I had really delicious food last night and the usual ramblings.

My sister nailed yet again another meal.  Chicken burritos, salad and grapes.   She has the magic touch.

After dinner we played Settlers of Catan.  We really need to stop being so cool.

IMG 8182

That bottom left donut was all mine.  Nothing like a donut at midnight.

IMG 8184

Speaking of donuts, below is a picture from a very good friend of mine.  We have many of the same opinions in life.

ANYTHING.

Time for the random.

1.  Have you ever bought just the pomegranate seeds?  These little packs of them are our favorite snacks lately.   Brooke is hooked.

IMG 8005

2.  My brother is a pilot and yesterday he had LOCKE FROM LOST on his plane.

IMG 8180

3.  Curly’s clip-on earrings that she refuses to take off.

4.  I wonder if I will ever grow out of loving glitter?!?

5.  Because every post needs a cute picture of Brooke.  It’s just the rule on this blog.

6.  I love getting emails like this one:

EVERY EPISODE, EVERY SEASON, THREE TIMES EACH. Lost is easily my favorite show that ever hit cable television. My sophomore year of high school my mom took me and a friend to San Francisco to meet James Lafferty (Nathan!) from One Tree Hill. I still have the autographed picture framed and in my bedroom. ;)

I tried watching Lost… I really did. But it just went on and on and on…

Last boardgame must’ve been Mousetrap! Did anyone else ever play that?

I think I must somehow prevent famous people from being anywhere near me. I never meet / see them…

I love your nails!!
Up in Park City I saw Dennis Rodman and Billy Corrigan but my life was truly complete when I saw Eddie Vedder! He was like 4 feet tall and could fit in my pocket but my 16 year old heart was smitten. I still love him to this day!

Reply

My husband made us watch every.single.episode of Lost on Netflix over the course of a summer. I started not paying attention or napping and got to the point I had no clue what was going on. Ok just me or would you be a little weirded out having him on a plane lol?? Just because of what happened on his show to his plane.

I don’t know why but I don’t like pomegranate seeds!! I really wanted to like them and have tried multiple times but I don’t :(

Reply

I love that game! It’s just hard to find others to play it with me.
I began watching Lost recently and so far so good.
I met some cool musicians in my past…love musicians!!!

Reply

your nails are so cool! i think it’s time i splurge on a mani. thanks for the inspiration.

I watched the first 2 seasons of Lost and gave up in disgust. I tried to convince the rest of my family that I didn’t think the writers even knew what was going on. It took a couple more seasons for them to agree with me. Wow, a pilot is a cool job! And Brooke is always adorable. I’ve never had a pomegranate seed but they look yummo. No-one super famous. Cate Blanchett lives very close to where I live but I seem to be the only one who hasn’t seen her around.

We loved Lost. Went to Oahu and found the planes broken in half on one of the beaches. We had to take pictures of us looking “lost” in front of it. While we were in our hotel there, they we’re filming Soul Surfer and we ran on treadmills with Hercules, Kevin Sorbo, who happened to be in the movie and we saw Bethany Hamilton at the beach.

The game we have loved lately is telestrations.

Reply

Grapes make any meal better. I think concord grapes the best myself. Did you do your nails yourself or get them done? I am loving them!

As far as anyone famous dad and I met Ashanti. He was in the military and they had VIP tickets for military to her concert…well we got front row tickets and then got to meet her afterwords. HA.

Reply

Love the nails. I am all about glitter lately too. And I am all about anyone else’s chocolate as well.

Reply

We had to wait until 13 to get our ears pierced.

Alias was even better than LOST. I once met Zach Braff… he was very casual and seemed to not know that he was famous.

Reply

I met Zach Braff too! In a fro-yo shop of all places.

Reply

I loved Lost! That’s so cool that your brother met that actor!

Reply

Oooooo, I would be nervous with Locke on board! I loved Lost but then they changed the channel it was aired on in the UK so I missed the last (and probably most important) series!!

Reply

I love your nails, I love sparkles…everyone should wear them.

I met Princess Diana in Martha’s Vineyard about a year before her death.

