1. Follow dogs of Instagram for daily pictures of adorable dogs. I found them a little while ago and it has changed my life. How could the cutest dog pics not make you happy?!?
2. Of course, RUN (unless it is windy). Or do some form of exercise that gives you endorphins and makes you sweat.
3. Buy this. NOW. Costco.
4. Get into your pajamas by 6 pm. Comfort= happiness. We are living proof of this yesterday.
5. Spend AT LEAST 20 minutes outside today.
6. Buy a song that you have a lot of good memories associated with and listen to it on repeat in your car. I downloaded an Alanis Morisette song (Head Over Feet) because back when my sister was in high school and I was in elementary school I thought I was SOOOOO cool driving around with her while listening to this song. It is just automatic happiness for me. This song will always remind me of my sister.
7. Find one of your favorite pictures in the whole wide world and make it your phone wallpaper right this second.

8. Eat at a restaurant that brings out delicious bread baskets for free. Scientific studies prove that carbs make people happy. So does a tenderloin salad.
9. See your runner friends in a setting other than at 5 a.m. on the running trail.
10. So I thought that this one would make me happy but it actually made me unhappy… watch Juan Pablo on the Bachelor. I kept telling myself that I wouldn’t watch the finale but then I went ahead and watched the last 10 minutes of it. Bad decision. It made me angry. But my snack plate made me happy.

Ah how did I not know about that dogs of instagram account? Too cute. I wonder what other animals they have of instagram…I don’t know if I really want to know. I remember tagging one of my photos “roosters of instagram”.
My favorite salad combination is steak and blue cheese with pita bread on the side. (It’s a pretty common staple at the NJ diners…). Salmon is good too but it must come with pita bread LOL.

I watched the Bachelor too and it made me furious! He’s such a jerk (on top of being so dull all season long). I continued to get mad watching “After the Final Rose” and seeing Nikki just sit there and make goo goo eyes at him….um hello, did you not just watch the season and see what an *ss he was?! Ugh.

I am getting my endorphins by walking to my hair appointment. I haven’t had my hair cut in an entire year and can’t wait to get it chopped off and semi-normal looking. I’ve literally worn it in a ponytail every day for a 10 months. And yes, I have a real job where I work in an office and still wear it in a ponytail.
I don’t follow many random Instagram accounts but I just started following 2sisters_angie (#fashionby mayhem), the little girl that makes dresses out of tissue paper. It is so fun to see all her creations! I also follow CDCgov – because I’m a public health dork.

Not that it really matters but, I kind of liked the Bachelor. Parts of it any way.
I felt the finale kind of attacked him too. After all, Chris kept wanting him to say he loved her when why should he? So many others have done so and looked where they ended up? Chris kept saying “Its a show JP signed up for so the public wants to know what will happen next” Hello???? All the ladies have to remember that too! It was a show they signed up for….just because it didn’t turn out the way they would have liked oh well, that’s reality TV.
And do we really need to know what they are going to do next? No. They signed up for the show. The show is over. Let them be. But, I do seem to be in the minority with my views. Oh well, nothing new. ha!

So…I LOVE Alanis. Her first album was one of those compilation of songs that really felt like they were all written about me at the time. I knew every song by heart.
About 3 months after I saw her in concert in 2010, I was running this fun little marathon in Susanville, CA called the Bizz Johnson (about 200 runners). Guess who was there running her first marathon? YES! Alanis (and her twin brother, Wes). I have a picture with us at the finish line. She was so very gracious.
Anyway, I was pained watching The Bachelor this season. I started out liking JP, but by the end I couldn’t figure out who would ever want to be with the guy. I think Andi will make a good Bachelorette. My MIL had never seen the show and we got her hooked on this season. She’s a psychologist and finds the whole thing to be fascinating.

And I have never watched the Bachelor, any of the seasons. And I don’t think I want to. However, I watch a lot of other reality TV shows like Total Divas, Kardashians, Eric and Jesse, Rich Kids of Beverly Hills, basically all shows on E!, etc. So those aren’t any better!
