Just my nephew rocking the selfie at the pool.
Brooke, my mom and I made a quick trip to Costco yesterday afternoon.
Heaven forbid I leave that store with only the things I need.
I just couldn’t resist getting these water bottles for Brooke.
You know your purse is just the right size when you can fit a watermelon inside of it in order to make it easier to carry in your groceries. Or for when you need to sneak a watermelon into the movie theater.
Next up on the agenda was seeing Dr. B (I get a lot of emails about his phone number so I’ll include it here—> 801-513-1078). He found the problem and worked on it and it is feeling even better now. My Spring Ligament was angry so we will continue to work on strengthening my feet and giving that area some extra TLC. Training will continue and I will back off if at anytime it really hurts again.
PS I am also working on strengthening my calves and I did this video yesterday (without the weights… I will start using weights gradually).
Approximately every 3.5 months I have a strong need for nachos.
Need fulfilled:
I tried out this salsa for the first time ever and it is my new absolute favorite. If they carry this at your Costco—> go now to get it. It will top my next 8 meals and then I’ll have to go get another jar of it.
We made sure to spend some time with Princess Sofia while I iced my foot.
Megan D sent me a snapchat of her Monday creation and I sent a picture back of me drooling…
And then my dreams came true—> I found this bag of heaven on my doorstep. That is a good friend.
To make it she used THIS recipe for the caramel corn and then she added 1/4 cup peanut butter before she poured it all over the popcorn. She then added 1/4th cup peanuts and 1 cup Reese’s Pieces, stirred to coat and then spread it all onto a cookie sheet and drizzled with melted milk chocolate chips.
THIS JUST IN———> My shirts are up for sale again!!! GO HERE TO GET YOURS!!!!
Holli and Nicole rocked their Hungry shirts while out on Nicole’s FIRST EVER TRAIL RUN:)
Kylie is wearing her shirt while doing one of the best feeling post run stretches.

You can fit a watermelon in your purse!!! That is too funny! Back in my early 20s I would always have HUGE purses like that, but now I like medium sized purses because I hate when my shoulder feels weighed down on one side. It feels like weight lifting but only for one half the upper body, and you know, you gotta keep it even ;)
Ashley @ A Lady Goes West
Fruity salsa is the best. I’m excited to say I will soon be getting my first Costco membership. Now that I live in the East Bay instead of San Francisco, I have a lot more pantry space! :)

If I could run anywhere in the world today, it would be in _Bar Harbor, Maine__ and then I would go and eat a _Clam Chowder bread bowl___ followed by watching __ugh… Gossip Girl on Netflix__ (your current favorite tv show) or reading __Unbroken____ (a book you are currently loving).
So, I little side bit about Gossip Girl. I had never watched it when it first came out because I’m a wee older than say, you, and was old enough to not watch teen dramas at the time. Well, now I found it on Netflix and am addicted. The funny thing is, though, that the cast is supposedly so hot and all the guys on it are so cute… The character/actor that I find the hottest is Rufus Humphre… the dad. That right there just tells me that I’m too old to be watching it :)
MK
Oh my gosh, sort of same thing with GG. Never watched it when it came out (I was in high school then and alllllll my friends did), but now that it’s on Netflix, I’ve binged on the first two seasons. Ashamed? Nope!

If I could run anywhere in the world today, it would be in –the Normandy region of France, enjoying the rolling hills and farms– and then I would go and eat –too much pizza– followed by watching –new episodes of Bar Rescue– (your current favorite tv show) or reading –The Plantagents, which is about the Kings of England from about 1150 to 1350– (a book you are currently loving).
We just got back from a trip to Normandy and because I broke my toe before the trip I wasn’t able to run at all. (I was wearing socks and slipped down my stairs while going to my treadmill!) That part of France was lovely and I really enjoyed it, but it’s a perfect place for a rave run. If you’re ever in that part of the world, stay at Le Grand Hard!

Oh my I am going to Costco ASAP. I have been addicted to the mango one but I think its time to switch, hope mine has it!!!! I will let you know!
My running goals right now are to prep for the 1/2 here in Charlotte, NC this fall!!! I have not really had any major setbacks but I have gotten into a real funk. . . I was running so hard and strong and the last 2 months, I got into a slump with my running, going from 6 days to 2-3. WHYYYYYYYY???? So awful. I am finally feeling getting back into and started doing a boot camp class and back into spinning twice a week! Feels SO good!!!!
I was born and raised in CT, so I am a northern girl at heart but living in the South with my hubs!!!!!!!!

I would run anywhere that is cooler than Kansas City – the midwest heat is smoldering today! Sweet potato fries are on the menu for tonight … yum. And, I’m catching up on season 5 of Downton Abbey, which is now free on Amazon. :)
Danielle
I bought those cups for my son too because I love my Contigo bottles so much. I have ones for coffee and water (all from Costco). My son is only two and doesn’t really get hoe to use the lid that came on the stainless steel cup, BUT the kids are interchangeable. I love taking the stainless steel bottle with us when we go out for the day, since we live in Texas and it is 10000 degrees right now and cold water is essential. So far they have genuinely been leak proof… And all the mamas said, “Amen!”