Reply

Your nails look amazing! And you literally cannot go wrong with donuts…

The last board game I played was Carcasonne, which is really similar to Settlers of Catan. And my ears are pierced. I got that done at about 8 years old.

Reply

I really have never met anyone famous but hope to in my life time! LOVE your nails!! I wish I didn’t bite mine all the time so I could paint them pretty things :)

Reply

I have had my ears pierced since I was 4 and they are crooked. I am such a perfection and complain about them all the time. My husband said the other day that he couldn’t believe that I never just got them repierced, but I never actually thought about it. The last board game I okayed was Candyland with my son. He’s 6 and said “Mommy, I’m gonna smoke you” and he did… twice.

Love the glitter nails! I need to get fancy like that.

I did watch every season of Lost. Was rather obsessed. Now I’m obsessed with Walking Dead and I’m telling you its just like Lost.

Got my ears pierced in the 8th grade! Late bloomer! But now I must have at least studs in or else I feel like a boy.

Happy hump day Janae!

Reply

I didn’t get my ears pierced until I was almost 15, and got my 2nd holes done 3 years later. I love donuts!!!

Reply

Got my ears pierced at 8! I’ve met a decent amount of famous people, mostly athletes but also John Stamos, Teri Hatcher, Meg Ryan and a few more. Usually in airports haha.

Reply

Getting my ears pierced was reserved for my 10th birthday. 10 was the age deemed “responsible” enough to take care of earrings, etc.

I’ve met Mario Batali and the cast of the Chew… I won a dream date with Mario! It was Ahhhmazing. Also, I met Dan Quail when I was 5. True story.

Reply

I have met lots of celebs for my job…but I would live to have met J.Locke! I was a huge Lost fan in the beginning but then lost interest. Might have to go back and finish it on Netflix. ..

I’ve had my ears pierced since I was a little kid, but I honestly hardly ever wear earrings. If I do, its usually only for half a day because they make my ears hurt.

I also love your nails! I don’t usually do mine bcuz I ruin them…lol. I’m a huge fan of pedicures though! Happy Wednesday! :-)

Reply

I got my ears pierced the first week I went to college. My new friends couldn’t believe I did not have them pierced and off we went.

Reply

I noticed your nails in a previous post and loveeee them. I’ve met a few celebs but mostly sports players. Although I was at a ski lift once and saw Will and Jada Smith and enjoyed a nice laugh when one of the guys with them tumbled getting off the ski lift :)

Reply

My family loves Catan! We always play whenever my siblings are visiting! :)
That’s so cool that your brother got a picture with John Locke! :) And I like his caption on the photo. :)

Reply

Did you have someone do that manicure or is it a DYI/Pinterest job? I recently tried to do polka dots on my Valentine’s Day nails and ended up with yucky looking purplish blobs.

Reply

Loving those glitter nails! I’m pretty sure I’m older than you and I’m rockin the glitter too!

Reply

That’s so cool that your brother met John Locke!!!! I loved that show. I still haven’t decided if I liked the ending or not, though :/

I used to have those sticker earrings as a kid before my ears were pierced. I bet your niece would love those.

I met Martin Sheen on an 8th grade field trip to DC during his West Wing days (no one knew who he was but our teachers had us all shake his hand and take photos, ha). I also met Corbin Bleu from HS Musical and Countess Luann from RHONY when I loved there for a summer. Fun times!

P.S. Love your mani! Is it gel?

Reply

One of these days, I’m going to sit down and watch Lost. I never tried to get into it! Although considering that the whole premise of the show starts with a plane crash, I think I’d be a little nervous to have one of the cast members on a plane with me…

Reply

Yum! Pomegranate seeds are sooo good. They are pretty easy to clean too. I love going to my sisters to eat. For Some reason her food just tastes better.
I love Brooke’s she’s soo cute.

Reply

Oh my gosh I love that game! Haha, I’m a super nerd so its okay. The extensions make the game even more fun ;)

I was 4 when I got my first ear piercing…then again at 14 and 18.

Reply

Never watched Lost and I’ve never met anyone famous :( I went to the French Open (tennis) with my family in high school and one of the Bryan brothers signed my hat so I guess that counts!

