I haven’t owned a cat in almost 20 years, but her name was Jupiter. I brought her inside as a stray in a January blizzard and she had kittens in my media cabinet the next day. My sister had one of the kittens until just a year ago!

I hope my kid sleeps. Haha. My three week old loves to stay awake all day. Makes it so hard to do anything like go to the bathroom. At least he sleeps at night.

I usually buy Costco’s whole wheat, but we make our own whole wheat with seeds and raisins sometimes. It’s SO good!

We have a Dori kitty. My husband swears he hates cats but the youngest kiddo begged and he gave him for the rescue kitty. We adore her.

I’ve recently discovered honey wheat bread from the Great Harvest Bread Co. They use basic ingredients and no preservatives. Their pastries are delicious too. I’m craving a pumpkin cinnamon chip scuffin right now!

5 words about my plan for the day: dusting blinds with the vacuum.

My mom makes the best whole wheat bread. She grinds the wheat herself (in an electric grinder). I wish I could make bread, but all two times I’ve tried have ended in failure. As in, I was afraid I would develop TMJ, the bread was so hard.

I’m allergic to cats. And yet I married someone whose mom has 8 indoor felines. Yes, he’s quite the lucky guy.

My brother-in-law and his wife have a gorgeous black cat named Kemba. He has some of the kindest eyes for a cat! He’s named after UConn’s Kemba Walker because he may have, um, helped lead UConn to an NCAA Championship over Kentucky (I don’t want to talk about it.) Anyway, I like this Kemba! I’m pretty allergic to cats, so unfortunately, I can’t really pet him as much as I’d like!

I am eating sweet potato right now as I read this! We have a cat named Coco and we just had a kitten show up at our door and we are thinking of naming her Butch… if we keep her.

Okay. I have been wanting to make EVERYTHING sweet potato lately, so I’ll definitely be checking out that link!!! Yum. And we have two cats- Batman and Fatty :)

We are having sweet potato turkey chili for dinner – can’t wait! My cat’s name is Eeyore. She always gets called a “he” because Eeyore is a boy’s name.

I actually wanted to name my little brother Eeyore when he was born, but my parents didn’t like that name (wonder why?) so I named my cat that instead – many years later!
