One of the negative side effects of running.

I wonder why Billy was so supportive of me going to get a pedicure yesterday?  Oh yeah, it must be because I have runner’s feet and they need all the help that I can get.  One of the negative side effects of running.

Brittany (she is running Boston on Monday!!) made appointments for us and it was amazing.  Foot massages.  I don’t even have words to express how good they feel.   Added bonus was that this nail place had bowls of candy all over the place.  Perfection.  I am kind of mad that they wouldn’t paint Brooke’s toes though.

PS Brooke really hates those shoes, not only did she try to ditch them while we were out on our walk yesterday but she also threw one into the tub of water that my feet were in.

IMG 1072

After we made our feet look somewhat like a normal persons we walked around Santana Row which has all of the best stores on one street.

And then Brittany brought out the absolute best treats in the world.  7 Layer Bars and Carmelitas, it doesn’t get better than those two desserts.  I could not get over how god they were.

Brooke really likes her.

DSC 1060

After our pedicures we went back to my house and for the first time ever on HRG (and it will never happen again) I will post a picture of my feet (not in running shoes).  We both went with hot pink and I think they look pretty good (it’s all relative).

DSC 1070

We are going out of town today and so I made sure to use everything that could go bad in my fridge in one bowl for dinner last night.  We had bowtie pasta with pesto, spinach, mushrooms, shrimp and parmesan cheese.

DSC 1075

Brittany also started off the decorating of Brooke’s nursery!  We are doing a You Are My Sunshine theme and these will be absolutely perfect.  With the large amounts of HGTV watching that I do each day I am beyond excited to decorate her nursery.  It is going to be out of control.

I just wrote a whole post about runners’ toenails today haha that’s really funny. Except yours look completely normal. Mine are either fallen off or purple! It’s actually embarrassing to get a pedicure…

Reply

If you could make all of them purple then that could count as a pedicure?

Reply

For the ones that have fallen off, I think we should get a discount! 9 nails to paint = 90% of the pedi price :)

Reply

I haven’t had a pedicure in ages… really need one! My toenails are intact but I got these weird divets in them that went across the toe. They have almost grown out now. Have no idea what they were… My feet don’t look good in any shoes at all so I think you’re doing well!

I was a size 6 but after two babies I am now pushing a 7! Amazing how that happens!

Any dessert – I saw a recipe for Mars Bar slice today so I think I could definitely have some of that right now!

Reply

HA- I went from 8 to a 9. No more babies- I HATE big feet!

Reply

You have good feet fr a runner!! I am missing 2 toenails:( Until they grow back, if they ever do, no pedicures for me.

Reply

I almost never get pedicures because it seems so pointless…they’ll just get ruined by running! :( Once it’s sandals weather on the east coast I’ll probably get a spring pedicure and see how it goes…yours looks great!

Reply

I could really use some froyo right now (and always). I don’t have major runners feet but I have lost a toe nail or two. And I have teeny tiny feet…I’m barely a size 5! Shoe shopping is the worst!

Reply

Yes, running was the hardest thing ever on my feet/toes/nails….good thing they grow back fast! ;) Your pedicure looks awesome though! My feet are so ticklish that I cant stand to have someone else touch them in fear of kicking them straight in the face! Cute decor for Brooke’s nursery! Hope you post pictures when it’s finished!!!

Reply

Um, ICE CREAM SUNDAE please! Ha. It’s 8 in the morning and I could eat that for breakfast. I wear a size 7.5 regularly, but always get a 8.5 or 9 in running shoes because, as you know, your feet swell when you run! And I have lost plenty a toenail. Nice.

Reply

Yay!!!! Cannot wait to see the nursery!!!

Reply

Black toenails? Wear them with pride! :)

Reply

That was disturbing. I made it through the first 5 pictures. I’m so glad I’m not a real runner now. I love my feet.

Reply

That was awful. My feet may look haggard sometimes, but they do the job… toenails intact so far!

