Yesterday: 6 mile treadmill run at an 8:34 pace followed by planks, some arm work and sit-ups.
And then Bangs Friend came to Utah and we stayed up way too late last night watching The Great Gatsby (amazing) so here are some pics with not a lot of words.

The only running I’ll be doing today is back and forth up a moving truck ramp- with boxes and furniture in my arms.
I’ll gladly take it as it means we’ll be “home” and home is less than a mile from the beach.
The sad part is that we’re leaving my in-laws (who are simply the BEST) and my father-in-law has taken a down turn in health. We moved to WA from UT to be closer to them, and it sucks. Sorry, but it’s challenging to see one’s father-in-love hallucinate so much. I’m used to it as a Special Ed teacher, but this is different.
I’d run miles to help the man, or merely around the kitchen keeping him safe.

So glad your friend is there for a visit. I’m surprised how close you can be to a person you have only known a year.
