This little girl that I once called Spiky turns one today. I can say without a doubt that I need her just as much as she needs me.
There are a lot of mixed emotions that I am experiencing today but the biggest emotion of all is gratitude for Brooke. She is my best friend and brings so much light into my life.
Me, my mom and my sister are taking Brooke to all of her favorite places today….the park swings, the petting zoo, the toy store, out for a donut and much much more (I promise we are doing these things for her and not just for my own selfish reasons).
A lot of changes have happened in just one year but I am extremely excited and hopeful for the amazing things that this year will bring me and my favorite sidekick.

Please do a post on how you launder stinky workout clothes! A special detergent? Hot water? I wash mine pretty promptly with whatever detergent we have, plus sometimes a bunch of Borax, and line dry most of it, but my the capris and shorts I run and spin in are majorly stinky!
