Friday: 4 miles on the hotel treadmill and 6 miles with the Bangs. I have woken up at 7 (8 o’clock Utah time) both mornings since I have been in California and it has felt great.
At least one time you must experience going directly from running out to brunch. Thank goodness for thick headbands that cover up the majority of my hair.
Two reasons I miss California:
PS please note my beautiful diet coke in the above picture. The weekends that I don’t have Brooke become a diet coke binge for me.
I feel like every time I go out to bfast/brunch I order a waffle with whipped cream or chocolate chip pancakes. Yesterday I stepped out of my comfort zone. For the first time in the history of my life I had eggs benedict. They were amazing and the chicken apple sausage and avocado took it to the next level. The hash browns were also beyond good.
I got back to the hotel at about 1 and I had grand plans for my mom (my dad went home yesterday) and I to go to the beach but then I realized I didn’t want to go anywhere so I didn’t. I took a nap.
For dinner we went to my aunt’s house for Thanksgiving leftovers and everything tasted just as good as it did on Thursday.
After dinner we all went to go see The Book Thief. This movie was incredible. I have never been so emotional during a movie… this movie was absolutely beautiful, I fell in love with the characters and we all loved it (beware: it is very sad but so so good).
I know the above ‘movie treats’ font thing is strange but I was bored and was playing around with my collage app and this just somehow happened.
As if the movie treats weren’t enough….
The amazing Lauren and I met for a late night snack. I simply cannot turn down deep conversation over a cup of the good stuff.
And because I am sure that you are missing pictures of Brooke like crazy… Here is one of my all-time favorites.
One of my good friends started teaching pump about a year ago and I am finally able to try out her class tomorrow… I can’t wait!
And from a friend of mine:
