Enjoy your trail run Janae!

I’m so glad you found a coke can with your name on it ;) it’s the little things right?

This weekend I’m running with my team, then taking the pups to Chatfield to swim, and tomorrow I’m working. I need to get some blog posts ready for next day – I’m doing a huge giveaway to celebrate my blog-aversary!

It looks like you had a great evening. I love that wedding dress! Have fun running the trails today!

My Saturday plans? Hmmm…. Iright now I’m sitting in the kitchen eating breakfast and trying to decide if I want to do my workout in the rain or on the teeadmill. (There’s supposed to be a thunderstorm but I don’t want to be a wimp and not run in the rain…) haha tough decisions!

Reply

I’m supposed to run a 5k my friend bailed on (it was near her or I wouldn’t have signed up) but I’m feeling super off so we’ll see what happens. Otherwise, I want a nap:-)

Reply

Yay! You got your coke can!

Today I am going to shop for clothes for my new job then go to a family game night.

Reply

Weddings are the best! and I love your friend’s dress- so simple and classy!

I want to do trail running so bad! I think it would be better on my knees. The trails that I’m aware of are just far enough away that it’s not realistic for me to do it regularly. Sure looks fun, though!
I’m with Brooke…more apricots! I’ve dehydrated about 10 pounds this year and they’re so good!!

Reply

Heading to the gym in a bit for some cross training. Having s little calf pain since my race last weekend that I need to be gone before my 14 mile attempt tomorrow. Gotta love marathon training!
Then a wedding this evening of a college friend that will be lots of fun! I love catching up with old friends I don’t get to see often.
Tomorrow is long run and cleaning the house to get ready for an open house that our realtor set up. We need to get this place sold!

Reply

9 mile run, baptism and finally rest!

Those cupcakes look painfully delicious! My mom made cookies (I die for cookies) yesterday and I amazed myself and stuck to my #21daysnosugar! And then I gave myself the Arsenio Hall “whoop whoop whoop!” when I went to bed for resisting them. ;-)

Saturday plans….painting furniture!!! And spending time with my family. It is my last Saturday here in AZ so we might do something special…we’ll see.

Have an awesome day!!!

Can you find out where to get the red and white dress from the wedding pic? It’s the girl in the front with dark hair to the right of the bride? So cute!

Reply

Oh no! That is the one person in the picture that I don’t actually know… I will ask around and try to find out though! It is an amazing dress… I’m surprised I didn’t ask her last night:) Have a great day Janeen!

Passing up those cupcakes must have been the hardest thing ever. I don’t think I could do it–I love cupcakes too much (which is why I also served cupcakes at my wedding). Today I had a 12 mile long run (done!) and have to go to work in a little bit. Have a great Saturday!

Reply

You HAVE to try “the chocolate” at the green truck. I know you’re not doing sugar, but it’s just chocolate protein powder, so I think it’s safe :)

Reply

AHHHHHHHH that sounds amazing. Done and done. Thank you!

Reply

A trail run sounds nice. I have a short one last night. This morning heading to Red Lodge for 10 mile long run while DH trains for his very long bike ride in two weeks.

Reply

Swim class for my son, a quick run, and then maybe the beach? Not sure. Will see what the kids want to do. Maybe a trip to downtown SD to see a little. I want to start visiting historic houses in my area. I love all of their charm.

Reply

Today I’m doing the triple R’s… Rest, read blogs, run… In no particular order.

Reply

Last night I had a fitness instructor class and today I’m off to spin class and weight lifting. I’m excited to rest and catch up at home. It’s a rainy weekend here in the desert.

Love that you found a coke with your name on it. I am still looking for mine!
Enjoy that trail run. I just finished a 25 mile bike ride and plan to spend my afternoon at a yoga workshop!

I am really starting to love trail runs – hope you have a great run!

My Saturday so far has been a group trail run and relaxing at home. No real plans for the rest of the day, just the way I like it! :)

Reply

13.1 mile training run. Shave 26 seconds/mile from the same distance 2 weeks ago. Starting to get serious about training again!