Reply

I love the pink pedicure and that dinner looks amazing!! I have super tiny feet- running shoes I’m a size 6- other shoes I’m a 4.5-5! :)

Reply

I get a pedicure every once in a while when I feel like my feet are getting particularly offensive. I’ve lost several toenails, but most of them haven’t been from running, go figure.

I wear an 11 in running shoes. I have enormous feet!

Reply

I used to get a pedicure every two weeks before I had my daughter. I am way to busy now and just settle for the ones I give myself. My feet aren’t too bad I use coconut oil on them and they have stayed pretty nice so far. I once lost 3 nails on the same foot. Really gross but not gross enough to stop me from running.

I wear a size 7 running shoe. I would love a tiramisu.

Reply

I always get a pedicure before going on a beach vacation, my birthday, my anniversary, other people’s summer weddings………..so I guess a few times a year, but definitely more summer heavy.

My dessert of choice would be a doughnut. Probably because I am craving one right now.

Reply

I pretty much never get a pedicure. I do my own at home every few weeks or so. I’m not nearly as good as the pros but it’ll do. I wear size 11/11.5 in running shoes. I have giant feet.

Reply

My feet are HORRIBLE! At one point I only had 2 toenails left… I switched shoe sizes and now I have them all back but that doesn’t mean they’re pretty :).

Reply

I actually got a pedicure last weekend after running a 10k in St. George with two of my best girls! I have lost numerous toenails, but have all 10 currently (fingers crossed). I am a 10.5-11 in running shoes, but I am pregnant with my first right now so I’m hoping they don’t get any bigger! If I could have any dessert right now it would be a brownie sundae with hot fudge and caramel sauce! Mmmmm :)

Reply

You just jinxed yourself on the toenails ;) kidding- sending STAY ON NAIL wishes your way!

Reply

Pedicures are not the same in Ireland- no tubs or massage chairs (isn’t that half the fun?!?) So I never get them! (Sometimes I do beg the bf to paint mine, ahhh luxury!)

I wear a (perfect) 10 ;)

I would love cheesecake right now!

Reply

Nope, I’ve never lost a toenail. Sometimes they feel sore but usually as long as I keep them short enough then I don’t have any problems when I run. I’m size 8-8.5.

Tuxedo Truffle Cake is pretty much what I always want for dessert!

Reply

I have BAD runners feet, so I treat myself to a pedicure once a month (for my boyfriends sake of having to look at my narly feet)

I wear size 10.5! (almost always impossible to find btw) I usually have to order my running shoes online bc the running stores never have them in my size.

If I could have any desert right now it would be fresh chocolate chip cookies, right out of the oven! mmm so good!

Reply

Omg just lost my first toenail recently…for some strange reason…I was so happy….I am really a runner!! ha ha!! Love getting pedicures! Wait until Brooke gets older she is gonna want her toes painted all the time…I’m surprised they didn’t just paint them…would have LoVED to see Brooke’s toes painted!!! Btw, love the color you picked!! Mine are painted a watermelon color ;)

Depending on the sneaker I usually wear and 8.5 …did your feet grow after pregnancy…I used to be a 7.5…my feet grew a 1/2 bigger ;/

Favorite dessert…that’s a hard one….anything my mom makes…her rice pudding, flan….creme brûlée…chocolate cake/cupcakes…I’ll take it all!! Lol

Reply

We are pregnant shoe growing size twins :)

Reply

That’s a slick answer to a chligenalng question

Reply

My feet are an embarrassment -I’ve lost some toenails at various times and right now one of them is naturally purple. So I would be too embarrassed to even get a pedicure. I just polish them a dark color and move on with it.

As for the shoe size? I wasn’t going to say it until I saw yours were a size 10. Mine are an 11 and I’m only 5’4″. I’m super embarrassed by my feet.

LOVE Santana Row. It’s been too long since I’ve been there.

