I have two new favorite pictures of Brooke… Her little personality just jumps out of these pictures.
Whenever I am laying down on the ground (which is often) she loves to come over and tackle my head.
She thinks that she is absolutely hilarious whenever she sneak attacks me and she is getting pretty good at it. My other favorite part about these pictures is the fact that Curly (my nickname for my niece) took them. She is just 5 years old and she got my DSLR out of my bag on her own and started snapping pictures. I see a future in photography.
Speaking of Curly, we celebrated her birthday yesterday. She got a scooter and a sweet helmet. She is the queen at posing, as soon as the camera comes out she gets into position.

This store has it all. My favorite part about Utah Run—> their workout clothes. They offer a huge selection and they carry one of my favorite brands (MPG) which is a brand that has a lot of pieces that remind me of Lulu clothes but they are half the price. I feel like Utah Run has figured out how to carry clothes that are extremely functional for our workout needs but also really fashionable and cute. I pretty much wear what I got from this store all day long.
Shoe walls. Tell me that you also get a little too excited when we see one of these too.
Fuel walls get me every time too (Honey Stinger Waffles and Shot Blocks are almost as good as candy).

Have you ever seen one of these Flip Belts before? Utah Run is the only store in Utah that carries them and they are awesome. You put it around your waist, slide your things into the little pockets and then flip it over… Super comfortable, no way that things are going to fall out and an easy way to carry your stuff on your run.

My last workout was a 5k race on Saturday. I hadn’t ran since before I had my 7 month old. I thought for sure I would have to walk some of it but I actually ran the whole thing!

Ahhh I received some of those Honey Stinger Waffles in my Chistmas stocking last year, they’re AMAZING!! Since I was traveling home from visiting my brother in Austin, Tx today; my last workout was running 4 miles along Lady Bird Lake (river??) in downtown Austin yesterday!! Weather was awesome and run felt awesome!!
A short 3.5 progression run on the treadmill during naptime….I love that I can just run down and do that and move on with me day! Too windy outside anyway!

The reason I haven worked out in so long is because I got food poisoning eating in heber (beware of the hub!!) and also accidentally stabbed through an artery in my hand pitting and avocado. Don’t worry. I still love avocados. I just miss working out. Will start running again Thursday and can’t wait!
this morning it was a 3 mile side-side glide elliptical, chest, triceps and core, and 1 hr cycle class. i also took my 2 kiddos to a family fitness bootcamp style class tonight.

My last workout this AM was circuit training. 1/2 mile run; 30 pushups; 45 second plank; 30 squats; 30 arm rows and then start over. 4 circuits total. I have to find ways to incorporate more strength training. I am not a fan and I only have limited time to exercise and I don’t want to give up my running time. This worked. I am planning on trying this once-twice a week.