My ears are pierced and I got them pierced when I was 5!

The last board game I played was Scrabble with my husband last week when we were snowed in and couldn’t go to work! I love board games! Oh and we played Apples to Apples at our friends house during the snow storm too!

Reply

That nail polish is so pretty! You can never go wrong with some sparkles — adding glitter to a day only makes it better. :)

I’ve actually met quite a few famous people — Kelly Clarkson, Kristin Chenoweth, and a good portion of the General Hospital cast are among my favorites!!

I was in kindergarden I think when I got my ears pierced. I remember being really excited to go for my birthday.
Your nails look Soo good!!

Reply

I got them pierced in 4th grade, my ears got terribly infected, it was painful, I was scarred for life (think Stephanie Tanner’s experience on Full House minus Gibler doing the piercing, I wasn’t that stupid), and so now I go through life with nothing pierced. Since I have rarely thought, “Oh yes I’d love to hang jewelery from my ears!” I think it turned out just fine.

Reply

I was 2 or 3 when I got mine pierced, one of the best decisions my parents made, because had I waited I probably would have wimped out haha. Love Settlers!! That game is the best, I could play it all day long. Never met anyone, but last summer by boyfriend saw Angelina Jolie and her kids at the LAX airport. Love your nails btw!!

Reply

Both my daughter’s had their ears pierced at 5 months. I have met several celebrities and I have coordinated several Celebrity Chef events for Anthony Bourdain, Iron Chef Morimoto, Jaime and Bobby Deen and Martin Yan. Hung out with them all day. Very cool.

My ears are pierced and I git then when I was 12.
Most recently I met Donald Faison who played Turk on Scrubs and saw Ethan Hawke from a distance all while on the same trip.
My middle son & In just played Yahtzee. He killed me :)

I would love to know how you did your nails!

Love, love, love LOST! It was and still is a fave show of mine. I was in mourning when it ended. Kind of left me hanging. :(

I got my ears pierced when I was 3. And I almost ended up with only one earring. They did them one at a time.

Have a great day!

Reply

I was on the plane with Benjamin Bratt (the love interest in the first Miss Congeniality and also Addison’s second husband in Private Practice). He was with his beautiful wife and his daughter. I also met Nelly once at the mall. I’ve never been a huge fan, but I was completely starstruck. So weird.

I am 35 and still love anything sparkly!

Curly is a cutie. And Brooke is adorable in her IKAT leggings!

Thanks for starting my day with a smile!

I have never watched Lost–gasp! Although I think I may make it my next series to watch. I’m flying through everything else these days with this long grueling cold winter.

I had my ears pierced… 7 times. doubles in each side, two in cartilege, & my tragus. And I think it’s been years since I wore an earring, thanks to the military.

Cards against Humanity isn’t a board game but it’s the best game ever!

Reply

Okay…true story.
I do not have the same sister that you do…clearly.
Growing up my sister wasn’t exactly known for showing the love. So when her and her girlfriend said, “we’re going to pierce our ears!! Do you want to join us??” I felt included and excited she no longer hated me! I was very young and very naive. In fact…they didn’t know if it would work…to put an ice cube on their ears and shove a needle through.
It did. They tried it on me first.
A week later, their ears both got wicked infected and closed. I’m 46. Those puppies have been kickin’ for 31 years. ;) God really does have a sense of humor.

Reply

i’m late to the game, but i’m currently watching lost! (season 4) sooooo cool about your brother!!!!!!!!!!! omg freaking out.

and your nails are just beyond. love love love ’em.

I love Settlers of Catan and LOST. This post is right up my alley.

I bumped into Oprah when I was in high school. I was actually working at an event she was hosting and a picture of me and her was printed on the cover of the LA Times. I was just standing behind her… but still. I was the only other one in the picture! Totally counts. I also used to serve Mr. Feeny from Boy Meets World gelato all the time at a place I worked.

Reply

LOCKE! that’s so cool! I totally would’ve taken a picture too.

