When you run, do you ever pressure yourself to run faster? Or do you zone out and just keep moving? Do you do speed work?

I love the new mountain you climbed! I just woke up today debating if i should run or not because I’m tired of the same neighborhood routes!

I wish we had good trails around here. You are making me jealous!

Plans for today: errands, coffee, buying our Christmas tree and buying a baby gate for my daughter’s Christmas present… A Goldendoodle puppy that arrived Monday! She is the cutest ball of fur ever! Maybe you should bring Brooke to VA to play with her!

Enjoy the rest of your trip.

I like the captions in the photos…that’s a pretty neat idea Janae! Have a great day and enjoy yourself!

Mini golf is the best. I definitely don’t do that enough. Your trail run looks gorgeous!

Plan for the day is to wrap some Christmas gifts and clean up my house (very exciting Saturday for me!)

Have a great day!

I’m enjoying my last morning in Florida before heading home today! Then the rest of the weekend will be spent getting back to reality. Your trail run looks beautiful! Enjoy your reunion with Brooke!:)

Great pictures.
You have me craving a trail run.

All we got for today is a jog, the grocery store, and some college football.

Reply

Love seeing your photos! Getting some shopping/returns done today plus school projects. Also I’m making bone broth in my slow cooker for the first time. All the little things :)

Reply

Your pictures always make me consider finding a trail to run! Just finished 13 miles…the rest of the day will be spent relaxing, eating and shopping!

That view is gorgeous! And now I’m craving lemon and pomegranate haha. Plans for today are a spin class with my family, shopping, and relaxing :) Have a good Saturday Janae!

That view is seriously amazing. So so beautiful.

I have wanted to try nutso before, but at $13 a jar (and with the quantities I eat but butter) I would have to be a millionaire first.

We buy cups of pomegranate arils at Costco. It truly is so much better than getting the seeds out myself #solazy and the kids love them.

My plans today are cleaning (blah), running, maybe helping Julia move (she is moving kind of by me!) And shopping-small business Saturday #word Hope your flight is good/smooth and your reunion with Brooke even better.

Getting our tree today!!!

I love your booties in the mini golf picture! What kind are they? And we have plans to get our tree and decorate for Christmas!

Thank you so much Audrey! They are from shoemint.com. I hope you had an amazing day getting your tree and decorating it!

I had an awesome 20 mile long run with friends and hopefully I’ll finish decorating for Christmas!!

I just came back from a trail run organized by a local trail running group. It was so much fun. And cold! I’m now going to spend most of the day getting some paperwork done and pulling out my Christmas ornaments from the attic. I love days that I have all to myself :)

Reply

I bet Brooke is so excited to see you too!!

We are decorating for Christmas today and taking Christmas pictures of the kiddos today. Tomorrow morning before church is long run day :)

I’m going out to lunch with my sister :)

I want a vitamix so badly

Just finished 8 miles now I’m drinking a big green smoothie! You should do a post on your favorite recipe! I am OBSESSED with Nuttzo. I’m rationing my last jar!

Reply

The climb to that tree looks awesome and awful at the same time :)
My plan for the day is 4 miles later and Bones right now.

Reply

I’m getting Christmas stuff out today! Bring on the tree! Boyfriend is less excited about having to carry heavy things to and from the basement.

Reply

Just finished my workout and then putting up the tree! And I have about 70 presents to start wrapping- we have 7 kids!

Reply

the palm tree one made me laugh out loud! love your posts! They make me smile! Enjoy your time with that sweet Brooke!!!

Working :(

Then I’m going to spend all evening on the couch watching TV of some kind. This week has been exhausting!

Reply

First I’m super jealous that there is no snow where you are right now!!

Our plans are to get our Christmas tree today! This is the earliest that we’ve done this since our daughter was born, her b-day is Dec. 5, I was trying to separate it more. She’s turning 5 and finally really gets this whole Santa thing and is asking some really hard questions…like “how does he know if we’re naughty or nice?” We’re going to a tree farm with horse drawn carriage to chop one down (it’s actually warm enough today, 35degrees in WI!) Some hot chocolate and check out the reindeer there also.

