Another Sunday in the books for the two of us. We have just a few more Sundays until we move to our new place. I’m not normally a fan of change (as you have probably noticed over the last 5 years of this blog) but I am SOOOOOOOOO ready for this change and what feels like a fresh new start. I’m just craving something different. PS hallelujah for short sleeve dress weather!
My current breakfast obsession: Kodiak Cakes with their super fruit syrup and blackberries. Brooke is also a fan.
Brooke then did a ballet performance for me (a solid 20 minutes of dancing) in the living room.
And then we were off to church. She was beyond excited for church because she had a talk to give in primary and she was the reverence child (she stood in the front of the room with her arms folded quietly while the kids all walked in:).
After church we went on a mini walk/scooter ride.
And played a few rounds of hide-and-seek.
And then the family came over for our classic Sunday night dinner.
Mer and I texted beforehand to color coordinate our outfits for the evening. Success.
My mom made the most amazing mashed potatoes for part of our dinner and then we had pie and ice cream for dessert. These Sunday dinners of ours are the highlight of the week.
Running from last week—> 5 days of running (30 miles wahoo!), 2 bootcamps and some hills and fartleks. I’ll start tracking my runs better and post my weekly running workouts now that I am out there running again! This 30 minute treadmill workout from last week was a great one just in case you want to try something different out this week!

The task of finding the right running shoes for you and your body is quite important… I think we can all agree on that. Brooks Stride Signature (there is no right or wrong way to run, only your unique way of running) just came out and it is an awesome way to assess what shoes would be great for you and your running.
They learn how your body wants to run—> you choose the running experience you want to have—> they recommend the best running shoe options for you.
Brooke was pretty adamant about having her shoes photographed too;)
Drum roll please…. my results from the online shoe finder: The Launch 3.
I’m going to have to agree with them on this one and use these babies to train for my upcoming 1/2 marathon in May!!!! <— just a little bit excited to race again.