Reply

I loved Lost in thr beginning, but then I thoight it got kind of weird and I lost interest. I still had to finish the series although it was way after it actually ended and I still don’t get it.
My dad made me wait until I was 8 to pierce my ears. Now I rarely wear earrings.
I met NSYNC when I was a sophomore in high school. They were here filming Touched by an Angel. Also met OJ Simpson on a ski vacation with the fam. He has a huge head. Like literally so big.

Reply

How cool! I love lost! On another note, I didn’t know people outside of Wisconsin played Settlers. My husband and his group of friends all LOVE that game. I am not big into games so that was a new one for me when I moved here a few years ago.

Reply

Those donuts look DIVINE! Sending lots of love from Minnesota, as always. <3

Evan will eat a whole container of those pomegranate seeds in one sitting. The first few times I bought them at Costco this season (back in November) they tasted like finger nail polish remover though. I took them back it was so bad.

Can’t decide what it better…Curly’s awesome style with those earrings or her pose. Must a be a winning combo. I had my ears pierced at 3, as did both my sisters, and that is when they got their girl’s ears pierced too. I figure I will wait until Anna asks.

I have never seen Lost. It was on back in the day when Ross and I didn’t have TV. Then when we got TV we were so far behind. We still plan on watching it…someday.

My kids love board/card games. It is fun that we can actually play some that are a little more grown up together. Their favorite is Monopoly. I played for 2 hrs with Evan a couple of weeks ago. My 4 yr old was legitimately beating me too. That game never ends.

I have mostly met famous dancers no one knows from my dancing days. Like a few of the choreographers from SYTYCD. I have met Twitch and have a picture with him. Oh and the cast of Roswell. lol. I know that surprises you ;)

Reply

I’ve never seen Lost, not even one episode. Maybe when I finish the last season of Dexter and I need something to fill the gap while waiting on Orange is the New Black, I’ll check out Lost.

And, if you ever wanna play scrabble I am your girl! I am a scrabble fanatic and I kill that game.

Reply

I watched the first season of Lost religiously, but the second season I got way behind and finally gave up and deleted a pile of episodes from the DVR and never went back.

Got my ears pierced 35 years ago next week (for my 10th birthday) … after 5 years of begging! Then both my younger sisters got to do it at like 7 or 8 … the first child always has to blaze the trail.

I’ve been backstage at a few country music concerts and met Rascal Flatts, Brooks & Dunn, and John Michael Montgomery, and I stood next to Tim Daly on the subway at SeaTac Airport one time. But the best was when I was still a news reporter and my hero Steve Largent of my beloved Seattle Seahawks was a Congressman and came to town for a political fundraiser and I got to interview him. He is quite possibly the nicest human being on the planet!

Reply

Luckily for my daughter, we don’t have the same taste in candy! I am all about the Sour Patch Kids. I will eat those until my mouth bleeds. And then eat some more.

Reply

Fun Lost story: my family and I were on a trip to Oahu and were driving around back roads (we don’t do the typical tourist thing) and all of a sudden there was luggage and plane pieces laying around everywhere. We were kinda freaked/weirded out. We saw a guy standing on the side of the road, so my dad stopped and asked him what was going on and he said it was a set for this new show coming out. It was Lost.

Reply

Don’t ever change..glitter still makes me happy and I am 31..:)

Reply

Personally, I will never grow out of loving glitter ;) Christian LOVES games like “Settlers of Catan” and “Risk”. I don’t know, I guess I’m not smart enough because I cannot figure out how to play that game! Haha!

Reply

Got my ears pierced in freshman year in high school, and then another pair on the earlobe when I was a senior in high school.
I’m thinking of getting the cartilage pierced… but I’m scurred.

Reply

So true – half the candy is for me.

I love settlers, I never win because my entire family are game crazies and although I’m a very competitive person I severely lack the foresight to plan ahead.

Reply

John Locke! Lost is the best show ever!

Reply

AHHHHHHH! I love LOST!!! That is awesome.
That donut is awesome too.

totally the best part of Halloween is raiding the kids’ bags after they go to bed. I’ve gotta eat all of the peanut butter cups before they do!!!

Reply

Love, love, loved Lost. So sad when it ended.

