I forgot to tell you…

This last Saturday was my THREE YEARS of blogging anniversary. That is kind of a lot of blogging. You’d think I would have figured out proper spelling and grammar after that many blog posts… I’m working on it;)

You’ve been there through the ups (my favorite up ever—>BROOKE) and the downs and stuck by me through it all. Thank you. I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

You can check out my first post ever HERE! Life sure has changed over the last three years.

—————————–

I am flying out to NYC this morning (yes, I realized I could have skipped 9 hours of flying by just staying out there in between events but I had to have at least a few hours with Brooke) and I will be back to Utah for good on Wednesday.

Brooke and I had a perfect morning together.

My workout was foam rolling. Lots of it because those hills from the three races ate my quads and right IT Band alive.

Icon Fitness gave me this awesome 3-in-1 foam roller (you can find them cheapest at Walmart) —> A massage stick and a high and low density foam roller. All three saved my life at some point this weekend and you have to admit that it is kind of cool that they can all fit in the big blue foam roller.

Brooke is so incredibly generous with her food (at least one of us is). She will try and feed anyone and everyone that is near her when she is eating.

She is also obsessed with the piano lately and dances while she plays (video coming soon).

We also had an intense conversation with Maggie.

Paige dropped off airplane necessities right before I left. Nothing like new music and candy.

The SLC airport has Cafe Rio in their food court. You know where you can find me.

Are men allowed to read and comment on this blog? :)

I started blogging a couple years ago to vent my frustration with the Denver Broncos because my wife was tired of hearing it. I (mostly) converted it to a running blog in March when I decided to become a runner and start training for a half marathon in November. It’s nice to have somewhere to vent your frustration or brag about your accomplishments (even if nobody reads it!)

I love your blog mostly because your sweet tooth sounds just like mine! Now I can buy the 30 oz bag of Swedish Fish and claim it’s for running fuel! Also sweet Brooke reminds me a lot of my youngest daughter.

Congrats Janae! Your blog always brings a smile to my face when I read it. I can’t get over how cute Brooke is!!

I’ve been blogging for three years as well. Participation has died down (by me) in the past year but I hope to pick it back up. It’s great the friends that you make from doing it!

Only been blogging for about 5 months but I love every second of it :)

Congrats! Your blog is fantastic. I’m in my first year of blogging, and I love it! You inspire to just put it out there, when otherwise I would be editing myself. I know I don’t know you, but I still feel proud of you! Guess that’s how this blogging community works ;)

Enjoy being in my city – NYC!!

Blogging for 8 months here… though mine started as an infertility blog, it has branched out into other areas of my life- running, parenting, food, and so on.

I have shin splints right now, and I’m two weeks away from my first HM in almost 6 years! Gah!!!

I’ve been blogging for about two years! I blog about everything from marriage, parenting, shopping, food and of course, my favorite, running!

That roller is pretty cool. I’ve never seen a 3-in-1 like that before.

You’re first post was pretty good! I expect them to be terrible because you just have to get something out there haha. I started a blog but abandoned it. I think I might get back into it. I’ve been out of running for weeks now due to runner’s knee pains. I ran 1.8 pain-free miles on the treadmill today, I might be back!! :)) I’ve missed it so much and really wanted to run at Runner’s World with everyone!

Happy blogaversary! I’ve been blogging for about the same amount of time but only started “seriously” (aka more than once a month ha!) blogging about a year ago. LOVE reading your blog and glad that you can celebrate such a monumental occasion. You deserve to celebrate with more than just a nyc bagel! (though those are the best. which i can say – i grew up there :))

I am still new to blogging- just started in August! http://runningoutofwine.wordpress.com

My right piriformis got a little angry with me after my run this morning but hopefully a lot of foam rolling will help loosen it up!
Oh and I also fell and broke my finger on Saturday while running, I guess that’s a running-related pain:(

Don’t even get me started on IT Bands. I’m still reeling from running my first full with a very angry IT Band a few weeks ago. I probably shouldn’t have run on it but I was determined to finish the goal I had set for myself. It (get it?) hated me by mile 2 and by mile 6 the other one joined in on the fun. Needless to say it was a painful experience. You can read all about it here (http://simplysocialblog.wordpress.com/2013/10/15/this-is-not-a-joyful-marathon-recap/). Sending healing vibes your way for a quick recovery!

I’ve been blogging at my current blog for just under two months… almostgettingittogether.com. I write my company’s blog (ae.com/blog) and I had a blog with my best friend on and off for the past 3-4 years. It’s hard some days to write but I love it!
