We are happy campers If the day starts out with a smoothie.

Because when I’m not in marathon training it is kind of fun to stop my run at a random distance.  Also, this huge fan saves my life.

Listened to these four songs for the whole run:

I’m OCD so on the mile for sure! Just ran 5 this morning, headed to the beach! Have a great weekend.

I almost never stop at random distances. I don’t mind running without my garmin though so then it doesn’t bother me.

We have cloudy, rainy weather on tap for the whole weekend too. I’m ok with that though, it is my favorite!

Have a great weekend!

I’m joining my husband for his long trail run this morning!
I will never stop short on distance, but I don’t mind going over and ending on a strange number.

I love that you have such good friends. I wish I had friends/destinations like that to go to.

Today my parents are having a wiener roast.

I love Jamba Juice but we don’t have any around us!

A lot of my runs finish at random points and then there are a lot of runs where I circle my front door to finish on an even mile mark :) Enjoy your weekend!

OMG that proposal! Killing me! Have a great long weekend trip!

What a cool way to propose to a fellow runner :)

I never stop because if I do I won’t start again. Have an awesome weekend! I’m hiking then going for a massage.

Random distance, you’ve come so far! I remember when you freaked out once because there was a snowstorm and you had to stop at a random distance to leave earlier for work. :) Great job on the run! I love seeing the pics of you & Brook. You are definitely the Gilmore Girls 2.0.

I stop right on the mile, I’m a little up tight about that!
Have a great long weekend, it looks like our weather is similar- it went down into the 30’s last night…

Reply

I’ve been running more for time than distance lately so my distances are completely random.
We’ve got a neighborhood bonfire tonight:-) Usually we do a Christmas tree bonfire in late winter/early spring but this year the weather went from bitter cold to hot and dry so we haven’t been able to do it until now. Those trees should go up quick!

I always stop at .00, .25, .5, or .75 of a mile. Round numbers make me oddly happy!
Today is a run, pancakes, and a bike run with my husband. Have a wonderful and fun Saturday!

I never stop at random distances! Hello type A personality.

Love love love the proposal!!

Plans for the day will be a run, family walk with the baby and husband and then taking our kayaks out since it’s going to gorgeous! Have a good weekend!

Love the running proposal. People can be so creative. I can only imagine what she was thinking during the run… “this has got to be the strangest route ever – what’s with all the turns?”

I like to stop my run on the half mile or mile mark. I’ve been known to make a few loops around the block or run up and down the street back and forth to make this happen. I’m that girl.

I get to take first aid for 8 hours and then work 4 hours. Oh man, I’m going to miss ALL of the sunshine!! :P

I will run in circles to end on a .25 increment. It gives me the heebie jeebies to end it on anything else. It takes serious willpower haha! Your aunt’s landscaping is on point. Love it.

Reply

I have to stop my run at a .0 or .5! I can’t help it!

I am in Cincinnati this weekend for a family event- should be fun! Enjoy yours!

Reply

I love A Goofy Movie. Goofy is the best.

I usually prefer nice whole numbers, but if I go over my planned distance, then weird numbers are ok.

Reply

I feel like all of my runs (for the most part) end randomly.

I love that proposal! That is just awesome!

Have fun enjoying your warm weekend!

Reply

I’m a little OCD so I either need to stop by the mile or by the minute. Both would be perfect! Lol!

Reply

I definitely prefer to end on whole numbers or .5. On Thursday I ended on .9 because I was out of time and it drove me crazy!
Enjoy your time away and have a great weekend!

Love the 24 pictures. The last one is from my hometown!

Love annoying my OCD friends by stopping when I’m done. Just looked at my distances for the week:
10.14, 7.47, 4.49, 9.98, 4.79, 14.72! Some running, some mountain biking, zero rounded numbers! I couldn’t have planned that if I tried. :)

Happy weekend!

That marriage proposal is super cute!
I always have to run to an even distance, or at least a half mile – I can’t stand having something in-between.

Reply

I just ran 10 miles in the sprinkles around Coral Canyon and I thought the whole time, “wouldn’t it be weird if I ran into HRG here? Nah, she isn’t here this weekend…” Ha! And now we are heading up north since our Memorial Day camping plans got ruined with the rain and we are just filling time til we return to CO. Darn rain!

Our weather here looks kinda like yours, so my day will probably be spent napping, but I’m ok with that. :) And I’m supposed to go dancing tonight, so that will be fun!

I actually always stop on random distances. I HATE running exact miles. So, if I have a 6-mile run, I will run 6.02 or so just so I don’t end on the exact number.

Hope it’s a fun weekend for y’all!

Yay for weekend getaways! I haven’t seen the Goofy Movie in sooo long, but now I kind of want to take off early from work, lay on the couch on this gloomy day & watch it!

Plans for today – working :( I have come down with a nasty cold so hopefully I can sneak away early. No appointments, almost caught up on everything, so fingers crossed!

I usually try to end my runs with a nice round number, but if it doesn’t happen, then I try not to get too weird about it. Although that 5.900 would drive me crazy!

My Saturday plans involve putting my new Garmin Vivoactive through it’s paces!!! Janae, this thing is seriously beautiful and so cool :) Can’t wait to take it for lots of runs!

I hope you have an awesome weekend! Aside from running like the wind I hope to do a whole lot of nothing and maybe catch up on sleep!

Reply

Oh my goodness what a sweet proposal! Have an awesome holiday weekend!

Reply

That is the CUTEST way to propose!!!

Good for you for getting out of town and chasing warmer weather! We have rainy weather here too so I’ll be doing some house cleaning, closet organization, cookie baking, as you say… livin’ the dream.

Reply

I love stopping at a random distance or time… like 53 minutes?! i don’t know why haha, it makes it feel more fun!

Reply

So fun that you got away for the weekend!
We are cooking and hanging out today – party with friends tomorrow.
I like to stop on the exact mile, if I go over – that’s okay too!

Reply

Spectated at a 5 mile race to see my friends. 11,000 runners. It’s a biggie.
Tomorrow I’m going sailing with the boyfriend his kids and his dad. And monday I am running a local 4 miler. I love weekends +1!

Say Geronimo has been on my running playlist since last August! I heard it my first week of university this year and I still have yet to get it out of my head. It is too catchy! Have a wonderful memorial weekend with the family and friends. :)

Reply

I’ve always wanted to try Pizza Factory! There’s one in St. George, so I’ll have to make a trip one day to get some :)

Today is spent at my sisters soccer tournament in SD! Just enjoying the gorgeous weather! Have an amazing Saturday!

SUCH A CUTE PROPOSAL!!!

OMG…I would DIE for that proposal :)

Saturday plans included a Spin class! Starting spinning due to injury in my foot, but know what? I love it! Rest of the saturday was just simply relaxing!

Love your play list from today! That Taylor swift song is currently my favorite song!

Have a safe and GREAT weekend

Saturday plans- long run, some landscaping, shopping and dinner date with my husband. He’s in need of some new outfits. Fun to pick stuff out with him!
I won’t stop short on distance but I don’t mind if I’m over and I stop at a weird number.

Reply

Ran 8 miles for week 6 of marathon training. :)

I hope you had a great weekend away!