Reply

off topic, but Brooke’s hair by the apricot tree – how cute!

Totally reminds me when my girls were small, my MIL said “the girls are so cute” and my husband replied “they’re practically all hair”.

Reply

Heading up Millcreek right now. Had to work until 9:30am so I didn’t get out before it was too hot. I love the trail. Really works those glutes going uphill!
Then a nap, of course…and work tomorrow!

Reply

Wow that smoothie is really making me miss my blender right now.. put mango in anything and I’m all over it!
Also, are those lulu shorts recent? Their speed short is my favourite!

Reply

Just did my longest run every of 9.5 miles. I am in awe of how far my body can take me. Wow.
God has blessed me with a healthy body. The least I can do now is praise him for it.
Now I am off to work after reading some of my favorite blogs! That is that!
Blessings,
Hannah

I had 7 miles on the schedule for my half training, and did that on the dreadmill, then I also had a green smoothie (as did V). Mine was a tropical detox and V’s was Green Mango. So delish! Then we headed to a local amusement type of Chucky Cheese. They were having a sale on the bumper cars/laser tag, etc. Each were 99 cents, which is a steal! So we spent more time there than I was expecting. I am hoping for a nap shortly.

Reply

I got out and did my long run this morning and then played “water girl” for my husband on his 20 mile run after that. Now we are relaxing and I am pretty sure grabbing Mexican later. YUM!!

Reply

My Saturday plans include sorting and washing clothes for my church’s Back to School clothing drive. I was sporting some rubber gloves. HAHA thankfully only one pair of undies in all the garbage bags I went through.

I also got a workout in. Trying to decide if I want to drag all three kids out for shopping or just wait until after church tomorrow. Hubby is working all weekend. Boo.

Reply

Saturday plans: fasted morning cardio (running + HIIT), shove my face, and then PM lifting sesh.

It looks like that woman is smashing her face into the cupcakes in that picture!

Reply

I want an apricot tree!! And a pear tree, and a cherry tree, and pretty much all the fruit trees, haha:)

Reply

A bit of weights this am & a couple miles to see how my achilles handles two days in a row of running. Hope it’s not tight tomorrow morning!!

Then grocery shopping, cleaning, & organizing so I’m ready for the kids first day of school Monday! Lots of lunches & snacks to pack!

Brooke’s hair is sooooo long!! I didn’t recognize her!! Precious!!

Reply

My Saturday plans were to include running during soccer practice for my 7yo. I ran (4.3 mi)…but was not happy about it, so I went out for another 6 later. Never done that before. It felt pretty invigorating! Rest of my night will include being sure to not step on any Legos that have now consumed my living room floor…and entertaining my son & his friend who is spending the night. Making pizza…made homemade chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches, too!!

Enjoy your weekend!

Reply

I need to find a place where I can get a green smoothie every day…yours looks awesome! This weekend is very chill. Today involved a little bit of running errands and mostly sitting in front of the TV. Tomorrow we’re going to church, and then I should probably get some studying done (boo!). Hope your trail run went well!

Reply

P.S. I went the entire day without dessert. I don’t even know who I am anymore!! It’s so hard not to grab some chocolate after dinner, but I definitely feel better today and will hopefully be able to do the same thing tomorrow :)

Reply

I just love those Coke Cans. My favorite is the one that says “Buddy”. That wedding looked fantastic with a wonderful cake! We are celebrating my daughters 6th birthday tomorrow!

Reply

O wow!!! Brooke’s hair is getting so long! And your highlights look great :)

How on earth did she find a Janae one? That is quite amazing! So far I’ve only seen a can with ONE of the names in our family on it.

Reply

Brooke’s hair is so long! How was your trail run? My Saturday was spent first at the Farmer’s Market selling, then the bank, then dinner with my hubby for our anniversary . It was a good day :)

Looks like a fun wedding/day!

Brooke’s hair is getting out of control long! I love it, such a doll!
