Sunday was the best part and Boston training week #9

I hope your weekend was a great one!  Our Sunday was the best part of our weekend for many reasons.  One of those main reasons—>  It was a much needed rest day from any and all physical activity besides walking to my car.

We started off with church.

IMG 6500 2

For dinner we drove up north for my cousin’s bday celebration.  I always look forward to his birthday because he is one of those really smart people that requests brinner for his bday meal.

Waffle iron for the win.

DSC 1615

She got some quality time in with Papa (what she calls my dad).

DSC 1626

And also Snickers the dog.

DSC 1634

We ate a bunch of berries for an appetizer.

DSC 1618

And the waffle mix that my cousin requested for our waffles.  This stuff is the absolute best and it is also a Utah based company!

DSC 1627

The breakfast bar toppings of champions.

DSC 1629

And what my plate included + another waffle + more eggs + salsa on my eggs.

I also came up with this brilliant recipe:

And for dessert they whipped out some cinnamon rolls and lemon bread.

Boston Week Training #9!!!!!

Monday:  7 miles @ 8:34 average pace.

Tuesday:  10 miles @ 8:08 average pace.

Wednesday:  9 miles @ 6:48 average pace with 10 x 2 minutes hard (5:56 pace).

Thursday:  Spin and upper body weights.

Friday:  16 miles at 7:41 pace.  Point to point run with gradual downhill overall.

Saturday:  10 miles @ 7:20 pace (my stomach finally felt good again so this pace felt good).  Post-run power exercises—>  these are sure to make your legs burn!

Sunday:  OFF

52 miles total.

Planks/core  4-5 days a week, stretching every day and foam rolling every other day.

The marathon is in just 7 more weeks.  I have my first 20 miler of this training cycle coming up later this week and also some fun mile repeats to conquer!  Time to really focus on getting plenty of sleep, eating lots of nutrients, continuing to stay injury free and working on my mental game!

Running item for free: new shoes. I’m in desperate need of a pair!

Reply

Love those pants in the picture of you and Brooke with the waffle iron :) I love topping eggs with green onions, salt and pepper and usually dipping something in the yolks :) Exciting time for your training!

Reply

I’m doing a 21 days refined sugar free starting on Thursday, it is going to be soooo hard! But after a trip to Florida/Disney last week I have eaten far too much sugar recently! I have marmite with me eggs (very British I think)- love the saltiness!

Reply

Relaxing Sundays are the best!

I’m working on incorporating more veggies into my meals. I have them at lunch and dinner but not as many earlier in the day. I want to work on that. Also, getting more sleep.

I’d say new running shoes, those are the best!

Have a great week!

Reply

I like my eggs plain, but with the yolk a little runny!

If I could have any accessory delivered to my door it would be a new Garmin. Mine broke over the weekend :(. Garmin sent me an email this morning though saying they would replace it … I can’t wait for it to get here! How will I run without it?!

Reply

So happy you took a rest day. I’m exhausted just from looking at your numbers! :)

My fitness related goals for March are to get in more strength training. I’ve neglected that part of my health routine and need to get back to it. My goal is also to run a 10k. Since this is my first 10k since my back surgery, my goal is to complete it without walking; I’m not overly concerned about the time.

Reply

I’ve recently discovered your blog and really enjoy it. I’ll never be as fast as you, but I am learning to love running. My nest half-marathon is in lat March and I am looking forward to my first full this year. Thanks for the inspiration!

Reply

Oh, wow, what a great menu for a b-day celebration! I just love breakfast foods. I top my eggs w/ guacamole or just salt + pepper. YUM!

Reply

Great week of training! My March goals are to eat more veggies, do core work/ Pilates after each run, and read more.

If I could have anything delivered to me right now, it’d be the new Oiselle distance shorts. I’m obsessed with them! Spring weather to wear then in would be pretty great also.

Tabasco is my favorite topping for eggs.

Reply

That looks like an awesome weekend!
I’m still in Lent, so no desserts until Easter.
I like cheese on my eggs.
Running related item: the new iWatch! I’m excited for its release.

Reply

with you on the desserts, and it’s even harder now bc all the Reese’s eggs are in the stores!

Reply

The Easter candy is so tempting…especially the Reese’s Eggs!!!

Reply

A new pair of shoes! But can we please talk about you carrying the waffle iron, I laughed out loud. You’re so dang cute. And any of those toppings on my eggs! Avocado and hot sauce is my favorite combo.

