I stress out, RUNNER’S PASSPORT and a debate.

I do this weird thing where I stress out big time about being on time to the airport for a flight.  Yesterday I was especially stressed to get there on time because I never know when and where there will be traffic in California.   There was zero traffic from my aunt’s house to Oakland and everything went smoothly which resulted in us getting past security 2.5 hours before our flight left.  Cool.

We decided that a sit down breakfast in the airport would be a great way to fill up some of that time.   Nothing wrong with a little Chilis to start your day off right.

Brooke watched Alice in Wonderland on the plane and I did some typing and before we knew it, we were back to Utah.  Brooke has the flying thing down since she goes back and forth to California so often to see her dad.

My sweet mom picked us up at the airport and had this waiting in the car for me.  My runner’s passport came in the mail!!  Remember last year when I decided to run a marathon after only pool running for a solid 5 weeks leading up to the race… yeah, that marathon hurt really bad.  I am glad I am road running this time around before the marathon.

IMG 8330

I had about a 10 minute debate with myself yesterday about whether I should have an egg sandwich or an almond butter and jelly sandwich for dinner.  This is what I call compromise.

IMG 8336

After dinner we were picked up to go on a date to get our favorite.

IMG 8343

FYI I don’t talk when I am eating ice cream.  I get down to business.  I will talk afterwards but I get in the zone and need to just focus on my bowl of goodness.

It’s that time of year to start eating all of your meals and desserts outside.

Have you tried this stuff before?  It makes my skin feel so much better.

A few people asked what my friend Jess put in the bags for her Bridesmaids.  It was amazing—>  A bag with our initials, a robe with our initials, a ring, necklace, a really sweet note and her mom’s famous huge homemade chocolate chip cookies.  It literally felt like Christmas morning.

Time to get my last 12 x 800m speed workout done before Boston!  Hoping these ones will be the fastest ones yet.

I’m super stressed about being on time for things, even when there aren’t any real consequences to being late, I still get nuts. We have tons of traffic where I live in NJ, right outside of NYC and it’s terrible!

Reply

YES! I love that St. Ives Apricot scrub. I’ve been using it for like 15 years now. I love the way it smells and I love the texture!

I think my most painful race was the last few miles in my first marathon<— enough said :).

I ran in Athens and started feeling sick about half way through it. Had to finish though because I didn’t speak the language, couldn’t remember the name of my hotel and had no way to contact my family! Definitely not my greatest race, but so glad I finished!

I can get all the way across the town I live in about 8 minutes flat. 10 minutes if there is “traffic”

I need to be at the airport on time or early or else I stress a bit. I really don’t like being late, but I try to be relaxed about it and not stress. Sometimes that works! :)

Reply

I’m not the best at traveling either. I always stress out for the silliest reasons (my biggest fear is I’ll be late or not timely).

I swear by St. Ives scrub….it keeps my skin pretty smooth.

Reply

I use really basic face stuff- Cerave foaming face wash and mineral oil to take off my makeup. I used to use that scrub too, but I heard it’s really bad for your skin and way too harsh since it uses walnut shells! Be careful!

I live in the city in Pittsburgh and we do deal with traffic, but it’s not as bad as California or New York. You’re usually sitting in rush hour traffic for 10 minutes max!

I am always super stressed about being somewhere on time. My parents always made sure I knew how important it was to not be late anywhere, and now I get so stressed if I’ll be less than 5 minutes early for something (or a few hours at the airport!) and I get kinda cranky :/

Reply

I totally stress out about being on time for things. I can’t travel or do a race without a schedule set of when I need to be there and when I need to leave.
I got L’Occitane Immortelle face wash in a sample at Sephora a while ago and I love it. It smells so good and makes my face feel so fresh! Too bad it’s $$$ and I can’t afford it regularly.

Reply

I stress a little about being late. If I have something to go to.. than I want everything to run smoothly and get there on time. Or I’m running around everywhere.
I rarely have to deal with traffic where I live. And it’s nothing compared to big cities. Only if there’s a tractor or a car accident. Lol

I’ve been using Neutrogena Redness Relieving Wash for years and LOVE it. I’ve always had problem skin and it really does make the redness and breakouts go away.

The st Ives scrub is awesome and so affordable. I am super laid back about timing, and yes, I’m always late. Ha!

Speaking of ice cream, Baskin Robins has $1.31 cones today.

My favorite face was is the 3-step clinique line. I’m not much of a fan of the scrubs because my face is sensitive.

