Bombas–> what I will be wearing on race day! GIVEAWAY!!!

***Giveaway and discount at the end of the post!

Finally, an instance where my niece and nephew are actually really excited to match with me.

Bombas are athletic-leisure socks, re-engineered to look better, feel better, and perform better which—>  all I need in socks.

Not only are Bombas ridiculously comfortable and my favorite running socks, but Bombas are on a mission to help.

IMG 3659

For every sock purchased, Bombas donates a pair to someone in need!  Like it says on the card above, socks are the #1 most requested item in homeless shelters.  Bombas has already donated over 300,000 socks to those in need since they launched in October of 2013.  What a HUGE help they have been to people all over.

I love this video that shares more about their donations and impact:

Our hearts and feet are huge fans of theirs.

As you know, I’ve got a pretty big race coming up (24 more days until the St. George Marathon where I will push for a lovely new personal record).   One thing that I am kind of obsessed with is each piece of clothing/gear that I will be using on race day.  I want my favorite things that my body is happiest in with me for those 26.2 miles.

Bombas.  They will be on my feet race day (and all of the training leading up to it).

A little bit about why I love to run with Bombas socks:

1.  The blister tab.  I just love the little ankle cushion that is positioned right where your shoe hits your leg.  This little cushion has helped me so much to avoid rubbing and chafing.

2.  The Long Staple Pima Cotton—>  what their socks are made of.  The reason why these are so crazy comfortable.  It is also warm in the winter, cool in the summer, with natural moisture wicking properties.

3.  Bombas socks have Invisitoe which means that they do not have that annoying bump that runs across the toes of most socks.  They hand link their socks so that you don’t feel a thing.  No rubbing going on while running = yes, please.

4.  I love the reinforced footbed built into the socks for extreme comfort (the footbed is not super thick so that it is annoying, it is just the right amount of cushioning).

Fun fact:  Bombas has a 100% happiness guarantee.  If you don’t think that they are the most comfortable socks you’ve ever worn they will refund your entire purchase.  Really.

Sponsored by Bombas!  Thanks for supporting the socks I love on my feet.

Argh, it is impossible to pick one favorite. I’ve had my eye on Bombas for a long time… can I just ask though, if they are made of cotton, isn’t there an issue with blisters? I tend to go by the whole “cotton is rotten” thing, especially when running in hot weather.

I guess I’ll go with the orange ankle socks as my fave. I’ve been on a big orange kick lately. :)

I have been on the hunt for the perfect sock so I’m taking your word on this and bought a couple of pairs. I appreciate the discount. The socks I prefer now are the same price per pair but I can’t always find them and they tend to get stretched out and creep down my heels. Worth the $ to not have blisters but I want durable socks.

I love the grey with colored toes and if I like the ones I bought I will buy all of those in the ankle variety and maybe a pair of calf socks to lounge in.

I absolutely love Bombas — both product and as a company. I ordered a bunch of socks a while back and there was a little snafu with shipping. Not only was customer service prompt and a *pleasure* to deal with, but the double my order for FREE for the inconvenience! Such amazing customer service, message, and mission.

Maybe from all my running;) I need nice running socks because I am a broke recent college grad who only owns one pair of good running socks from an XC race in college! I wear them only for races!! Any color (ankle length or anything!) please, I’m not picky and really hope I win:)
