The whole family loves the treadmill and another proud parenting moment.

I think Brooke is ready for piano lessons.

I am one of those millions of people that wishes they stuck with piano and didn’t quit when they did.  My sister is really good at the piano and I love to just sit on the couch and listen to her play.

Maybe I should take piano lessons with Brooke.   FYI picking out Brooke’s outfit is one of my favorite parts of the day.

We had our hot chocolate and it was just what we needed on a rainy day.

HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my nephew today!  He is now ELEVEN.

DSC 6821

The grocery store we were at gave us free chocolate chip pumpkin cookies.  Pumpkin is all over the blog world in the fall for a good reason… It really is the best ingredient ever.

This new treadmill of ours is going to get a lot of good use.  My sister loved every step on that beauty.

Luckily we have another treadmill (it only works for walking, I think it is 15 years old or something) for my sis and I to use so that we can go on ‘walks’ side by side together in the dead of winter.

DSC 6825

The nephew loved it too, especially when he set it to a downhill incline.

DSC 6827

For dinner my mom and I were craving tortilla soup.  I was so excited for my soup but then as soon as they asked me what I wanted to order I automatically ordered my salad.  I can’t seem to stray.

DSC 6829

Another one of those proud parenting moments… eating guac with a spoon.  Something I do a few times a week.  She knows where it’s at.

We are trick or treating at the zoo tonight with our one year old who us going to be a cute little elephant! I can’t wait!

I like that the water bottle goes on the outside. Mine has a cupholder right in front of my and it gets knocked off a lot! So jel.

I took piano lessons in the 4th grade. I still distinctly remember my mean teacher that made me hate it so I quit. My husband is a singer and musician. I’m kind of jealous of all that he can do musically. I would love to learn to play an instrument. Any instrument really. I do love picking out kids clothes too. They are always way cuter than my clothes!

Like mother, like daughter <3
And yes, LOVE her shirt! Brooke, send me your fashion tips!!

Reply

That thing goes DOWNhill? Sheesh, the technology these days! I hope I wouldn’t tumble over the front of it if I tried this! And I took piano lessons too! I also quit, but oddly enough, I’m one of the few who never looked back. I think it is mostly because I don’t want to admit to my mother that she might have been right about having me take those. Maybe one day I’ll come clean. I’m just not ready.

Reply

Brooke’s outfits are always so cute! I love pumpkin almost everything! Just had pumpkin froyo last week and am still thinking about it!

Reply

I just tried pumpkin cookies the other day and i have to say I’m a fan. It was life changing and now I am asking my mom to bake me some. I think I’d like running on a treadmill if I had one that fancy. I drink hot chocolate every day. I am counting the hours until after zumba so I can stop at the nearest gas station for the good stuff (anyone who knows hot chocolate knows that’s the best).

Dreaming of anything/everything pumpkin…and all the spices that go along with pumpkin-y goodness. Probably pumpkin pie is my most-craved pumpkin item. Cliche, but true.

Unfortunately, the pumpkins I know and love are QUITE expensive in Asia. Fortunately, Japanese pumpkins can work in a pinch. Now, where to find some really high quality whipped cream… =)

I am looking forward to a long run with my best friend tomorrow at her cabin in Maryland :)

Reply

I love that your whole family is just as obsessed with the treadmill as you are.
I took piano lessons for about 3 years. I had this weird thing that I could just hear a song and I’d be able to play it on the piano from ear…I probably should’ve stuck with the piano, but I kind of hated it.
Yah, I’m totally pumpkin obsessed. Not just pumpkin anything orange….squash of all kind, sweet potatoes, carrots, anything orange I’ll eat it.
Pumpkin muffins and smoothies are my life lately!

Reply

I love pumpkin goodness! I made pumpkin donut muffins last week and they were amazing!

Reply

I never took lessons for any instrument but I’ve been told a ton of times that I have the hands of a pianist…. I think what they’re trying to say is they are freakishly long and skinny but in a “nice way”. They might as well start out the sentence with “bless your heart and your freakishly long fingers”.

Have a great weekend!

Reply

I never took formal lessons, but a family friend would spend time teaching me when I was really young. I’m looking forward to relaxing. Tomorrow is supposed to be in the low 70s and sunny basically the perfect fall day. I love pumpkin everything, especially the pumpkins that are like candy corn…

Reply

I’m looking forward to finally running in the Chicago Marathon! What a beautiful city I can’t wait to see all of it on foot!