Reply

I would want multiple pairs of my favorite Brooks running capris.
I only put salt and pepper on my eggs. Never sauces like hot sauce or ketchup.
My fitness goal for March is to get back to running and healing this knee pain.

Have waffle iron will travel! Funny!

Reply

I mean, woah, that dessert recipe you created is just beautiful.

I would have all the Oiselle gear and a LuLuleamon sports bra delivered to my house right meow. This blog is magical so I feel like this could actually happen??!?! Best Monday everrrrr ;)

Reply

You people know how to do food the BEST! I’d love to come to one of your parties!

YES! Sooo many birthdays in March! Mine, my husband, my daughter, my friend, my sister & her husband all have March birthdays!

I read somewhere once that March has the most birthdays of any month in the year. I wonder it that is true?

Reply

Brooke is so stinkin’ cute and those waffles looked bomb!

I am pumped that March started on a Sunday, especially after the last few days. I came down with a stomach bug I couldn’t run from wed-sun. I got back at it this morning and if felt GREAT! With March starting on a Sunday, it makes it seem like a fresh start.. to me at least. It’s easier to start something at the beginning of the week than the middle. My goal for March is to hit all of my training runs with a positive attitude while continuing to work on my nutrition to drop some more lbs before my marathon on 4/26! I am really excited about this & super motivated!!

I usually put hot sauce on my eggs & eat them with 1/2 avocado! YUM!

If I could have anything any running related accessory, I would want some running sunglasses! I have been looking into getting a pair. Plus I just ordered a pair of Pure Flow’s last night & can’t wait to try them out! :)

Reply

fitness goal for March- finish Phase 1 of Jamie Eason’s live fit training program. It’s making me LOOK FORWARD to strength training… ?!! So I’m pretty sure I’ll achieve that goal with no complaints :)

I’d love some new running socks! I’m still on a search for the best ones out there.

Good luck to another Boston training week! You will kill those miles!

Reply

When you find a good pair of socks could you pass on that info please.

Reply

I can’t remember the last time I had a waffle but I think I need a waffle maker with all the good recipes I’m seeing. Any recommendations on what to get?

Reply

Great running week.!! So awesome :)
and Brooke looks adorable with that berry on her finger. Lol

My health goals are to eat healthy and have a solid running month without any setbacks.
And I would choose running tights or headbands.! use both daily

Reply

New Running Shoes! I’d take shoes.

:( And I forgot all of the other questions because I got distracted by….SHOES!

Reply

I think it would be good if I cutback on sugar this month.. I’m in shape and a healthy weight but have a HUGE sweet tooth and I think it would keep me from getting sick throughout the rest of the winter/spring if I stayed away from eating so many inflammatory foods. I also want to build up a good running base this month, I’m just coming back from an injury! A good diet will help me heal and stay injury-free!

I like KETCHUP on my eggs, yum.

I would want… a new winter running jacket! I know it’s supposed to be warming up but I think we’re looking at a few more weeks of COLD and I don’t have a winter running jacket. Would love to have one so I could get outside more even when it’s cold instead of the treadmill!

Reply

Don’t you just hate the sugar addiction. I do good, or what I call good, for a short time then BAM fall off the wagon and consume so much sugar. I am not really that knowledgeable on what the real effects certain foods have so to read about sugar being inflammatory is shocking to me. Maybe it will shock me into making better choices. I seem to be injured a lot so this little bit of info may have just made a huge difference in my self control over sugar. Plus, I am going to do a little deeper research on it.
I rarely read any comments from others on these blogs but for some reason decided to do so today. Glad I came across yours. Thanks so much.

Reply

I’m glad this helped you :) My doctor suggested to me that my chronic sinus inflammation, digestive discomfort, and evening running injuries could be related in part to refined sugars. I know I definitely feel better when I limit them – but this is just me. Good luck!

Reply

March is the month I get to get back into running! My goal is … to not get hurt doing it.

Reply

I would love new socks and compression sleeves! I just got new shoes yesterday:)

Reply

I go through spurts with liking salsa on my eggs. Right now I hate it, but that could change next week and I could start craving them again.

Reply

March 28 – Indoor Triathalon (3rd year in a row) stay injury free
What I would want right now……a garmin!
maybe a little cheese in my eggs but never salsa or anything like that. I’m a plain jane !
I have a son who turns 23, WHAT??? can’t be true, a niece, sister in law, two granddaughters in March that I know of without looking at my calendar but me, nope, not yet.

Reply

You are going to rock your tri at the end of the month! That is so exciting… third year in a row! You are amazing Lisa!