Being on time to flights is scary important! I’m late to things sometimes, but not if there’s a possibility of being left behind haha :)

All those goodies in the gift bag were awesome! I love monogramming accessories! Also, that egg sandwich looked REAL good.

My last race was most painful for me. The last 6 mile were absolutely brutal. I slacked on training and I take responsibility for that but it was painful!

I use an apricot scrub like the one above but just a generic brand! I love that one above too :)

Not anymore! I used to live in NJ, close to the shore, so the traffic used to be AWFUL. I moved up to VT a little over a year ago and am loving that there is barely any traffic ever!

I would say I am pretty laid back but it depends on where I am going -> airport or a race I would be stressing out until I got there.

Enjoy your training today!

The most mentally painful race for me was the Paris marathon where I missed my goal time by 38 seconds, I could not stop crying afterwards and my knees and hips were so sore too.

I love Liz Earle hot cloth face wash!! Need a better exfoliater though!

Reply

I ran a hot summer 10 miler that hurt worse than any marathon.
I love neutrogena natutal face scrub.
Luckily, I rarely have to fight traffic.
I am totally ocd about being on time and early. Being late is so stressul!

I always stress out about being on time for things. I live in Chicago, and have to deal with horrendous traffic every. single. day. It can be so infuriating at times.

Reply

I come from a family that is notoriously early for things and stresses out about being late all the time. I’ve had to go to a football game four hours BEFORE it started because my grandparents were worried we would be late….

Those bridesmaids gifts WIN! What a sweet treat she put together.

Traffic is my worst enemy. I hit it every day coming home from work, regardless of the time. I think God enjoys testing my patience on the daily :)

When it comes to fro-yo: I don’t share, I don’t speak, I’m in that zone with ya girlfriend.

Good luck with your 800s speed workout! You’re a beast.

Those bags are amazing – how thoughtful! All stuff you will use over and over too :)
(except the cookie of course ha ha)!

Most painful race was hands down the Chicago Marathon 2013. I wasn’t as trained as I should have been and it was a lot warmer than anticipated. Plus I was going through some pretty emotional things and it gave me too much time to think. I was so happy to be done.

I’ve been using a face scrub I found at TJ Maxx. I look for things that are not tested on animals and found it there – can’t remember the name off hand but I really like it! Plus I have the Clarisonic which I LOVE.

Traffic in Atlanta is horrible – I try to stay out of it as much as possible and even try to plan flights around off times so I can get to the airport easier!

I am usually pretty laid back about time but I stress big time about having to catch a flight!

Good luck on the 800s – those sound painful but you are ALMOST THERE!

Reply

My last marathon I dropped all my fuel at the start line so I ran with ZERO fuel. and that was oh so painful.

Loving a Green Tea face wash, it works wonders!

Reply

I always make sure to get to places on time! When we travel we do get to DIA a bit early but, like you, we just go and eat. It’s actually so much more relaxing that way and airports are fabulous for people watching.

Reply

I typically get stressed coming home and not leaving, because I know my city/what the airport is like. But you got there way earlier than I normally do:)

Hardest run ever was a hilly Thanksgiving 10k- I was not prepared for the hills! It was harder than a half marathon I had done two weeks prior:)

I love cetaphil and apricot scrub!

Reply

Honestly last year’s Boston was my worst race. It was MUCH warmer than I had anticipated and I didn’t race smart. Went out way too fast and the Newton Hills ate me alive. Crossing my fingers for 40 degrees, cloudy, with no wind for you this year!!

I don’t use face wash really. I use make up remover and that’s about it.

Yes to traffic. All day every day. It’s the worst!

I used to be extraordinarily high strung about being on time. I still am pretty uptight, but I’m working on it :-) I think I’m getting better, but I could be biased? Good luck on your speed workout tonight!

Reply

my first full marathon was so painful because I fell apart before the double digits. Nerves tensed me so bad my back went out and my lower abdomen cramped up. I ended up finishing in 5:28. But two years later I returned to the same course and shaved 31 minutes off for redemption. :)

I have been using Bliss foaming face wash for a while and love it!

Oh yes. I live in New York city. Have to deal with traffic daily!

And I totally stress about being on time for flights.

Reply

I was thinking yesterday about how you ran that marathon after only pool running when I did my first outdoor run in weeks! It felt SO hard…I haven’t been pool running as much as you were- maybe 1-2 times a week plus occasional runs on the Alter-G, but it just doesn’t cut it. You are amazing for being able to finish that race last year!
Right now I live really close to work and don’t deal with traffic for my commute, but if I ever want to leave the city the traffic is awful! Im also moving in 2 weeks and will have to deal with more traffic then since we are moving farther away from the city.

