Somewhat Silent Sunday! Vday edition.

Holidays in our household (apartmenthold) always begin with a special breakfast and sprinkles.

We took the kids to a hibachi restaurant for Valentine’s Day last night and they loved it! It was so much fun!!

I never get sick of eggs and sweet potatoes. Fresh on my mind because they were both in my breakfast but they just rock and I’d eat them with all my meals :) Love the pink V-Day running outfit! I’m such a pink fan I’d love to wear it every day.

Food I never get sick of…probably pasta. Spaghetti or lasagna maybe? Very rarely would I ever turn either of those down!

Weekend highlights: an awesome 20 miler, I got a paining I’ve been wanting, and we’re going to brunch after church this morning!

I loved that you passed out candy…so sweet!

I never get tired of Mexican food or the vegan chocolate chip cookies from Whole Foods!

I never will get sick of almond butter or any nut butter for that matter. A spoonful with a few mini chocolate chips is pure heaven. Best part of the weekend was shopping with Mom. She’s leaving me tomorrow to go back to Wisconsin. I’m feeling a little sad about that.

Best part of my weekend was surprise flowers from my husband! And I will never get sick of fajitas…………they are so good!

The best part of my weekend was seeing the SpongeBob movie. And maybe eating the rest of my carrot cake from my bday. Haha!

I never get sick of oatmeal because you can top it with so much. Or chocolate chip + banana diner pancakes. I’ve had them four times this week. Yeap.

I finally went to the gym and did a strength workout yesterday! It felt GREAT. My Vday was spent with my favorite.. mom :) I made us homemade pasta that was incredible!! I went out for breakfast, so I’m making my heart shaped pancakes today. Love your idea of handing out kisses!!

Best part of my weekend was kicking off my 2015 races with an awesome Mardi Gras themed 5K and then heading to Disney World with my hubby and two daughters for a special Valentine’s Day ice cream treat. It was the perfect day! :)

It’s hard for me to resist mozzarella cheese. I could eat that stuff by the pound, lol!

I love campfire smell!! It reminds me of all the summers I spent at camp while growing up:) One food I never get sick of- Oatmeal! It’s good at any time of the day, no matter how I’m feeling. I start to crave it if I haven’t had it in a few days.

I will never get sick of peanut butter, chocolate or oatmeal. I would add in sweet potatoes but sometimes I go for a regular baked potato for a change but I love them too : )

I will never ever get sick of cereal. Any kind any time of day:) Best part of yesterday was afternoon date with hubby and massages followed by Fro yo.

Best part of weekend: karaoke with friends last night. Food I never get tired of: “brinner” (breakfast at dinner): specifically, a breakfast bowl with potatoes, eggs, turkey sausage, and whatever veggies I have around.

I got to get all dressed up (aka put on more makeup than usual) and go to the Boston Wine Expo with my husband and some blog friends. Food, friends, wine… fun!

Its been such a fun weekend- playing with my puppy is probably the highlight, but I had a great run yesterday and a really fun dinner and chocolates with my husband!

I never get sick of dark chocolate, or berries with Greek yogurt and walnuts.

I’m with you on the pizza front. I could eat it every day.
Last night the boyfriend cooked me an amazing meal. Artichokes stuffed with cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. Crab stuffed, bacon wrapped filet mignon and he hand dipped strawberries in chocolate. He’s a keeper. :)

The best part of my weekend was a slippery, icy 7 mile run with my running group yesterday! :)

I could never get tired of eating oatmeal, sweet potatoes, or pizza. The best days are when I eat all three of those!
Best part of my weekend: going out for chips and guac and drinks with my husband. Mexucan food reminds me of summer even when there’s lots of snow!

Best part of my weekend so far was watching my daughter’s team win their basketball game. It was the most intense game ever and they won at the buzzer. Haha, they are 5th graders ;)

I don’t think I could ever get sick of sweet potatoes! I ate SO many when I did the Whole30 and still loved them every single time.
Best part of my weekend was going to see the house that we are having built! They had most of the kitchen and bathrooms done and it was so fun to see the designs we picked out coming together!

I love the idea of doing something for other people on Vday! I received a single rose yesterday from a random person and it meant the world to me. It wasn’t the rose but the thoughtfulness of people that brought the biggest smile to my face!

I could never get sick of chocolate… or pickles – but not together, I’m not that strange ;)

I’ve had a really nice weekend but probably the highlight was my older daughter (she’s 17) getting me the best Valentine’s card. So sweet :) I also had a nice dinner with the hubby last night so I’m feeling like a lucky girl.

Best part of the weekend-today my youngest turns 10! Time flies!
Sportswise-today’s snow run (15K, 18k cut short a bit due to change in meeting at finish plans) and yesterday’s snow bike ride were quite ReFrEsHiNg!

I will never tire of rice chex with sliced banana, or rice with veggies, or chocolate chip cookies…..

The best part of my weekend was getting my pup back from my parents yesterday :) They were watching her this week while I was supposed to be traveling for work (flight ended up being cancelled), and I missed her!

I am also proud that I finished a 6 mile run yesterday! I am also training for Boston, but 2 weeks ago I developed tendonitis in my right foot. It’s been a total bummer, but hopefully my recovery is making progress…

Fire pits are the best! I wish I had one, but I definitely enjoy them when I’m at friends’ places.

Last night I went to a hockey game and my team one. There were a few close calls (we were tied twice), but we came out ahead!

We got our new car, hooray.

I did 12 miles on the treadmill and didn’t die of boredom. (put The Birdcage on. love that movie).

I’ll never get sick of shrimp, chocolate, pancakes and sunflower seed butter (not all together all though various combos work really well).

Yesterday, my hubby and I went on a hike and picnic in a lovely spot around a lake. Laying back in the sun with some cheese and wine was fabulous! Glad you had a good one! :)

We wrote a lot of notes to each other on Valentine’s day. My 5 year old son wrote “I love you because you’re silly” to me. My husband and I went to an early Valentine’s dinner and gave me a billards lesson. We came home in time to have a dance party in the kitchen with our boys before bed.

I could never get sick of chips and salsa. Good salsa, not that icky Pace Picante nonsense.

I loved my Saturday … all of it! I slept in, had a nice breakfast at home, went to the movies with my man, had frozen yoghurt, made pizza and brownies for dinner. All good!

Best part of the weekend was doing my long-run outside before the blizzard hit! So happy to get some fresh air even if it was icy and cold!

My weekend was spent in Cedar City, and I loved it because the weather was so nice!! Can I just say that your sweet potatoes look amazing! I am totally making that for lunch tomorrow :) I don’t think I will ever get sick of Cafe Rio, well unless I get pregnant again and the morning sickness (all-day sickness) make me not want it, but that is the only way ha!

I love the idea of passing out candy to college students! Both my husband and I work on campus at MSU (Michigan State) and I’m going to take my two boys out (ages 3 and 7 months) next year to do that! I bet the college ladies would love getting candy from two handsome little men :)

I dont think I will ever get tired of chocolate. That’s prob a given though.

My weekend was fantastically slow and I binge watched movies with my husband while it snowed outside. We also made a bunch of Blue Apron meals and just hung out. I signed up for the Chicago Spring Half in May so it’s time to start putting in some more work on the treadmill!

I do love cheeseburgers. And hiking in Boulder with my husband. We escaped for the weekend and had to come back a little early due to the weather but still…it was fun.