Reply

I would choose the pure project coat-that jacket is SCHWEEEET!!!!

March goals: 1:30 half marathon on 3/15!!!!
I”M GONNA NAIL IT!

Reply

Yes you WILL. You go girl

Reply

You’ve got it Nicole! I am so stoked for you!!!

Reply

This month I want to keep up with my nutrition. I focused a lot on it this past training cycle and don’t want to lose it now that I’m not training for anything!!
March is devoted to recovering from the Phoenix Marathon the other day, and also running a 5K later this month with my mom…it’s her first time RUNNING a race EVER and I’m so proud!!

I put pepper on my eggs…so boring!

If I could have anything, I’d choose a new pair of Brooks PureCadence. I’m due for a new pair!!!

Reply

For march, I want to increase my mileage. I am not currently signed up for any races, so it has been hard to motivated myself to run longer distances than 6 miles. The weather hasn’t helped either…
If I could have any running accessory delivered to my door, it would be yaktrax. I’ve been running on ice a lot lately, and even fell once. Not good.

Reply

I would choose an amazing pair of shorts that don’t ride up when I am running :), any suggestions would also be really great!

Reply

February was rough workout/eating wise on account of ridiculous amounts of snow plus getting sick. My March goal is to get my workouts and eats back in routine (please Mother Nature… please!!).

I need new sports bras. They discontinued my go-to style so I’m going to have to actually do the whole trying-on-jumping-around-in-the-fitting-room thing. So if I could magically have a few new perfectly fitted sports bras I would be a mighty happy camper.

Reply

My March running goal is to be PLANTAR FASCIITIS FREE!!!! I am SO done with it.

I LOVE putting ketchup on my eggs. I really love putting ketchup on almost anything…but it is so good on eggs!

If I could have anything right this moment, I would have another pair of Saucony Kinvaras. I didn’t think I would like them as much as I do, but I think I have finally found the shoe for me!!

Reply

That’s actually a hard question…maybe new running shoes or a new garmin?

Your training log looks great for last week- lots of speedy miles!

My birthday is in March, and I’m turning 30…I don’t think I’m quite ready for that! At least it’s an excuse for cake.

Reply

Sriracha has made a vicious return into my life and now I put that shizz on everything! Well, not everything but definitely on my eggs every morning.

March is a month of no dessert/sugar/sweets for me and it’s been so tough! Which is surprising because I did the same thing in January and had no problem at all. The struggle is real…

Reply

My birthday is this month! The hubs and I celebrated a little early last night with a Chicago style deep dish pizza and fro yo :) haha I’m pretty low key and easy to please!

My fitness goal this month is to sign up for a kickboxing class or a gym membership and attend consistently.

I would love another Pair of Brooks PureFlow shoes, Lululemon speed shorts and tank, or Nike Leg-A-See leggings!

Reply

I’m doing a Pure Barre March challenge where I’ll try to complete 20 classes in 31 days. I took the first class yesterday, and I’m already so sore!! :) I would love to have some new fun compression socks delivered to me right now for my sore calves! I love waffles!! Looks like a great weekend. Have a good Monday!

Reply

I’ve really been wanting to try a spin class and finally ripped off the band-aid and went for it yesterday – loved it! Starting off March the right way!

I’d love to have a good pair of sport sunglasses to run with. When it’s super sunny, I just run looking at the ground most of the time lol.

Reply

I just started getting a organic produce delivery each week, and it has totally changed my diet! I’m getting bok choy, cabbage, beets, zucchini, bananas, apples, etc all delivered to my door… and I’m super against wasting food (ie: “Well, there’s ice cream in the freezer so I HAVE to eat it…”) so I’ve been good at coming up with ways to pack my meals full of veggies.

If I could have any running related thing delivered to my door for FREE? I’d love a pair of compression tights and a Garmin Forerunner 220. :)

Reply

Your Wednesday workouts always blow me away. How you manage sub-6 min miles for 2 minutes, TEN TIMES is beyond me, especially on the treadmill. I can pull off the long distance runs on the weekends at a good clip but you seriously kill me on your speedwork/power stuff. You are HUGELY inspiring to me. I’ve been focusing on speed lately and although it hurts, it has been changing me into a better runner. It’s awesome.

Reply

What a good time! I have a tiny waffle maker that does the trick, but I still want the waffle iron that’s shaped like the state of Texas.<3

Eating goals for this month: I gotta get serious about fueling for training. Also, the wedding is four months away on the 11th. Knowing that I've built a race schedule around that makes me feel way less yucky about cleaning up the diet.