Reply

Wow that treadmill looks so cool. I’m so jealous!

I agree about pumpkin though, it really is the universal ingredient right now. You can make it sweet or savory…whatever you are feeling. :-)

As far as music…I tried a lot of different musical instruments but nothing ever really stuck and it frustrated me more than anything. I wish I had some sort of musical talent (because every other person in my family does) but alas I’m the oddball in that too…

Reply

I took piano lessons until I was about 14 — didn’t love it at the time, but I can still get by and play a bit now.

This weekend I’m looking forward to Canadian Thanksgiving! Can’t wait for turkey!

Have a great weekend!

I love Brooke’s chambray shirt! Too cute!

I’m really hoping that this weekend we can get a ton of yard work done. The rainy season is about to hit and it’s going to be non-chain saw friendly weather soon.

I’m also hoping to get in a swim and talk to some people about (maybe) teaching yoga.

I’m a pumpkin in baked good person and I’d even do it as a side dish. My hub, however, mostly refuses to touch it. When he lived in South Africa, they had it for every meal. He lumps all squash together and declares it “no, thank you” food.

Reply

Oh, and the hopes with clearing out the yard is that we’ll be able to “plant” a music garden. I’ve seen pianos in gardens before mixed with outdoor instruments and we might go that route.

So many ideas.. now we need to get 2 greenhouses and 2 ponds gone. While I might not be running much, the yard work makes up for it!

Reply

Watching my hubby run his first marathon – in Chicago!!!!

Reply

I love pumpkin in baked goods (chocolate chip pumpkin is seriously one of the best combos ever), but when it comes to eating it plain, I’m all about the roasted kabocha squash. Holy.snap is that stuff ever good. I wonder what it tastes like dipped in chocolate.

Anywho, this weekend is Thanksgiving for us up here in Canada, so I’ll be eating ALL the foods :D

Reply

I never took piano lessons but I took Flute lessons until I went to college. I was pretty good too- won a couple competitions, but it just didn’t end up being my thing.

Have I mentioned how much I want your treadmill!? :)

Reply

I took piano lessons for 5 years before I quit and switched to cello. I of course wish I had stuck with it!

Reply

I’m going to get some much needed time with the boyfriend, but will defiantly be still doing homework, oh fun of being a nursing student haha. If I can get enough homework done with today, I will celebrate with some much needed shopping :). I want to make pumpkin ice cream so badly this weekend!!!! I love that Brooke copies what you do, it’s so cute :)

Reply

I’ve been taking piano since I was 4 – I’m now 14 and still going strong! I’m never stopping! I looove pumpkin. Although I haven’t even made anything pumpkin yet! I think that might change today… :)

Pumpkin chocolate chip cake!! Mmmmm!!
I did not take piano lessons but I did play the flute for 5 years. Wish I never gave it up!
Going hiking and cheering on some of my friends from my running group for their half marathon on Saturday!!

My neighbor always brings us pumpkin chocolate chip muffins and they are the best! This weekend I’m excited to see family and old friends and celebrate an engagement!

Reply

I started playing the piano when I was six and am now a music professor. On the reverse end, I wish I discovered running at an early age. It wasn’t until my late 20’s that I realized how great it is.

This weekend I am going to cheer for my husband who is running his third marathon!

I am very envious of your treadmill. I think if I had THAT treadmill, I would really like running on one :)

Reply

I never took piano lessons but always wish I did, I want my daughter to take the too.
Its Thanksgiving weekend in Canada so I am ready for turkey, pumpkin pie and of course the extra day off work.
Love any pumpkin baking, its the absolute best.

Reply

Yeah, I took piano lessons for 3 years, and I wish I had kept it up. My husband’s whole family is very musical, and I wish I could play still so that I could join in when they all get together to make music.
LOVE pumpkin–my favorite is homemade pumpkin bread!

Reply

I with you about taking piano lessons, quitting, then years later regretting that decision. Recently I have been thinking about taking them again even at my old age:) Love pumpkin too especially pumpkin bread. Sometimes I whip cream cheese & honey on the side. Taste so good together. This weekend I am really looking forward to do a little sewing. A friend of mine has a sweet little girl who loves her baby dolls so I am making a wardrobe for her babies because they are always nakie ! And then I will make a matching outfit for her too. Never had a little girl so I am really looking forward to this.

Reply

I never took piano lessons, but I did play the oboe. I should dig out the old girl. I wonder if I would remember any of it!

