My Favorite Jewelry Giveaway and in other news…

I have a feeling I will be looking down at my left wrist about 30 times each mile during my marathon on Saturday.

I am a huge fan of Thought Blossoms so I am stoked to be able to do a giveaway.

I absolutely LOVE their customized active bracelets and runner ID.  The bracelet is super lightweight.  You barely feel it while you run and I love looking down at it and seeing my favorite mantra ever.   They offer a lot of different colors to choose from and you can have up to 15 characters on each line (2 lines) of whatever you want it to say!

And yes, we got matching bracelets.  J & B.  Brooke’s bracelet has a magnet instead of a clasp so it is super easy to put it on her.

Okay, just one more picture of them because I love them so much.

Thought Blossoms has a huge assortment of incredible necklaces, bracelets and rings.  It is so fun to pick out exactly what you want each beautiful piece to say and making them personal to you.

I ate a sesame bagel with smoked salmon cream cheese. My favorite month is October, I adopted both my dogs in this month and in two weekends I’ll be getting married. Good luck on your marathon, you’ll do great! Dig deep!!

Run Far. My favorite…but also lately – run hard and be nice! (I feel like those two things could quite possibly save the world! Oh…and I have to remind myself that often cuz I have a teenage boy whose testing me! So…therefore I tell myself over and over…run hard and be nice…run hard and be nice…)

Reply

I think my favourite running mantra might be “if you feel this (or ‘if it hurts’), it means you’re alive”. Weird, I know, but I am so grateful to be able to run and I consider myself lucky that I’m able to occasionally go out and test my lungs and challenge my legs and feel the air rushing past me… it’s the best way to feel alive :)

A mixture of 7 different cereals for breakfast! I love mixing lots of different kinds together!

my running mantra is the same ‘i can do hard things’ when i heard you say it, it really stuck with me. i don;’t find running a natural or eay thing for me at all and i am really slow. this often discourages me from committing to distances and when i run that is what i think ‘i can do hard things too’. I have just done my first ever half marathon in 2:34:50 and loved it.

Reply

My running mantra is “My Body is Stronger Than I Think” – this really helps because sometimes I let my mind get the best of me and this reminds me that my body can do much more than I think it can. I have exercise induced asthma so that makes it harder to run sometimes because my lungs aren’t as strong as my muscles but sometimes all it takes is one quick puff of my inhaler and I’m good to go to finish the run.
And my favorite month is December. I live in FL and work at Disney so it’s the most magical time of year down here. It finally gets a little cooler and nothing can beat the decorations around Walt Disney World at Christmas time – there are trees and lights and gingerbread everywhere!