I love Nuttzo! I really need to find some trails in Phoenix. I haven’t been out until now due to my injury. Todays plans…too much sums it up! I want to bake two batches of cookies as gifts to give away this week, go to Starbucks and write a few blog posts, finish Christmas-fying my house, talk to my Mom for hours and maybe squeeze in a hunger’s game movie. I saw #2 earlier this week and OMG…I can’t wait any longer to see the 3rd one. You were right. It’s so good!!!

Beautiful trail photo! 5 miles this morning in 25 degree temps. Ugh. Rest of day = supporting small business Saturday! Shopping local and eating out with the hubby!

Reply

Looks like you’re having fun!

Today is crammed full, as usual! We already went to Gymboree and had a big brunch. After little man naps we’re going to the park, since it’s actually over 40 degrees and sunny today :) Then, we have a play date and dinner with family. Somewhere in there, or after little man conks out for the night, I’m going to squeeze in a run on the treadmill. Or possibly take out the jogging stroller for a spin.

Have a great day!

Isn’t running around in Northern California the best? I have no plans for today (besides a run in the near future) and I am totally okay with that. This long weekend is all about relaxing for me.

Reply

That view was AMAZING!!
Can you please post your green drink recipe? I have always wanted to try one but have been hesitant…
Have a great weekend!!

Janae my darling! Who is WE? Is that a boy? I hope you had a magnificent thanksgiving!!

I ran 3 miles in new shoes today. So far working out great. Cleaned my house…it looks amazing with all my Xmas decor. Having lunch with good friends and then having dinner with my inlaws for my mother in laws birthday.

Reply

That jar of Nutzo is expensive I picked it up to put in my cart at Whole Foods then remembered where I was and checked the price tag and put it right back on the shelf! It looked amazing though!

I am going to go on a easy run… hopefully, it’s a little windy here though.

Love mini golf on a Saturday night. Definitely a summer “sport” around here. Looks like you are having a wonderful time.

My husband and I ventured out this morning and cut down our Christmas tree. It was snowing lightly, which set the perfect ambiance. :)

Reply

I love pomegranate seeds, not so much the process of extracting them from the fruit though! I only get them when I find them already de-seeded like you! Makes eating them so much easier!

Reply

What a gorgeous view!! Glad you got to see your sweet Brooke. Not sure what I think about the lemons. How did it taste?

Reply

I live in the Bay Area and used to hike near the Stanford campus and also out in the Los Gatos area. Where is your run? It’s stunning!

My Saturday plans were to accomplish my 100 miles in November goal. I ended my run today at 99.2 so I walked my dog to get to 100. Yeah me! :)

What a pretty place to run!! I’m so glad you get to see your sweet baby girl today :)

Saturday plans- quick 5 mile run and core work before hoping on a plane to Palm Springs (heaven when you live in bitter cold Calgary, Alberta, Canada)

Have a great reunion with Brooke!

Reply

Today I did a combo running/ice skating workout around/on my favorite lake. Heaven!

Reply

I ran 28km of beautiful trails in NZ, my longest run yet! I just want to say, you motivated me to train for my first marathon!! After going through a rough patch, this goal has been the best way to improve my outlook. Thanks for showing me to always look at things positively :)

Reply

Haha this was a cute post! How was the lemon rinds in your smoothie? I’m curious! And I’m happy you get to be reunited with Brooke, she is so adorable! You make me want to have a girl, she is always dressed so girly!

Reply

Love the pics!!

Saturday I played field hockey in the morning, ran groceries, did some Xmas shopping…and bought myself some awesome new black boots in the process!! Lol! Then I had dinner at my parents!

Reply

The fiance and I are serious mini golfers! It is so much fun! And I love pom! Have you tried the Pom juice called hula? oh my heavens…………pomegranate and pineapple juice! I love all things pineapple! (Maybe that’s why I love Psych so much!)

Reply

I have never heard of putting lemons, especially with the rinds, in a smoothie but I did it this morning and I think it has changed my life. My smoothies have been a little boring lately (I usually blend a banana, frozen blueberries, vanilla protein powder, spinach, and sometimes frozen strawberries) but today I added just a slice of lemon with rind and it is so refreshing!! I almost never need a whole lemon when I get lemons so this is a delicious way to use them up. Thanks!

Reply

I love pomegranate seeds! I consider them healthy candy!

What a view!