Sometimes I think kids have the right idea when it comes to eating things like guac from a spoon. One day when my son was about a year and a half, I came home and found him in front of the fridge covered with “hummy” (his word for hummus) from head to toe, eating it with a spoon straight out of the container (my ex-husband was supposed to be watching him *eye-roll* )

Anyway, sometimes I just want all the hummus/guac/salsa flavor without it being tainted by chips or whatever the dipping apparatus might be.

Reply

I took piano lessons for about 15 years!! I was really good at one point and played in festivals and stuff…….but I haven’t practiced in a while now. I LOVE piano though, it’s a wonderful instrument!

I’m looking forward to a girls night tonight and a fun day trip tomorrow with a friend!

Pumpkin…. I don’t understand how people buy canned pumpkin and put it in yogurt or oatmeal, etc. I think that’s disgusting. I love pumpkin bread though. And pie. Always pie.

Reply

Love Brooke’s cute outfit with the polka dots!!

I am not sure what to look forward to this weekend. All of our plans are up in the air because it might rain a whole lot… boo! If I can convince my husband to do a short run with me sometime this weekend, that would be nice, but twice in one week would be just short of a miracle so we’ll see ;)

Reply

I have never been musically talented, and I have always been so jealous of the musically gifted! It must be so amazing to be really good at an instrument!

I am a pumpkin fanatic and get so excited this time of year when all of the pumpkin stuff comes out! Trader Joe’s has some really good & super easy pumpkin baking mixes! The pumpkin bars with chocolate chips are incredible, and I am definitely looking forward to the pumpkin bread & muffin mix! nom!

I took piano from when I was in 4th grade til college. I miss it! I can’t wait til we have a house so I can buy a piano.

About to try a pumpkin doughnut that someone brought into work.
Also pumpkin pie creamer in my coffee has been a go to right now.

My mom took piano lessons when she was pregnant with me and I took lessons from as young as I could, I “played” with my Dad until then, up until I was in my mid teens. I still love playing and am thinking of restarting them up.

As to pumpkin love: PUMPKIN CHILI and pumpkin breads :)

Reply

I am not much for pumpkin but guess I haven’t really tried anything other than pie. This weekend I am driving 4 hours south to visit a friend for her son’s bday. Should be fun she lives by the gulf coast. Hoping to take my sons to the beach! I love that treadmill it looks so nice! Wish we had room for one for now I will have to settle for the treadmill at work. Have a great weekend. How by the way love reading your blog :)

Oh I LOVE pumpkin! My favorite thing to make is my pumpkin oatmeal!

Reply

I took piano lessons for 10 years. Hated it while I was younger, but loved the last few years of lessons.
I wish I played more frequently, but my kids get to antsy and need to take over the keys when I try to play :)
I am making pumpkin bread today to bring to a lake getaway this weekend.

Reply

You should totally take piano lessons with Brooke! My dad took lessons with my brother and I and it was awesome! We absolutely loved that he needed practice time too and I think I stuck in it longer because he was doing it :) I stayed in piano until I was 11 and also wish I had stayed in longer.

About to have a pumpkin muffin for breakfast – yum!

Reply

I’m sure your sister loved that you put this picture on your blog ;) I used to hate treadmills when I was running outside, but now that it’s too cold to run outside, the treadmill doesn’t seem as horrible. I ran 11 miles on it yesterday and I was oddly okay with it :)

Reply

I took piano lessons for a few years, but I was not about to take time out of my busy 10-year old life to “practice”. Now I wish I’d stuck it out. I don’t even think I can read music anymore.

Reply

I am pumpkin obsessed! I had Trader Joes Pumpkin Ice cream last night. holy crap. The only thing that could could make it better is dark chocolate chips:-D

Reply

Brooke definitely knows what’s good if she’s eating guacamole with a spoon.

This weekend is Canadian Thanksgiving, so I’m spending it with my family eating lots of turkey and cranberry sauce.

Reply

I took informal lessons for a while. My best friend (and cousin) plays piano and when we were little she taught me a little. I listened to her play a lot growing up. I still love listening to people play piano. We have a rare weekend where we don’t have plans. I think we might try to camp in the back yard tonight. My kids have never camped and my son has said here and there that he would like to sleep in a tent. So I’m thinking we’ll do hot dogs and smores on the fire pit tonight and then sleep in the tent.

Reply

I took piano lessons as a kid for a few years and when I was an adult I wished I had stuck with it. So I started taking lessons again and I have been taking lessons now for over four years. It’s awesome. You should do it. Its amazing. I’m so glad I did/am doing it.