My ears are pierced, but I got them late. I think I was about to go into middle school when my mom let me.

The last board game that I played is more of a card game. Cards Against Humanity…I saw that you like that game too on your birthday post. :) It is so fun and so wrong at the same time!!!

Reply

i love your glitter nails! i might attempt to paint my nails like that, although they probably won’t look nearly as pretty.

i’m not a big fan of donuts (please don’t hold it against me ;)), but now i’m craving donuts after reading this post!

Reply

1) I love glitter, too. 2) Curly could be a model! She has STYLE.

Reply

I love eating pomegranate seeds! They make for such good snacks!

Quirkle is the last board game I played…awesome game!!! That and Dutch Blitz..I played it for the first time the other day and it is great! :) I cannot remember for the life of me when I got my ears pierced…but my kids were going into kindergarten :)

Do they make Brooke’s leggings in my size? She’s so stylish.

Oh my gosh, CUTE nails!! I will never ever grow out of loving glitter either :) I sparkle when I workout, not sweat, hahahaha.

My child/children will so be like that at halloween. Can’t wait tip baby girl is old enough to get candy for me so I don’t look like a weirdo adult taking candy from strangers! hah

I’ve actually run into a lot of celebrities living in Chicago. Lots of Chicago sports players, Lady Gaga, Jeremy Piven, David Schwimmer, Vince Vaughn, Oprah.

But my best celebrity sighting was I sat next to Mr. T at a restaurant and then when leaving the restaurant I ran into Jennifer Aniston. LOL!

Reply

I didn’t even know you could buy…..just the pomegranate seeds!! I LOVE pomegranates! I will be looking for the seeds at every store I go to now! Also…I LOVE your nails!

Reply

I got my ears pierced when I was 13. I then discovered that my body doesn’t like metal, so my ears aren’t pierced any more. I don’t think there’s a need to “grow out” of glitter–glitter is fabulous at any age!

Reply

I went to school at Pepperdine which is in Malibu so we saw celebrities all.the.time! Some of the really cool ones were Matthew McConaughey, Owen Wilson, and Adam Sandler but my absolute favorite was Dick Van Dyke (the guy from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang & Mary Poppins)! He was the sweetest and took the time to talk to us at the grocery store! :)

Reply

Never had my ears pierced. I have a difficult time just figuring out an outfit to wear everyday, let alone coordinating earings with it.

I’ve met Elizabeth Smart, does she count? I’ve served a few members of the 12, are they famous?

LOVE LOST! Why isn’t there a Lost-like show on anymore? However, I am glad Sully is back on TV with Intelligence.

Last board game I played was Ticket to Ride; I love that game. Settlers is awesome too! I love the Cities and Knights expansion.

Have you ever approached your sister with the idea of doing a giveaway for one of her dinners? They always sound soooooo good.

Reply

omg now all I want in life is a chicken burrito

It’s so cool that your brother flew Locke, and I love his caption on the picture! I watched Lost until the last two seasons and keep meaning to watch those on Netflix. I could watch it in the mornings while on my elliptical or bike, but will have to wait until I’ve finished the new release of House of Cards!

Reply

I had my ears pierced when I was 7 or 8, but was allergic to everything, got an infection and took them out. I have little marks, but the holes are closed in the middle and I’m too chicken to get them redone hahaha

And I met Fall Out Boy six or seven years ago. They’re my favorite band ever and I may or may not have cried. Ok, I cried.

Reply

So jealous of your brother, Lost is one of my all time favorite shows! I’ve never met a famous person, I once walked right past Donald Trump when I was in NYC. Also a few times I’ve encountered some 49er players (I live in the Bay Area). But that’s it.

I got my ears pierced around age 7 or 8. My 7 yr old daughter has been asking so we might do hers soon.

Last board game we played was scattegories, we always have a lot of laughs playing that game!

Reply

Donuts are good anytime! Why can’t they be healthy & low in calories though? Another blogger I read recently posted about baking donuts. Interesting. My ears were pierced when I was 5. Don’t even remember it.