Reply

My most painful race was my first (and only) full marathon.

I enjoyed half of it, but after that it was just painful. I admire your love of the distance!

Also, I’ve only ever tried one facial scrub, and my face ended up extremely red and irritated! So now I stick to washing it :)

Good luck with your speed work!

Reply

The traffic in New York is horrendous and a real test of patience! It’s either you fly in and out of the city or you sit at a stand still for hours, for really no reason lol…I do the same thing with my lunches where I want pb & j but think I may want something else so I make a compromise plate of both :) I can’t wait to be able to eat outside again! And yes to being quiet while enjoying dessert. Always!

Reply

-Rock n Roll Las Vegas was the most painful. I think it was because the race was later in the day. I already had a lot of food in me so I was experiencing some, uhm, stomach issues (I won’t go into details)

-There is SO much traffic where I live! Even worse, the roads are always under construction so people get confused and forget how to drive!

-I’ll be the first to admit that I’m a control freak. I get very stressed when things don’t go 100% as planned It’s a bad habit of mine, but I’m working on it!

Reply

I always stress about being on time…kind of funny since it seems like everyone else is always late :)

I can’t imagine doing a marathon after 5 weeks of pool running. I had to pool run for a few months when I had a stress fracture, and I was in surprisingly good running shape, but I remember being really sore after those first few runs outside. My last marathon was definitely my hardest race. It was my first marathon in 4 years (because of injuries), and I was in the process of moving from Europe to the US. I spent the week before the race packing and painting my apartment, and had to haul two 50lb suitcases and two carry on bags with my BY TRAIN to the town the race was in. I was already sore from the move!

Reply

My most painful race was a 15k last summer when every step felt like I was literally stepping on a knife, thanks to my plantar fasciitis. I also once ran a half with a broken hip, so that was pretty bad, too.

I use an Aveeno face wash that is so wonderful. I LOVE it, and it leaves my face feeling so fresh!

I deal with traffic so much it’s ridiculous. My current commute is 45 minutes on the way to work and sometimes up to almost 2 hours on the way home. It’s horrid.

And that’s also not good, because I stress out majorly when I’m late to anything. I always want to be on time. I wish I could be more relaxed about that, but I always feel pressed for time!

Reply

After getting so many speeding tickets I had to take a test to keep my license, I always plan traveling things down to the minute and I’m ALWAYS early. I’ll sit in my car and just read > getting a billion dollar ticket + being late. Ha! Brooke watched my favorite Disney movie! Smart girl!!! Thanks for letting me know what was in the bag! Personalized things are a good idea!

I’m flying to Germany in two weeks and super stressed about having internet access on the 18 hour flight. Many of the airlines have it but it is so super slow or drops you constantly.

I LOVE that apricot scrub… I use Cetaphil as a cleanser and then use that afterwards and it makes my skin so soft.

I have the worst fear of flying, so I always get super stressed in general.

Reply

I ran a 5k a couple of weeks before I had hip surgery for a torn labrum. I have a hard time holding back so needless to say, that race hurt!

Reply

I stress out very easily, and then it’s all downhill for me until I finally calm down! I don’t travel that often, but I’ve almost always been with other people so I’m ok. I would probably be a freak if I had to fly lots of new places alone all the time. I don’t have much traffic to deal with, and my hometown of 700 doesn’t even have a stoplight. I could never drive in a big city.

I’m living the Boston excitement through you!! Just seeing the passport makes me excited!!

Reply

I much prefer getting to the airport a little early vs. late. It gives me time to grab a coffee or snack, read, write, or wander around bookstores (which is always fun). I am a pretty punctual person, so it is very rare that I am late for anything.

I would say that my first half-iron distance duathlon was the most painful. It was a 56 mile bike ride and 13.1 mile run in unseasonable HOT temperatures. I was cramping and sick to my stomach on the run and at every aid station had to pour ice everywhere. I’m still not sure how I survived that one.

No traffic where I live – thank goodness. I don’t think I could handle traffic and commuting everyday… way to stressful!

Happy speed work day!

I used to use that St Ives scrub all the time- just seeing that picture I could smell it! Hmm- I may have to pick some up. Lately I’ve been using the Target brand apricot face wipes. They’re really gentle but get all the makeup off.
I don’t have to deal with much traffic but there is one bridge near me that gets so bad I will drive a couple exits further north (into another state!) to go the back way home! It really does take less time that way.