I adore all things pumpkin! Yum. Your nails looks super jazzy. Love the color :)

This weekend we are going on a gorgeous and epic hiking mission to a cabin with some friends who also have a baby, so this should be interesting! I know we won’t regret it!

And it’s Canadian Thanksgiving weekend–we have dinner at our place with half my family and the other half the next night (my parents are divorced and not on good terms…). Gobble, gobble!

Love you guys!

I love pumpkin stuff except pumpkin pie, which is disgustingly slimy. My favourite way to eat it is pumpkin ice-cream which is just amazing!!

I have my in-laws here from the UK at the moment, so we’re going into SF and eating our way round Chinatown. I need to run too…there’s too much eating going on at the moment.

Curly cracks me up she has a pose and facial expression for every pic love it!

Anything with pumpkin is alright by me.

I want that treadmill!!

Reply

pumpkin belongs in a pie, everyone knows that.

Reply

We are celebrating my boy’s birthday this weekend! I seriously want your treadmill! I’m also doing my last really long run before my 1st marathon in 3 weeks. I adore anything pumpkin.

Reply

I took piano lessons really early on, probably through elementary school? We always had a piano at home but I’m not sure that I could play anything nowadays.

Mmm pumpkin foods are the best!!

Reply

I’m just now dipping my toes into the pumpkin craze. I still can’t hardly stand pumpkin pie unless I have more whip cream than pie. But I do like PSL and I also make pumpkin cupcakes by simply adding a can of pumpkin to box cake mix (I’m healthy I know). Then of course I have to make homemade cream cheese icing.

So good!!

Reply

I am loving my pumpkin bread I made this week–soooo good!

Mmmm cafe rio salad! LOVE that stuff.

I def can’t wait to dress my baby girl—if only she’d show up! ;) (due date tomorrow. eeeek!)

Roasted pumpkin seeds are great and I also love pumpkin pancakes!! :)

I took piano lessons for years…I quit when my teacher thought I should choose between sports & piano, and sports won! I do wish I continued though…

Pumpkin Coffee from Dunkin Donuts is the best & I do love a good piece of pumpkin bread!

I am looking forward to running my marathon on Sunday although Id be much happier about it if I could get rid of this cold…ughh!

Have a great weekend!!

I’m such a disappointing blogger considering I haven’t jumped on the pumpkin train yet! I swear it’s not because I don’t love it!

Reply

I wish I played the piano. Not taking lessons is one of the few regrets I have from my younger days.

I love pumpkin everything. My mom makes a pumpkin cake that is delish and, of course, I usually have a Pumpkin Spice Latte at least once this season (I can’t bring myself to spending the money to have it more than that).

Reply

I actually took piano for 6 months before my teacher moved and then I took up the violin, which I played for about 10 years. I wish I had stuck with both though.
Yummy pumpkin chocolate chip!!!

Reply

Can I have Brooke’s wardrobe? Seriously, her outfits are amazing.

And we are headed to Ardenwood Farms in Fremont today, that’s what I’m looking forward to. Oh, and my mom is coming up tomorrow to buy Liam new toys! I feel like a horrible mom…he’s 10 months old and he’s still playing with with 6 month old toys. Divorce makes you broke as a joke!

Reply

Love pumpkin. Can’t think of something I DON’T like pumpkin.. so there’s that. I begged my mom to take piano lessons once when I was around 7? I wasn’t very good. Additionally, I hated practicing. I think I stayed for a year, mostly because I loved my piano teacher. What can I say? I’m not very artistically inclined in ANY way, music included.

Looking forward to some more Breaking Bad this weekend.. I’m so much fun… haha

Reply

My whole life I wanted to take piano lessons. You should start again…especially if you have easy access to a piano. This year when things hit bottom I decided it was time to do it myself. I love practicing :) You should check my IG to see what my girl decided (on her own) to wear to school today. And if course it’s picture day! Enjoy dressing your cutie while you can ;-)

I love Brooke, what a doll!
I’m looking forward to the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, it’s seriously my favourite weekend of the year!

Reply

I took piano lessons for about 4 years and I, too, wish I had stuck with it longer.

Looking forward to my dear friends baby shower tomorrow.

And I like pumpkin baked goods. But I’m not much of a pumpkin spice latte fan. For fall, I much prefer apple stuff..specifically cinnamon apple anything.

