Reebok SkyScape Giveaway!!!!

Reebok sent me some crazy comfortable shoes…  The SkyScapes.  I have been wearing them all around town and on all of our walks.

The SkyScapes are beyond comfortable.  They are super flexible and they fit perfectly to my feet.  They are also machine washable (which is perfect because I tend to spill everything I come in contact with).

They come in a ton of fun colors (grey, purple, pink fusion, blue peak and black with pink or white)…  they also come with two different colors of shoelaces so that you can switch them around if you want.

The SkyScapes are only 5.0 ounces but they are still super supportive and my feet feel great after walking around in them all day long.

They feel so much different than any of my other walking type shoes and I think it is because of the foam material on the upper portion of the shoe, I love it.  My foot feels like it is getting hugged by a pillow all day.   Stylish & comfortable all in one shoe.

Hands down favorite exercise is running! I don’t think there could be anything better!

I am a long time (began in 1970s) long distance walker! I didn’t own a car in those days, and literally walked everywhere (miles and miles). Living in the
Boston area growing up, my neighborhood was a “walking neighborhood”. Even with cars in the household, my family and neighbors tended to walk to
the local stores and shop, rather than taking the car.
It is still my favorite form of exercise, although now I am more limited physically due to repeated ankle sprains, and an ankle impact injury a number of years ago. All the sport requires is a good pair of walking, or running type of shows, comfortable clothing, and lightweight carrying bags, a bottle of COLD water, and the will to begin. It all starts with the mind and the
WILL TO DO SOMETHING better and bigger. It is euphoric and one “gets out of one’s own way and mind, and lets the body go and take over to achieve
greater peace of mind AND spirit. It all begins with just one step………then
another and another. Next thing you know you can’t get enough of it. The
walking “high” is simply sublime. On my very worst of days, walking has
cleared my mind, improved my mood, and led me to achieve better things as
a result. NOTHING is impossible is the NEW AND IMPROVED walking
mindset. Take a chance, take a walk.

Right now (and the past 6 months) I have been really into breakdancing (or bboying as it’s called in the breaking community). I’ve been taking lessons and it’s wicked fun and quite a strength and endurance workout that doesn’t necessarily feel like a workout because I’m so focused. You should try it. :) Great giveaway!

It’s a tie between running and weight lifting for me! They each give my body and soul different things that I need equally. Running gives me the escape, endorphins, and mental challenge. And lifting makes me feel so strong – not just physically, but it makes me feel like I can tackle the rest of my life. Just the other day I found out that I can do real, unassisted pullups (6 in a row!!) and I just felt so great for the rest of the day.

Never thought I would say this, but running is my favorite form of exercise now! This time last year I wouldn’t have even been able to run a quarter mile. It’s still slow going for me but I’m doing 5ks and I feel fantastic.

RUNNING!!! Sadly, about half way through this pregnancy (#4) I had to stop because after every run my hips were killing me. Now, my favorite thing is swimming. But my heart still aches as I get into my car in the morning to head to the pool when I just want to take off down the sidewalk and run.