By far, Catalina Half Marathon was the hardest for me! It was uphill the whole first half and straight downhill the whole second. So much pain, but got some delicious street tacos that made it ok :)

Reply

Impressive that Brooke is such a frequent flier! I hadn’t even been in an airplane when I was her age. As far as the facial scrub, I used to use and love that stuff, but I recently found out I’ve developed a sensitivity to one of the chemicals in it and it makes my face break out in a rash. :| I’m aiming for sodium lauryl sulfate-free scrubs and face washes now.

Reply

I used to use that scrub when I was a teenager! I totally forgot about it. Ha! I used to have lots of zits and I’d literally scrub the top ten layers of skin off my face with that stuff. And man, those 800s are beastly. I could mayyyyybe do 5 of them at that pace but 12? NOTACHANCE.

Reply

I used to use the St. Ives apricot scrub but then I found they have a green tea scrub and I use it everyday (even though I don’t think you’re supposed to..) and my acne went away!

I’ve been washing my face with olive oil for 2 years. It seems like it would make it worse, but my skin loves it. Just rub olive oil on and then steam your face with a hot wash cloth for a minute or 2. Skin is so happy!!

I am super nervous about getting on time for some things. For the most part I’m a few minutes late a lot. For some reason my head thinks that I’m 15 minutes away from whatever I’m going to. oops.

What cool bridesmaid gifts!

Well I ran my 3rd marathon on Sunday and it was by far my worst. It got up to 85 degrees, in mostly full sun. I was recovering from an illness that derailed my last few weeks of training (including missing my last long run). I walked a ton in the second half, something I’ve never done before. I was pretty upset about my performance when I finished, but looking back now I think I did okay given all the circumstances. Marathons are just such a beast that are hard to predict. But it won’t be my last!

I’m always early or at the very least on time for everything. I hate being late!

Been using Paula’s Choice cleansers and lotions and I love them! They are gentle and make my skin look great! Highly recommended.

I have a couple of friends running Boston, can’t wait to hear how all of you do!!!

Reply

I did use that apricot scrub for awhile and really liked it.

I don’t have to worry about traffic since I live in Chicago and walk everywhere, but I definitely stress out when I am late or am approaching being late. It’s something I hate with a passion but am trying to be more forgiving of myself about if it’s for a reason out of my control.

Reply

I’m lucky that my “commute” to work is only 10 minutes, I definitely don’t take that for granted!

I’ve been using an Aveeno face wash lately and it smells SOOOOO good. Love how soft it make smy skin too!

Reply

Most stressful race… Hm. That had to have been my first marathon. All the nerves were kicking in.

Thankfully, I live out in the country so there is not that much traffic where I am. :))) I love that.

Reply

I once ran a color run 5k that was all over grass/rocks and hills. It was awful. I am loving this scrub from St. Ives right now: http://www.amazon.com/St-Ives-Blackhead-Clearing-Green/dp/B00K3YFW9M/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1427811150&sr=8-7&keywords=st+ives+scrub It is a little less harsh and smells heavenly.

Reply

I love that face wash! It’s always available in little travel sizes so it’s my special “congratulations, you’re travelling!” face wash. My most painful race was the Vancouver Rock n’ Roll Half last fall. I had a piriformis/IT band thing going on, so I limped through the last third of the race feeling like I had razor blades in my leg. I have the BMO Vancouver Half coming up in 4.5 weeks, so hopefully all the physio/massages/exercises/stretching that I’ve been doing ever since then will pay off in a more successful run!

Reply

I get super stressed about being on time to things because I hate being late, but it’s usually because I AM running late that makes me stressed. Ha! You’d think I would’ve learned by now just to leave or start getting ready a little earlier, but that rarely happens. ;)

I love that St. Ives face scrub too! Good stuff that makes my face feel so soft.

Reply

Most physically painful race was the Long Beach Marathon in 2013 because I didn’t train, and I got a comped entry a week or two before and thought “yeah, i could run that.” No. my ankles hated me. Most emotionally painful race was Boston 2013, I was stopped at mile 25 and was in panic mode bc my (at the time) pregnant sister had been at the finish line. Luckily, when she was there, she thought “hmm Mary will probably want donuts when she’s done”, so she left and went to Dunkin Donuts, and that’s when the bombs went off. Donuts saved my sister and niece’s lives!

that st ives is my favorite. I have the generic target brand right now, but i LOVE that type.