Reply

yum, i love pumpkin! i have a can in my pantry that’s begging to be turned into muffins!

if i promise to babysit brooke, can i come over and run on your new treadmill? =)

Reply

I wish I could play the piano. When I have kids I am planning on taking lessons with my kids haha. Also Brooke should be a crewcuts model.
I love pumpkin flavored anything. I had chocolate chip pumpkin bread before my run this morning.

Reply

Yes, big pumpkin fan. But I only let myself eat it in the fall so it’s something I can automatically look forward to at this time of year. I like to put a scoop of pumpkin in my oatmeal with almonds and dried cranberries. Fall in a Bowl! :) (Love the photo of “Curly” by the way…she makes some good faces!)

Reply

Definitely love pumpkin! I bought some pumpkin body butter at Trader Joe’s and now I smell like pumpkin too! haha!

Reply

Absolutely a pumpkin fanatic! I love it best in soups and muffins. As for the muffins…chocolate definitely makes for an improvement ;-)

Reply

I took 8 years of violin lessons, no piano. I’m looking forward to football on Sunday and my 16 mile run. Last really long run before NYC. I love pumpkin cake with chocolate chips, I may make it this weekend.
That is a beautiful treadmill. I glad it is getting a lot of use.

Pumpkin all day errryday for the rest of my life is basically my thought right now.

Random comment but wanted to give you the heads up – they’re now selling Candy Corn flavored soda at Target. Just saying! :)

I had piano lessons for about a week and I still wish I could play. Maybe some day.
3 of my 4 kids are taking piano now. (they all started at 5) and I wanted to make my son quit because he wasn’t understanding it very well but then all of a sudden it clicked once he got over that hump.

what a silly face Curly is making in that picture. They are all so cute. Beautiful family.

I didn’t use to like pumpkin but now I love it (just not pumpkin pie). My favorite pumpkin cake has penuche frosting (cooked brown sugar frosting)
here’s a frosting recipe similar to the one I use: http://southernfood.about.com/od/icingrecipes/r/bl50618m.htm

My 2nd child is 7 today and he is having his very first birthday party tomorrow. (with friends included, we always have family over on his birthday. He’s never wanted a friend party until now. Silly boy) I learned my lesson this year when my daughter turned 8 and I she had a friend birthday party and was baptized 2 weeks later. That was crazy having 2 parties that close so I don’t want to repeat that next year when my son turns 8.

Reply

I am not musically talented, so no, I did not take piano lessons. LOL!!

With me putting lots of pressure on him, my husband is running his first marathon this weekend! works out perfect for me. I can spectate and cheer him on while it pumps me up for my marathon on the 20th.

Reply

Yummmm I want a pumpking choc chip cookie! Never had one! I made pumpkin muffins the other day, though, and they are PHENOMENAL!! :) Brooke def knows where it’s at: guac with a spoon is heavenly! You’re teaching her well ;)

I love music but can’t play an instrument or sing, for that matter.

This weekend, I’m looking forward to my half marathon in Staten Island, where I am hoping to break 1:50!

Reply

I took lessons for years! I can only remember one or two songs!

The weather is super nasty right now, I have so much to do this weekend and wish it would clear up!

Reply

Guac with a spoon, but guac with tortilla chips serving as edible spoons is even better! :)

Pumpkin pie is my favorite. I finally figured out how to make it from scratch (and from any large squash) so I wouldn’t miss it every year here, since there’s no Thanksgiving in Mexico!

I took piano in elementary and middle school, in college, and then again a year ago. I’ve always really liked it, but I quit yet again because I just couldn’t fit it into my schedule anymore. I like to come home and do things that don’t involve sitting at a chair!

Reply

i was totaaaaaally one of those piano lesson go-ers too! i played for about 5 years and then quit. your sister rocks for sticking with it!

my favorite way to eat pumpkin is in some sort of sweet and carby way! any and all…i want it in my mouth. excited for your about your new treadmill!

Reply

I am the biggest pumpkin fanatic ever!
I never did learn to play the piano but my sister did. I’m in your shoes, wishing I would have not taken dance lessons when I was younger and taken piano. Darn it anyway! I’ve often thought about trying to learn how to play now.
Brooke’s pic makes me want to whip up a batch of guac for the weekend. The only problem is that ripe avocados are hard to find around here. You need to plan for at least 5 days before you would like some guac. RIDICULOUS!!!

