How is it possible that it takes 3 hours to walk through Ikea? I went with my sister to go pick up this mirror (with the white trim instead) for the bathroom that they are remodeling. While we were there I ended up getting some presents for Brooke’s FIRST BIRTHDAY that is in just 9 days. I seriously cannot even believe it.
Walking around Ikea worked up a ginormous appetite and so when we got back to my sister’s house we all rushed in to the kitchen to start making lunch. When I sat down with my salad I looked over at Curly and she had a plate full of animal crackers as her lunch. My kind of girl.
And then when all of the kids went down for naps or to go play my sister brought out the big guns. That Vanilla Heath Bar Crunch should be added to your grocery shopping list right this second.
My sister’s husband works for BYU (where I graduated from:) and they had a work party at Seven Peaks last night. We had the entire water park to ourselves. The lines for these slides are usually crazy long so waiting less than 60 seconds for a slide was very refreshing. Brooke went on her first water slide ever. I wish so badly my phone was waterproof so that I could have brought it to take pictures because she had her big fluffy life jacket on and was giggling uncontrollably as we went down the tube ride.
I will never ever ever get sick of those mountains.
Not only were there no lines but they had all you can eat dinner, soda and popsicles.
Costa Vida pork salads, I really and truly do love you.
We stayed until the park closed and when I got home there was this amazing assortment of produce from my brother’s garden waiting on the counter. Nothing like writing a blog post while eating snap peas at 11:30 pm. I may just have to have that broccoli for breakfast.