Cheese over my eggs, please!

Reply

I’m turning 28 and 7/12th on March 11!

If I could have anything I’d probably get some a brand new industrial strength treadmills with a fan and a tv built right in. I can dream right? If it’s coming out of my pocket though I’ll just take some compression sleeves.

My challenge for March is to complete the distance of an Ironman (1.2 mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2 run) each week. This is really just a scheme to get me in the pool which I’ve been avoiding like the plague.

Reply

I can’t believe Boston is so close! I just had a race yesterday so March is all about recovery and focusing on my move to San Diego. If I could have anything right it would be to have a massage therapist come to my house and give me a massage. I am super sore from my race yesterday.

Reply

Hello! My goals for march include staying away from the fast foods joints on my way home from work and to run 50 miles for the month! :]

I usually do a lot of omelette eggs with a ton of veggies thrown in so i don’t really top them with much else.

If I could get one this free right now it would be a Garmin running watch.. :/ a little bit out of my price range that I could comfortably spend..

Reply

Woooo yes, March 30!!

Reply

You are KILLING it with your training!! I can’t wait to see how you do in Boston. I’ll be cheering you on from Pittsburgh!

Have any fitness/eating/health goals for March!?! Please share!
-I shared these over at my blog yesterday! I made yearly goals, and have divided them into monthly goals to stay accountable. One main goal is to follow my training plan 100% in the month of March!

Any MARCH birthdays? What day? How old are you turning?
-My fiance is turning 24 on March 25! We’re going out for a fancy dinner which is a huge treat since we’re saving up for a house. I can’t wait to get dressed up!

Do you top your eggs with anything? Hot sauce? Ketchup? Salsa? Something else?
-I’m from Pittsburgh so it’s gotta be Heinz Ketchup :)

Random Q for the day—> If you could have any running related accessory/pair of shoes/piece of clothing delivered to you right this second for free, what would you choose?
-Wow..what a tough question! I would, of course, gladly take ANY running gear for free, but I would probably pick shoes because mine are almost dead!

Reply

If I could get anything running-related delivered to me right now, it would be GU gels (salted caramel) and Honey Stinger chews… I assumed they’d be easy enough to find here in Europe, but I haven’t yet come across the salted caramel flavour (only the fruit ones which I can’t handle) and no gummy chewy things. Really surprised about that!

As for eggs, I like adding hot sauce, ketchup, and/or salsa. Oh, and lots of cheese if I can help it…

Reply

love the idea of birthday brinner!

Only dessert on days I work out. Multi-colored meals! Ramping up the mileage (marathon training begins in May)

Any MARCH birthdays? What day? How old are you turning?
March 4th, turning 42!

Do you top your eggs with anything? Hot sauce? Ketchup? Salsa? Something else?
I love cheese on my eggs.

Random Q for the day—> If you could have any running related accessory/pair of shoes/piece of clothing delivered to you right this second for free, what would you choose? Anything in Opal from Oiselle

Reply

What a great birthday dinner! I love Brooke’s little coat!

Reply

What makes you more tired: speed work or long runs? Or tempo runs?

Reply

I’m Mexican so pass me the salsa please for eggs and tapatio on hash browns. Yum that all looks good and you are too funny with your gorgeous hair and sweatpants. I laugh cause that was me yesterday after church all about that comfy:)

Reply

Nothing better than breakfast for dinner! The wedding I was in this weekend served their guests breakfast! Burritos and donuts and pastries, it was so fun!

Reply

Your cousin wins best birthday dinner!! Brunch foods are seriously the best.

I did 12 miles on Friday @ 8:27 avg page. During the middle it got a little boring but I just repeated “you can do hard things” and it got me through :) sometimes I’m feeling bad for not running as much as others during the week, but I have to remember I’m not them – aka I’m not training for a marathon and don’t need to be doing a crazy amount of miles!

Reply

Brinner is a winner. We do it at least 2x a month. And eggs are good with hot sauce or salsa – as long as there is avocado involved too. Eggs are 13,567x better with avocados. As is most any food really.

I would have these lulu speed shorts everyone always talks about delivered to me. Never tried them. But I think they must be made of gold from the way everyone talks about them (and maybe their price too ;) )

Excited to see you tonight. I swear it has been at least a month.

P.S. I am never overly dramatic or exaggerate.

Reply

I just ran an awesome half yesterday, so my first goal is rolling and getting a walk in ;) This month is all leading up to my second marathon next month, so just busting my butt and taking care of myself.