Reply

Oh I love (almost) everything pumpkin! Sadly, Germany is not on the pumpkin wagon (or knows it even exists). We were at a store that sold yankee candles and I had high hopes they would sell the “pumpkin spice” ones. (You know, at least smell the, if you can’t have pumpkin pie, coffee, muffins…) The lady looked at me like I was crazy.
She had no idea what I was talking about. “Pumpkin”? “Kürbis”? Nothing.

I started playing piano when I was 5 and quit as soon as I was 16 (when I was allowed to). At 18, however, I decided to get back to it. Now, I haven’t played in years and don’t think I could play a single song.

– still, this is not as sad as the missing pumpkin spiced everything.

Your treadmill is pretty awesome!

Just made pumpkin spice muffins and pumpkin cookies then I tore my meniscus, I AM NOT HAPPY.

See doctor on Wed to schedule surgery… I am going for the MRI tonight but my dr said that he is 99.9% sure it is a tear. I am not convinced, though it does hurt ALOT. Guess I am sidelined for awhile, again NOT HAPPY.

Now I am craving pumpkin chocolate chip bread. And Brooke’s bun is too cute.

Reply

I am definitely in with the pumpkin craze you need to try the pumpkin pie blizzard at dairy queen it is blizzard of the month. I crave it all year long but sadly you can only get it in October.
Your treadmill looks awesome I am trying to talk myself into running on mine before bed since I cant get my butt out of bed early. Not my choosing my 16 month old is going through separation anxiety at 3:00 am and climbs in my bed. Since I don’t feel like staying up an extra hour or two to get her back to bed I let her stay. She will roll out of bed onto the hard floor if I go run so until
this phase is over I need to get creative. Getting runs in as a mom definitely challenging

Reply

I took piano lessons from kindergarten all the way through high school. And while I hated it for a while in there, my parents made me stick it out and I’m so thankful they did. We now have my grandparents’ piano (the one my mom learned to play on) in our house and it’s special to not only have but to be able to sit down and play once in a while. It’s definitely something I want my kids to do someday, too!

Reply

I was a piano major in college, so I took lessons for about 14 years. Then I went to law school, and haven’t had access to a piano for the past three years. :( But I am definitely in favor of you signing Brooke up for lessons!!! :)
I LOVE pumpkin – I made some pumpkin spice syrup for my coffee, and it is fabulous!!

I took lessons growing up, then ended up going to college and got my degree in music ed. I actually teach piano lessons as a second job! Definitely get that cutie pie lessons when she’s old enough. :) No one has ever said, “I wish I never learned how to play the piano.”

Reply

Ugh I am also one of those people that wished I knew how to play the piano! My best friend plays and I love listening to her. She tried to teach me a couple times – it was a disaster! Haha I stink!

Playing piano is one of those things that I wish I did. However, unlike my other wish I could items (be a nurse, speak Spanish, break 1:50 in my half) this one will probably remain on my wish list.

I am super excited about taking my son to see our favorite NFL team play in Tampa. We have a goal of seeing all 31 stadiums by the time he graduates high school (he’s in 5th grade). This will be number 4.

Shout out to HRG mom. I made her lasagna tonight and it was a hit with the fam. Thanks for sharing.

I used to take piano lessons. I was actually pretty good but SO lazy about practicing and I ended up quitting my senior year of high school. I also regret it :(

My daughter is 11 and takes piano lessons, but doesn’t always want to stick with it, but everyone I hear that used to take them and then stopped regrets that decision so I make her stick with it.

I am one of the millions too. I took piano for 8 years and I really can’t wait until we are done with condo living and I can buy another piano & learn again.
Doesn’t time just fly by with nieces & nephews!? And being with them makes reverything better.
Pumpkin is on our menu everyday. And its been on the menu for the past like, 6 weeks. Haha. I make a new pumpkin recipe every week.

Reply

Bahahaha…my 14 month old girl ALSO eats guac with a spoon. And peanut butter. And Nutella. Also, if there’s a condiment on her plate (ketchup mostly), she’ll start by dipping her food into it, but then she’ll be like “Screw food with a side of ketchup, I want ALL the ketchup” and proceeds to dip her fingers into it. I die a little inside.

Reply

Yes! I love pumpkin. In fact, I just got done eating a pumpkin caramel cookie. I took piano lessons for about a year, and I, too, am one of those people who kick themselves for quitting.

I took violin lessons when I was a kid. I was terrible because I never practiced so I quit as soon as my parents let me. I don’t regret it, though. I’m really not very musical. I’ll listen to other people instead :).
