National Sister Day

Yesterday was National Sister Day.  Actually that day is tomorrow but we are celebrating the best holiday of the year all weekend so we spent the entire day together (her husband was out of town).  It started out with us both sleeping on the couches when we fell asleep during a movie, then an 8 mile run (7:40 pace), breakfast, a bunch of stuff I can’t even remember and then a chicken salad for lunch.

My mom babysat the kiddos for a while and the sister and I went and did some things for church and on the way home I was privileged enough to try Honey Mustard Wheat Thins.  Winner Winner.

Brooke is big into sharing her food with me lately.  She must know her bday is coming up and she needs to butter me up.

Pool time with my favorite homies.

And then my sister made me the best grilled cheese sandwiches I have ever had.  Mozzarella, tomatoes, fresh basil leaves, oregano, garlic, salt and a tiny bit of garlic salt.  She uses a little spray of olive oil on the bread.  Deliciouso.

After dinner her girls wanted sno cones.

And after all the girls went to sleep at my mom’s house we went to pick up Pitch Perfect and our favorites, bin candy.  The combination of that movie and my favorite treats was almost too good to be true.

I hope your long run/race/brunch/sleeping in/whatever you do on the weekend goes awesome!

Brooke is so cute sharing her food! I love when babies do that – this whole time you’ve been taking care of them, they’re thinking about how they will take care of you when they can.

Ha! Now I have ammunition to convince my little sister to actually call me back for once :)

My sleeping in did go quite well, thank you ;-) although it’s sad to me that now sleeping in is when I stay in bed until 7:30…

One of my favorite ways to make grilled cheese sandwiches is to spray the pan with cooking spray and season it with garlic powder, salt and basil :) Oh my stars – it adds so much flavor to the bread/sandwich!

So why is being overweight such a direct link to diabetes.
Individuals who have underlying medical condition should also
consult a physician before taking this diet pill.
With more time now passed, those rates would be even higher as obesity is still on the rise.