I’m on the 20th and I’ll be turning 25! So crazy.

I love eggs with salsa, cheese and avocado! YUM.

I’ve been wanting a new pair of capris. And shoes. And..haha, really I’d love a lot of things. Maybe that’s what I’ll ask for my birthday!

Reply

Congrats on your awesome 1/2 marathon!! You are amazing and that is awesome that you have another one next month! Happy birthday in 18 days!

Reply

I am a ketchup LOVER. I’m surprised you don’t put BBQ sauce on your eggs ;) My March goals are to get this surgery (next Monday), stay sane, rehab like a CHAMP, and get healthy, healthy, HEALTHY!

I would choose a pair of lululemon tights. RIGHT MEOW, please.

Reply

I need to try Kodiak cakes! Everyone is talking about them. I saw them on Shark Tank.

My birthday is March 30 and I will be 26!

Eggs with cheese and salsa is always delicious.

Reply

Oh man, breakfast for dinner is THE BEST! Especially when there are waffles involved. Smart man!

xo

Reply

I do not even remember the last time I had breakfast for dinner and that makes me incredibly sad. Our dining hall thinks it is a smart idea to only serve breakfast during breakfast hours…lame!

Reply

A pair of Mizuno Wave Inspire 9’s- they don’t make them anymore and they were my all-time favorite running shoe. Still on the hunt for something like it :)

Reply

Your training is inspiring! Wait to go :) I love Marathon Monday we celebrate it in my house by sporting our Boston Strong t-shirts! My sister-in-law lives in Boston and it’s on my bucket list to park myself somewhere along the race and cheer my heart out :)

Reply

salsa is the only thing I like on my eggs. I love eggs. Love them.

Anything delivered right now?

The perfect gps watch I guess. My Garmin is not my favorite. I want something not pink, slim, small, simple and clean.

Otherwise…Nike t shirts. V neck. That style of t shirt that’s a nice deep v but not super form fitting? I love those. My favorite to run in.

Reply

I LOVE Sriracha sauce on eggs!! Salsa too:)
Fitness goals for March are on par with yours….running Boston Marathon #5 this year. Although my training plans aren’t quite as fast as yours:) You’re going to kick butt.
A delivery of my favorite running item: Lululemon Run Swiftly Tech t-shirts would be wonderful!

Reply

My birthday is today! I am 29 :)

Happy Birthday!! Hope you have a great one!

Reply

AHHHH HAPPY HAPPY BDAY ALLIE!! I hope you have the best day ever and enjoy some cake or donuts or both:)

Reply

I am trying to jut get some miles on my legs again. Doing a 20k in May. Not looking for any time goal, just to enjoy first longer run back after baby.

BW3’s wing sauce on eggs…..love it! love it so much we call it drugs in our house.

Reply

I’m doing my fifth half marathon on the 15th off this month, which is just two days after my 34th (holy crap) birthday. My family is filled with March birthdays: the 2nd, 6th, 13th, 28th, and 29th. It’s a busy month!

Reply

WOW… that is a lot of birthdays! You are going to rock your 5th marathon in 13 days wahoo! Let me know how it goes!

Reply

It is 12 weeks out from my half I am running here in Chicago so I am hopping back on the treadmill until it’s warm enough for me to get outside. I have been teaching and taking a lot of HIIT classes, so I need to get back into more distance running.

I like mushrooms with my eggs, but sometimes I will mix it up with Sriracha and avocado as well. MMM.

Reply

I would choose an awesome warm running jacket! And then I would hope to not use it until winter comes again. I’m ready for spring!!!

Reply

I put spinach and plain greek yogurt on my eggs. Very good!
March goal to lose 4-5lbs of body fat. Bumping up lifting from 4 to 5 days per week and increasing the weight. Cardio HIIT 6 days week.

Reply

My son is turning 2 years old tomorrow! He’s the only March birthday in our family :) We’re starting off the day with Mickey Mouse-shaped banana choco-chip pancakes (or at least my attempt at making them) plus some whipped topping. Your belgian waffle iron ROCKS! I’m putting that on my birthday wishlist for this year.

March goal: Stay running and keep on growing this baby!
Running-related clothing I would choose: For Two Fitness racer back tanktop. My belly is growing out of the usual workout tanks!

Awesome training this week! Can’t believe Boston is only 7 weeks away. Woop woop!

Reply

Fitness goals for March are to run FASTER. I really really want to get a 5k PR out of this year. :-)

Boston is ALMOST here. Way to go on the training! Oh yeah, and I like salsa or bbq sauce on my eggs.