I live in Los Angeles, soooo we get some traffic. a lot. Luckily, I live a 15 minute drive from one job, and a 15 minute bike ride to the other. However, I never see my friends in Santa Monica or anywhere on the other side of the 405 because noooo thank you.

I tend to not stress out about getting to places on time, but I do tend to be about 10-45 minutes early every where i go because i HATE being late. My boyfriend is consistently late, and over the 2 years of us dating we have found compromise for various events. sometimes we’re early, sometimes we’re a little late, sometimes one of us goes and not the other hahaha.

I stress out about being on time for sure. Yet I am still always a couple minutes late. And I am a basket case the whole time I am getting there because I am upset that I am late. So next time I allow more time, but I am still late #kids

Cereve is my face wash and I love it.

The marathon was by far the most difficult/painful #BecauseMarathon

Your great sandwich debacle of 2015 was solved brilliantly. You are my hero.

Also, fro yo time is not to be intermingled with any other time. Not even talking. It gives me feelings that nothing else can and I never want to take away from those feelings. I may have had pb fro yo from The Mav again last night #IAmPrettyMuchOnARoll #ThingsAreGettingKindaSerious

I use St. Ives too! Love it!
My most painful race was this last half marathon I did. I was very negative and the weather did not help. Knowing that I got through has helped me though.
I deal with a lot of traffic, but not so bad that it makes me super late to things. Now that I’m not working downtown it helps too!
I am ALWAYS on time for things. Actually, I’m usually fifteen minutes early.

There is traffic where we live, but I don’t deal with it that much – thank goodness! :)
It’s always a mad dash being on time for us…with 3 little kids there is ALWAYS something going on. You could be doing great, in the car and ready to go- then someone has to go to the bathroom RIGHT NOW or the littlest has a poop that has to be changed. We do a good job, but it’s a juggling act at all times. :)

I’m always early too. It drives me crazy when people are late!

I use Aveeno. I have super sensitive skin and it’s one of the few things that doesn’t irritate my skin.

I absolutely HATE being late, more than almost anything else, but I don’t find myself stressing about being on time very often. That’s probably because I always allow a ton of extra time so there is no need!

Reply

I’m the same when I travel. I’d rather be at the airport waaaay early, over getting there with barely any time to spare. I commute to work and while my traffic isn’t as bad as LA traffic (where I grew up), it does get frustrating driving on a 1 lane road for forty mintues behind super slow drivers!

Reply

I am originally from the Bay Area (and heading there this weekend!) and live in Arizona now, so I always have fun reading your posts when you are in either place. The most painful race for me was Rock N Roll Virginia Beach 2014. Oh my gosh, words cannot describe how awful I felt. I didn’t train nearly enough as I should have and it was so hot and humid. I was exhausted and uncomfortable from the long travel (plus sharing a hotel room with three other people) and was not prepared for the weather. Blech! The face scrub I am currently using is one by epice. I got it in an Ipsy bag a few months ago and love it. I am a social worker so I drive a lot all over Phoenix. The traffic isn’t too bad here, but sometimes it does get inconvenient. I do stress about being on time because I cannot stand tardiness! I find it rude and disrespectful. Being on time for a flight is even more stressful because you could miss your flight! Not good!!

Reply

Early in my running, I ran a trail half marathon near Calistoga. It was very hill intense, we crossed rivers and climbed boulders. I fell. Not just once, but twice. I was a mess and could barely walk for several days afterwards. That was the half marathon that I realized if I could survive that, I could run a full marathon.

I live in the Bay Area — so you know what I’m faced with on a daily basis. Luckily, right now I don’t do a lot of commuting. But I’m a stickler for being on time, so I usually leave ridiculous amounts of time to get anywhere. Which has resulted in many sit down meals at the airport much like yours.

Reply

Ironically my most painful race has been Boston! The course was fine but it was super hot the year I ran it (2012) and I was NOT acclimated to running in heat at all! I was a sweaty, dizzy, hot mess with major chafe-age (not a word I guess).

I put vaseline on before the race as usual but it washed off when I ran through the sprinklers and hoses to cool off. Woops! I finished, though, and that made me happy :) Couldn’t leave without a medal! The rest of Boston’s awesomeness totally made up for the heat exhaustion and chafing.

We have zero traffic in my area because we’re in the boonies of northern MN! Being on time does stress me out!

Reply

No traffic here! I live exactly seven miles from work and it’s a straight shot.

Reply

I absolutely HATE to be late somewhere. I will leave my house a really ridiculous amount of time if I need to be somewhere that is 30 minutes away.

I can’t eat ice cream without something to drink with it, preferably a Sprite.