Reply

I got my ears pierced for my 6th birthday. I’d been begging. I’ve never watched Lost. I’ve met several famous people. Juliette Binoche’s daughter was in my son’s class while she was on location shooting Bee Season with Richard Gere. She and I actually had conversations, but I’m sure she doesn’t remember. One of my close friends is the daughter of a famous, older actor and half-sister of another actor so I’ve hung out with them at birthday parties and such. When I used to work retail I several times helped the lady who was the voice of Lisa Simpson and also helped Alice Waters who was a total snobby wench. And then there was the time I kinda jumped Fidel Castro…

Reply

I got my ears pierced when I was 2, then I got a second set when I turned 12, and I got the third set and a cartridge piercing when I turned 18.
Last weekend my friends and I played Trivial Pursuit (the 1996 or 97 version). I am soooo terrible at it, but my fiance kicks some serious butt!

Reply

I got my ears pierced when I was 2 and my second holes when I was 13. :)

If I were a pilot I would be absolutely terrified if Locke was on my plane!!
I would also not have watched lost if I were a pilot because thats way to scary. I already cant even imagine ever visiting Australia because of it.

Reply

Josh Holloway who played Sawyer on Lost brings his dog to the animal hospital where I work, all the women here fight over who gets to help him each time ;)

My parents didn’t let me get my ears pierced till high school., it was the source of many arguments haha

Reply

Ummmmm can you tell me where you work so I can come in;)

Ooh I love your nails – so pretty!

Loved Lost, it was not like me to get that involved in a tv show. I hated the ending, biggest disappointment in my tv life.
I have had the fortune of meeting a few famous people, but tops on my list is Bart Yasso from Runner’s World.
Off subject, Peep’s are out!!!!

Reply

OMGosh! Your nails are super cute!! I love them!!

Reply

We love playing Settlers! I’m terrible at strategy games and this one is no different, I think I’ve won once. Still so fun though!
When I was about 5, we were on a plane to Disney World, and we met Henry Winkler’s (Fonzie) publicist…I’ve also met the Monkees on a cruise ship years ago. Big timin’, I know :)

Reply

I’m a huge Lost fan so I would have loved to be on that plane! I’ve seen every season three times. More for some episodes. That’s a lot of time spent watching Lost. And I sat across the room from Katie Holmes at a brunch place when she was filming a movie in my city. I didn’t walk up to her, though.

Reply

UM YES me too please!!!!! I started out loving Jack…but then as the show went on I was 100% Sawyer…haha.

Reply

Can you tell us how you did your nails pretty please? I bought some glitter polish and it is HORRIBLE.

I love your nails! Are they gels? I have my ears pierced and got them when I was 6- my parents let my sister and I get ours pierced when we asked for them.

Reply

I love your nails! Makes me want to go and get mine done :) I never watched Lost but the rest of my family was obsessed with that show ha. My mom pierced my ears when I was a little under a year old, and I am so glad that she did because I don’t remember the pain at all and I love wearing earrings :)

did you do your own nails?! they look soooo cute!

We like to play headbands after dinner. We don’t own the game, just make-up our own categories and use post-its.

I actually have my ears pierced 4 times ( once in the cartilage) but funnily enough I hardly ever wear earrings. I think only 2 of the holes are still open. I’m not sure when I got my first ear piercing, but I got my daughters pierced at 11 months.

Reply

I got my ears pierced when I was 9, my mom made me wait until I wasa 9 because that’s how old she was when she got hers pieced. Weird logic, but it worked!

I met Jerry Springer when I was in Las Vegas for my birthday. He was just chilling in the pool at Bally’s which was pretty hilarious!

Last game I played (not a board game) was cards against humanity. I won it at a white elephant exchange over the holidays and it is just too fun.

Reply

I’ve met a lot of famous people: George Bush Sr, Laura Bush, Georgina Bloomberg (Mayor Michael Bloomberg of NYC’s daughter), Jill Rappaport (from the Today Show), have been pretty up close (not personal) with Kellt Ripa and Lara Flynn Boyle, and I met Jerry Seinfeld’s wife and daughter, but I can’t say where or they might have their bodyguard hunt me down and hurt me (jk). I know there’s others, but too many to count. Because of my line of work, I meet celebrities a lot. They no longer seem like a big deal to me…they’re just people, like everyone else.

