-Brooke is feeling a little bit better today but still not fabulous and so we hit up the indoor running option—> we can watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse together while I get in some miles and she relaxes.

–Megan is in Arizona visiting her family this week and so it is perfectly normal that we FaceTime as much as possible while she is gone.
-I forgot how much I like cauliflower until I had it for lunch today. Spinach + bbq chicken + steamed cauliflower + avocado.
-Who knew that $8.50 could buy so much happiness for the both of us after a stressful day the other day—> a remote control dog, my current favorite candy and some sprite. We both felt much better afterwards.
-My favorite clothing purchase ever—> this vest. Brooke in 2013.
-Brooke in same vest in 2015. I’m hoping we can get 4 years out of this vest.

-My marathon shoes are on their way to me! I love to get a new pair of shoes and put about 20 miles on them before race day and these are the ones! PS my calves are completely fine now after I stopped doing the fast fast sprints. I don’t know what shoes I will be wearing in the future so that I can do more speed work but I didn’t want to test around with different shoes so closely to the marathon (and risk a different injury) so I’ll be sticking to my faves for race day!
