I tried to join Brooke on the couch when we got to the gym but she pushed me off and told me to go run. So I did. 4 miles.
She loves to pick a snack out to eat while I run… yesterday she wanted some plain toasted oats to munch on?
She joined in on the jump squats afterwards.
This type of foam roller make every muscle in my body cry for help.
Her feet currently grow 2 sizes a week so we went shoe shopping for some new kicks.
And then we picked up some cupcakes for the…
birthday girl!
Brooke went to bed at my mom’s house and I went with the man to one of our favorites… Wild Zucchini. Their pasta bowls are legit.
Turns out it is never too cold for froyo.
Although, I don’t think we would hate being near the ocean again…
and eating hotel waffles and eggs in our pjs.
This video of my nephew makes me laugh so ridiculously hard. He is quite the comedian!
Oh and I never posted my best nine on Instagram so I will on here instead… good memories. Boston won.

I loved seeing everyone’s best nine! Saturday plans are a long-ish run on the treadmill (it’s super cold and windy out), relaxing with the family and maybe a movie tonight!

We all try to get so much done on Saturdays oh yes. I have my long run today, 11 miles, not sure if it will be indoors or out because the snow is arriving in 2 hours and I’m still waiting for my breakfast to digest, so it may be a half indoors/half outdoors kinda run. Then strength training and yoga to round out the day. Paint my nails and watch a movie is the rest of my list for today!

My Saturday included 9 AM barre class and will also include a birthday run with my running partner. It always amazes me when people want to run on their birthdays.
P.S. You got me addicted to KeVita, Janae! I usually only drink water, but it’s so good and since it’s healthy I can justify drinking it every day!

That video of your nephew is adorable! I’m surprised my daughter hasn’t figured out how to do that yet since she loves having water on her face. As soon as we get in the tub she just face dives immediately.
This weekend I am doing a little bit of shopping ? and some running. Four easy miles today for my long run. Starting small over here! Then tomorrow I am parking my tush in front of the TV my MIL recorded the Harry Potter marathon over Christmas so I’m going to indulge.

I spent most of my Saturday morning running, stretching, icing, showering, and eating… now it’s 3pm but it feels like mid-morning to me! The only other thing I have planned today is a little homework and baking.
So I found a marathon in 6 weeks that starts and ends literally 1.5 minutes from my house and goes through my university campus… I really want to do it, but I just ran a marathon Sunday! I know that’s a short time between marathons, but I think I’m going to try to get ready to run it just for fun, without a time goal – and if it turns out my body isn’t ready for it, I’ll just do the half.

Very good plan! In 2013 I ran a marathon every month, which is totally doable as long as you have no time goal and you are racing for fun. If you are feeling any nagging aches and pains from your last marathon, I would definitely say do the 1/2.

I had a great Saturday. Slept in and had toast with Nutella & strawberries on one piece, then banana and peanut butter on the other. Hubby and I love this as a treat on weekends. Then we caught up with some old family friends at my mums house which was nice. Last night we watched the revenant – I love Leo but I couldn’t watch it! Too dark and violent for me. Xx