Reply

My last race was the most painful ever because I had stomach pains from mile 3 on and not like runners trots stomach cramps but more like oh my, someone has stabbed me in the stomach type of stomach pains. (Turns out it may be gallbladder related.)

I have used that same scrub for years and it’s the best. They also make a mask which is incredible.

I live in Florida and 90% of the people driving here are on vacation and have no idea where they are going and are in no hurry to get there so traffic here is less than desirable.

And that stinks for me because being late is my absolute biggest pet peeve of all! It stresses me beyond anything imaginable.

Reply

My most painful race was my first (and only thus far) marathon. It was the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but once I crossed the finish line I felt like I could fly. I am more proud of my marathon finisher’s medal than I am of my master’s degree. I know that’s weird, and I shouldn’t be saying it. But! Never once did I think I wouldn’t get my Master’s, you know…? ;)

And yes, I get totally stressed out when I run late for things.

Reply

What race has been the most painful for you? Why?
Twisted Ankle Trail Race! The first 3 miles are up a hill called “Becky’s Bluff” and it is almost straight vertical at times. I’m talking, instead of running or even jogging, you are facing the sky, holding on to tries to get up the mountain. THEN when you conquer the bluff, you have 10 miles to go. Ridiculous. But fun!

What face wash or face scrub have you been using lately? Love it?
I use St. Ives and so does my step-daughter. Makes my skin feel so fresh.

Do you have to deal with traffic very often where you live?
Only at 8 and 3 because we live right next to a high school. I don’t generally go out during “rush hour” times and I’m lucky enough not to have to.

Do you stress out about being on time to things or are you pretty laid back?
I NEED to be on time. I would almost rather not walk into the room than walk in 20 minutes late.

Love that bag!! Any ideas where it is from.

My worse race was the rnr Raleigh marathon last year. I ran it three days after food poisoning. Not my smartest move but I completed marathon 16!! Hoping Boston isn’t that eventful! T minus 20 days until we toe the line!

Dallas traffic sucks. People don’t know how to drive here.

Hardest race = my first half marathon where I made the mistake of stopping to use the restroom and my legs basically died. #neveragain

My 8 week training plan for my next half includes speed training! So excited to hop on that train finally.

Darn it, I didn’t get my passport yet. They must be mailing them by bib number because my husband got his too. Maybe today will be the day!!
I’m usually not too stressed about getting anywhere on time. I dislike being early and waiting around, so I’m usually “that person” who is late for appointments. Oh well, someone always is :)

I have used the same face scrub for YEARS!! I love it!!

Traffic isn’t too bad here…but I have a 5 minute commute to work so I might be the wrong person to ask! lol

I like to be on time, but when it comes to flying, I am a HUGE stress case about being on time. It’s not pretty. haha

I used to use that St Ives scrub and it seemed to work well until I read so many places that a lot of dermatologists warn patients to stay away from it…apparently the pieces in it are jagged, not round, so it can actually cause tiny tears on your skin and leave a risk of infection or damage to skin over time. It seems to work for a lot of people, though, so who knows…may be worth the research though.

Funny thing is, I stress out about being late all the time….and for good reason, because I’m usually late. I used to be on time all the time. I don’t know what happened. Hmm.
Races are the only place I’m not late:)

I use that St Ives all the time and accidentally got the cleaning gel last time wasn’t the same. I use in shower and do my neck and sometimes my back lol
I like being on time to things esp airport but as I get older I’ve learned not to rush but be prepared if that makes sense. God knows where I’m suppose to be at any given moment and I’m learning to accept it.

I use St. Ives, too! I alternate it with my go-to Aqua Glycolic wash. But for $4, St. Ives is a deal. Pharmacist recommended :)

where oh where did she get that amazing bag!!??

I used to use that exact St. Ives scrub, but I needed a little more help with my acne and have gone with Proactiv since. I’ve been using it a long time, and the face wash that comes with it is slightly exfoliating which is really nice. Gets all the salt and the nasties from running all the time out.

I used to use that St. Ives scrub, but my Esthetician told me to stop using it b/c the little exfoliating scrubs are actually rigid shaped, which ends up scratching and damaging your face. Just a heads up…I loved the stuff too.

I had a not fun race experience with my first half marathon because I had been in bed with the flu the week before. I still ran it and ended up winning free shoes!

I love that face wash, too!

And I have one of the Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich makers and love it, you should get one! They also make a double one so you can cook two at a time! I usually do english muffins, and egg, and either sausage and cheese or avocado!