Reply

I am also running Boston! My goals for March are to not let myself get burned out, eat a little healthier, and break in my new shoes!
I love ketchup on my eggs.
No birthday for me, but it will be three years with my boyfriend on March 17.
Any running item…hard to choose. I would say any bright colored item or clothing!
Good luck with your training this week!

Reply

A breakfast bar for dinner, so fun!

Reply

I want wireless headphones delivered to me right now! That would be nice.

I need to stay away from sugar this month. Huge sweet tooth here but you’d think I’d learn because when I don’t eat a lot of sugar I feel better!

My mom and my nephew have birthdays in March. :)

Reply

Wholly wednesday!

Reply

Those cinnamon rolls look sooooooo good! So does your cousin ;) haha

Reply

He’s 23 and single:)

Reply

Such a fun weekend!
My goal is to log more time running in the pool this month!
Eggs = sea salt and pepper. Sometimes hot sauce. Sometimes cheese!

I would want new sunglasses for running!!

Reply

Now I immediately want a waffle.

Hmm healthy eating goals…. I was complaining the other day to my husband how tough it’s been losing the baby weight and dealing with this loose skin since I initialky lost a huge chunk after the twins. Anyway, I was rambling about all the things I’ve been doing right and he responded (insert voice of reason) “you’re not a teenager anymore”… So true! Being a runner and pa person who never really had to watch wat I eat makes me think I can just eat like I always have. My goal is to remember I’m not a teenager when I eat!

Running things I want… I’m greedy and I would like a headband AND some new sneaks

Reply

For some reason this week, I had a moment of panic where I thought Boston was 5 weeks away. So relieved for those two extra weeks!
Solid week of training, lady!

Reply

Fun birthday! I love brinner and have it at least once a week. I like to put salsa on my eggs!

Reply

I usually don’t put anything on my eggs. If I’m feeling adventurous I’ll add a little cheese, but that’s it!

Reply

I would love a new pair of Kayanos! I am trying to talk myself into parting with the dough, because it is really time.

I’m turning thirty-something on March 18! :)

I put a little salt and Worcestershire sauce on my eggs. I copied my Dad and it stuck.

Reply

Shoes. Definitely running shoes. Seems like I always need a new pair. I just bought my daughter (she’s 12) her first pair if real deal running shoes for the upcoming track season. She chose the Brooks Pure Flow 3’s and said they feel amazing. Made me think of you. ;)

Reply

I’m hoping to work on eating a little better so I will be starting to have Shakeology for breakfasts soon. I am also hoping to continue to add more mileage to my running since my accident so I can return to racing again soon!

Reply

Okay 3 things! 1. Brinner looks amazing! I am making it for din this week. 2. I LOVE your hair/sweats in your pic with Brooke. 3. I called my grandpa on my mom’s side Papa and my dad is now known as Papa too :)

Reply

Kodiak cakes are the best! I just recently discovered salsa on my scrambled eggs. I think scrambled eggs are kinda boring without it.

I would love some compression socks delivered to me!

Reply

What a feast! Everything looks delicious, especially the waffles. My goal for March is all about drinking enough water. I’ve never been good at it! Time to make a change.

Reply

A super soft longsleeve shirt. Something cozy after all this mid-Atlantic snow. And now I’m craving waffles. Have you seen the recipe for eggs in the waffle maker?

Reply

Kodiak Cakes is THE best mix ever!!!

Your hair looks gorgeous!

Reply

I have a March birthday!! My birthday is tomorrow. :) To answer the last question, if someone could deliver a pair of Brooks Glycerin to me for my birthday, that would be amazing. I would always choose shoes – they are NOT cheap!

Reply

Happy Birthday tomorrow! :)

Reply

My mom’s birthday is the 24th and my brother’s is the 27. It’s not as busy, as some, but it’s still fun! :)

My work is doing a weight loss challenge and I’m a part of it. I definitely need to be doing better. It ends in April and I’m hopeful that this next month goes better!

Reply

I would love for a Sparkly Soul headband to magically appear in my mailbox!

I really want to try it, but I am so sick of trying new running accessories only to find that they don’t work and/or are not right for me.

Reply

My birthday is March 24 and I’m turning 32! I’m more excited this year than I was last year- I favor even numbers. :)

Reply

I am still out of running for at least the next 5 weeks so I am having to curb my eating big time :(

My oldest baby is turning 11 this month! I am not old enough to have an 11 year old, and at some point she has got to stop growing, right?!
