The perfect stocking stuffers for RUNNERS giveaway!

The plus and minus of not getting up when my alarm clock goes off in the morning:

Minus—>  I absolutely love getting my workout done first thing in the morning and finished before I even really realize what I am doing.  With each minute of the day that goes by I get lazier and lazier and less likely to work out.

Plus—–>  I got to run side by side on treadmills at the gym with my sister and talk the entire 8 miles.  I wish you guys got to know her in real life because you would then understand why I go on and on and on about how awesome she is.

The reason it looks like I haven’t seen the light of day for months is because I don’t think I have actually been outside in the daylight longer than running from my car to the gym in months.

Stretching and talking to my brother on the phone at the same time… multi-tasking at its finest.  She really loves it when I take pictures of her without her even knowing.

IMG 5186

I love adding spinach to my soup as it is cooking to get some move veggies in.  I also really love dipping my Wheat Thins into my soup to get some more carbs and deliciousness in.

I can totally relate to the “You know you’re a runner if…” quote! I often find myself not only looking at the forecast but the sidewalks as well! (I run on a pretty busy road so I feel 10x more comfortable running on sidewalks instead of the actual road) I can’t stand if the weather is sunny and bright out but the sidewalks look like crap!

P.S. I could really use the running gloves! We’ve gotten about 12 inches of snow total for December when usually Kentucky only sees one inch this time of year. The gloves would come in handy this winter for sure! :)

I want both – it actually does get cold in MS – and it’s a WET cold. Would love these !!

It was 19 degrees this morning when I woke up!! It was still dark and on my way to work I saw someone outside running in this! He had a pretty sweet getup on I could see him really well in the dark but holy cow dude its cold go find a treadmill! Or at least wait until the sun it up so it hopefully warms things up a bit.

I’m glad you are finding joy and peace in your new normal.

I would love some super warm gloves. I have to run with my double stroller during the week and the only place I can go with big enough sidewalks is by the water….where it’s super cold and windy! But the treadmill could never replace the fresh air!

Hey Janae!

Longtime reader who needs some help!

I entered this giveaway for the Brook’s Utopia 3-In-1 Mitten IIs! Unfortunately, luck didn’t come my way.

Anyway, I’m currently hiking the Appalachian Trail and have had NO LUCK with the waterproof gloves I currently have (ie. painfully cold fingers!!!) and was going to order this pair from Brooks but they’re currently not available. Boo :( Anyway, I thought I’d reach out to you, in case you have some kind of hook up at Brooks! See if you could put in a good word for me…. along the lines of: AT hiker with freezing cold hands in need of some ladies medium gloves/overmitts (preferably waterproof).

I would be eternally grateful! (And I don’t mind if they’re “slightly flawed/already used/etc.”)

Many, many thanks!
