Silentish Saturday–> Disney 2.0

We got there when the park opened and left when it closed.  16 hours… done and done.  The kids are very proud of us.

And I always have a corndog at some point.

It looks like a great time and it’s definitely making me want to go to Disney. I’m working all weekend but I don’t mind. I feel like I post that every weekend!

Love the girls’ shirts! So funny but my kids were randomly asking me the other day what a corndog was, now I can show them! Looks like an amazing time!

SO FUN!!!

That sounds like so much fun. Utah isn’t too cold today, so I’m hoping that I can entertain my kids outside instead of inside today.

Wow looks like an amazing day! Those churros made my pregnant heart so jealous, hahah I need to get some of those ASAP. Looks like Brooke was a trooper for that long day of fun in the park!

Those churros = heart eyes for daaaaays!!! Saturday plans are to force my husband to go hiking with me somewhere since it’s suddenly warmed up! Wish me luck!

Wow that is a lot of walking! I don’t have much planned for today. Just finished a 5 mile run. Now procrastinating on the cleaning I need to do today…

Love this post! We’re going to Disneyland (for the first time) in June. We’ve been to Disney World several times and LOVE it so we’re excited to see it California- style. Have a safe trip home!

What a beautiful family! Very jealous – just got done with my 5 mi run and trying to enjoy some sun today!

Next time I go to Disneyland, I am definitely keeping track of my mileage! You almost walked a half marathon! A full day at Disney is no joke… you did it well. I bet you you slept really well last night :) I can’t wait to take my son to Disneyland one day!

What is your favorite ride?

Reply

I kept track last time too. I remember thinking “I need new running shoes for this.” :)

Reply

I loved reading about your Disney adventure! I also love your shirt Janae!
Where did you get it?

Reply

When we went to Epcot over Christmas we walked 13.8 miles!! I was shocked … HALF MARATHON baby….. Totally want to go back again, especially after these pictures!!

Fun, I have never been to Disneyland.

I ran 8 miles, it was supposed to be looter but my hip was too sore. I would rather ease off and do more miles during the week.

The rest of the day is errand and a fund raiser my friends are having at a local bar.

Reply

That seems like the funnest way to get in some miles! Just a few days at Disney and you have your steps for the week :)

Reply

You guys look like you had the funnest time! I’ve never been to Disney but it is 100% on my list!

Ps. your step accumulation has definitely motivated me to wear my garmin today and get a few steps in myself ;)

HOW FUN!!! And holy moly you covered a lot of ground!

Looks like such a fun day! I haven’t been to disney in so long. Today has been filled with running and errands so far, now hopefully the rest of the day will be a bit more relaxing!

What a day for you guys!!! Everybody look so happy! I’m sure it has something to do with the sunshine ;-) Interval circuit this morning and marking papers this afternoon… the only Disney in my day will be making Ratatouille for dinner!

Reply

It looks like you guys had SO MUCH FUN!! You are a brave crew, I have to say. I can’t wait to take my boys to Disney, but they’re just too little now (and we live in NJ so a day trip is kind of a out of the question ahha)

Looks amazing! I’ll have to travel down with my little girly someday!
Can I ask, where you got your shirt? (If you could please come and give me wardrobe advise, that would be fantastic!) haha.

I haven’t been to an amusement park since getting my Garmin Vivofit. Can’t wait to see how many steps I take. Looks like a perfect whirlwind trip.i ran 7 trail miles today and finally felt a weight of anxiety lifted off my shoulders. :)

Today marks the first day of my spring break, so I’ll be driving home today to see my family!

I got out for the longest and least painful run I’ve had since developing Achilles tendonitis last week… it’s feeling better day by day, but I’m worried from all the horror stories I see and hear. I’m trying to be careful and only run if it feels like I safely can (granted, I could be doing better at limiting myself…), but I hope I’m not actually damaging it. :/

Currently sitting on the couch and rolling out my muscles with the Stick after my 20mi run this morning. We are headed to Disneyland in June with our 2.5yo after the San Diego marathon. I’ve been talking up and schooling my daughter all things Disney in preparation. I can’t wait to be in your shoes I a few months. Safe travels!

Awesome! Looks like a great time! I miss Disneyland, need to get back!

Reply

So glad you guys had such a blast! We love Disney. Can’t wait to go back

Reply

Looks so fun, I love Disney too!

Looks like fun! Today I did my first stair climb race for the American Lung Association. 31 flights in less than 10 minutes! Not a bad race! Then I did my long run – 3 hours! It is 58 degrees and sunny here in Minneapolis in February! What?! Great day for a long run!

Reply

Looks like an awesome family day at Disney! On today’s agenda was a cupcake 5k! And yes, it was as much fun as it sounds!

Reply

I did my first run in three weeks and worked 7 hours…….more work after dinner. Damn tax season!

Reply

So glad you had such a great family trip. I can say that that would be the most fun 11 miles I had ever walked!

Today is all about rest and recovering from a tough 15km run yesterday. Sleep deprived, stressed and a bit dehydrated was not a good combo! My running really struggles when I’m been in a funk with people drama. Deena Kastor’s old running coach says that good relationships are one key factor to good running, and I really understand why…running with emotional baggage is draining.

But your happy post inspires me to do something fun and interesting today! I don’t have a Disneyland near me but I could watch some Disney movies….

Reply

I’m so impressed that Brooke and the other kids lasted 16 hours! I can’t even last that long!!

Reply

Oh, you have so have made me want to plan a trip to Disney World!!!!! We live in Georgia, so we go to Disney World in Florida! Yep, right after I get my first ever marathon under my belt next weekend, I must plan a trip to disney! My 6 year old will be so excited!!!!

Annnddd, I too will get a corn dog!!!!!!! LOL :D

I have to say though, I will have a nap the day we go, my family can’t do a marathon of 16 hours straight at disney like you guys! LOL!

Looks like it was an awesome day! I cooked all morning and then showed my friend around the Chinese markets in the afternoon. Then taught her how to make curry and ate it with friends. Great day!

Love, love, love the way the Little Man snuggles his big brother! And the thumb – sooooooo sweet!

Reply

Look at all of those steps! Glad yall are having fun!

Reply

So fun!! I just love Disney! but I can’t believe you did 16 hours of it!! I wouldnt have made it!

Reply

Wow, what awesome fun that is!! I wish I was closer to Disney. That would be bad because I would spend way too much money going there, so I guess that’s a good thing it’s across the country from me!

Reply

O that looks like so much fun!!!!!!!