Reply

I used to live on Nantucket Island and met Senator John Kerry, Michael J. Fox, Katie Couric, Steven Tyler (from Aerosmith), Meg Ryan and the owner of the Indianapolis Colts. I got my ears pierced when I was 7 and last board game played was Risk. I always lose though. Haha

You had an awesome day and your nails look great.

I’m trying to think of what famous people I’ve met, but unless celebrities at the wax museum count, I’m coming up with zero.

LOVE LOST! I watched every episode, and half the time I didn’t know what was going on…but the mystery of it all kept me coming back! I don’t even really know what happened at the end, but oh well.
I recently got my ears double pierced a few years ago on a whim, I love getting to wear 2 sets of earrings!

I LOVE your nails!! I have never watched a single episode of Lost.

Not too many celebrities stop by Nebraska… but I met Kellie Pickler after a concert and took a picture with her. I felt like a giant standing next to her!

I’m loving pomegranate seeds right now! My dad is a hairdresser for TV shows/movies, so I’ve met quite a few celebrities. It’s always really exciting!

Yes I watched Lost. faithfully, and I WANT MY LIFE BACK creators of LOST! the ending was so awful and felt like a slap in the face for watching all those years.
Your brother is freaking adorable with his big smile,. HE looks like the happiest guy. I love that!

My ears are pierced but I can’t wear earrings anymore. They hurt my ears too much. It saves my husband from having to buy me expensive earring anymore because I could only wear gold for a while. Now I can’t wear anything at all but that’s ok. I was 12 when I had them pierced. My mom was smart and didn’t want to deal with the crusty/infected ears she knew would follow. So she waited until I was old enough to do it myself.

Your nails look so pretty!

I still haven’t watched Lost – I’m not sure how that happened.

I got my ears pierced when I was 4. We had them done at a doctor’s office and they did them one at a time. I screamed my head off and didn’t want the second one done. Fun fact: it was the same day as the big earthquake in San Francisco in 89 (I was living in California then).

I’m too competitive to play board games. I tend to get too into them and then it isn’t any fun – so I haven’t played any in a while…

Is it actually possible to start watching Lost and NOT watch every season?? I would question those people…

Very cool about Terry O’Quinn! On a cooler note, he owns an avocado ranch (orchard? farm?) with Tom Selleck (Magnum PI) in California!

I have met several folks thru work or hanging out in Nashville: Tim McGraw (very lean, very strong hands!), Brad Paisley and his wife Kimberly Williams Paisley (Father of the Bride and According to Jim) and their two sons, Jennifer Nettles (Sugarland), Bryan White (90’s country star), Sheryl Crow, Scott Hamilton (the cool ice skater who does backflips……in the late 90’s, early 00’s), Mr. Belding from Saved by the Bell, and probably others I can’t remember. I get very starstruck, esp with country music stars! But Terry O’Quinn would be so cool to meet…..I bet he is nice.

I got my ears pierced when I was five……then a few weeks later was in a minor car accident where they had to do an xray and remove my earrings………I bawled, only bc they took my earrings out and I had to go get them re-pierced!

Ears pierced when we were babies, like several months old, don’t remember a thing. One of my sisters piercings closed up and I remember her getting it repierced when she was older and she said it hurt like heck.

Watched Lost a couple years ago when Eric and I were both over come by an evil virus that knocked us down for a week and a half. We zipped through the series. It had it’s great moments and it’s totally strange wtf moments. Overall enjoyable.

Ahh I LOVE John Locke! Such a classic show. I could go through and watch the whole series again and love it just as much. I’d love to know what he is like in real life.. he seems like such gentle soul.
PS- Obsessed with your glitter nails. I’m not usually a glitter fan but I like the “ombre” effect.

Hysterical! Zach already says our poor future kids are never going to get candy with a Mom like me. . . sad but true. Maybe I should warn them young.

I was best friends with Gracie Gold until 7th grade when she moved out of town to train. So cool to see her on tv!
