I have a fun workout to share with you today!
PS I originally planned for this workout to be done at the track but when we got to the track it was completely buried so I went straight to the treadmill (luckily my treadmill room was pretty cold:). So you can do this workout on the treadmill or at the track. No equipment is needed besides your running shoes and a timer!
.5 miles (easy/moderate for .25 and hard for .25)—> Get out of your comfort zone for the fast portion! Get that heart rate up and go for it!
Narrow to Wide Jump Squats: Make sure your knees don’t go over your toes and start in a narrow squat. Lower down and push off the ground and land softly in a wide squat position. Hop from the wide stance back to your narrow squat. Continue for 1 minute.
Side Switch Planks: Start off at a side plank and switch from side to side.. keep that core tight the entire time!
Walk Out Push-Ups: Start standing. Walk your hands out to a push-up position, do a push-up (or two:) and then walk your hands back up to a standing position!
Jumping Lunges: Dip down into a lunge, jump up (land softly) and replace your feet (moving the back leg in front and the front leg in back). Keep your chest and torso upright and your core tight!
Plank Jacks: Hold a plank (you choose—> on your hands in push-up position or down on your elbows). Start with feet together, bring the feet apart and then bring them back together (land lightly and keep your core tight)!
Let me know if you try the workout and how it goes!!! I was burning big time by the last round!
PS I’m sporting my Champion Marathon Printed Tights (Black 3D Pyramid) and Tech Fleece 1/4 Zip! Champion gear is the best because they offer such a great selection, their gear is really high quality and you get a crazy good deal on everything!
Check out Champion on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest!!! I hope you have some awesome workout gear waiting for you under your Christmas tree this year:)

And a few things from last night! Instead of gifts for Christmas… the dude and I each planned a special experience/date for the other person and I planned the one last night!
We started things off with a sleigh ride in Deer Valley. It was 10 degrees and snowing but they had a bunch of blankets for us which helped us to stay warm.
I definitely recommend doing this if you are ever in Deer Valley (Empire Canyon Lodge).
After the sleigh ride we walked into Fireside Dining. I have been to this restaurant once before and it was beyond amazing so I thought it would be perfect for us last night.
It is a four course meal (buffet) and everything is served from their stone fireplaces—> swiss raclette cheese, amazing stews, breads, salads, steak, lamb, the best sides and the part I was most excited for….
Dessert fondues.
I wish every dessert came with dipping chocolate, white chocolate and caramel. Everything tastes better with a little added chocolate/caramel.
And then we made the drive back ridiculously stuffed and happy.
What are your weekend plans? Have a long run on the agenda? Any fun Christmas traditions or activities?
Who has been to Park City? Favorite place(s) to eat there?
What did you put on your Christmas wish-list this year?