Reply

I almost never get my toes done (fingers, yes). Every time I get a pedicure they remove all the rough stuff and then I spend a week in pain while running- my nasty runner’s feet are that way for a reason, folks!

I’m a 7 in running shoes and a 6 in most other shoes.

Warm chocolate brownie + vanilla ice cream + caramel sauce.

Reply

I never get pedicures although I probably need them more than 99% of the population. I also have size 10 feet haha! Any dessert right now… I choose a bowl of plain cookie dough and a jar of frosting I can dip it in to :-)

Reply

Thank you again for the best day ever! My feet feel brand new! Maybe I’ll get lucky and Jake will give me a foot massage now :) If I could have any dessert it would have to be the Oreo poke cake that we talked about (which btw I will send you the link to!!) Have a great weekend and I’ll see you when I’m back from Boston!!

Reply

I used to get pedicures more often, but I don’t anymore. Luckily my feet have yet to turn into runners feet! I wear a 6.5 in running shoes. I think if I could have any dessert right now I would have to say vanilla cake balls dipped in white chocolate!

Reply

I actually need help with the nail thing! I’m pretty close to losing a nail for the first time. I have to say, though, that I have to live in flip flops during the summer. It’s what I do! So, is that ok? Do runners normally not? I have no idea what to do!

Also, we’re running sneaker twins. I wear a 10, also, and run in PureFlowIIs!

Reply

I go for pedi’s as soon as I have a long enough break in training and racing. Currently I am looking at a pedicure somewhere around mid-June… Maybe!! I currently have two gross black toenails and one missing toe nail. I wear em with pride but my partner hates the gross hurting runners feet. The Pedi’s are for his benefit.

I also wear a size 10 sneaker!!

Have a great time away, safe travels!!!

Reply

yesss I have runners feet! Runners/soccer feet. which are double awesome. i have not had a pedicure in forever, but with summer approaching that is probably a good idea…

I am 5’11 , and some how I wear a size 7.5 shoe. No idea how that happened. In college I shared heels with 5’3, 5’4 girls. It was confusing/awesome to say the least!

Favorite dessert? anything with a peanut-butter combo. Be that a cookie/brownie/granola bar/candy bar/ice cream.

Reply

I love the polish color you went with! I am in desperate need of a pedicure…I have today off from work, so maybe I’ll do that today. My feet generally aren’t too bad because I practice yoga at a studio several times a week and I don’t want anyone to judge me for having overly nasty feet. I’m a little paranoid about my feet. :) Enjoy your 7 Layer Bars and Caramelitas! :)

Reply

I’m a 10 too! Haha, I’m waaaaay more lazy with my feet in the winter than in the summer. Unless I know I be in sandals, I rock the “half painted, super chipped” polish look

Reply

Ugh, I lost four toenails at once one summer. It was terrible and EMBARRASSING. I tried to cover up the missing toe nail with nail polish but it just looked SO bad. I definitely didn’t wear flipflops that summer. I love the pink color! 7 layer bars are the best.

Reply

My size 7 feet are hideous. I can’t bring myself to get a pedicure they are so black and bloody. I freak out my high School students when I wear sandals. Ha!! Your din looked delish.

Reply

I often have at least a few black and blue toenails too so when I go get a pedicure, I stick with a dark blue polish and silver sparkles. The dark blue will mostly if not entirely cover up the discolored nails – the sparkles help too, but they are more just for fun! :)

Reply

Good call Emily!

Reply

I get pedicures every now and then but ALWAYS have my toes painted :-) My feet aren’t terrible, but I’ve noticed that my toes have calluses now… just in time for flip flop weather.

I wear a size 8 in shoes, always the first size to run out, therefore never going on sale :-(

Good luck to Brittany in Boston!

Reply

I most definitely have runner’s feet! I love getting pedicures, my feet finally look a little prettier, ha! I wear a size 8 running shoe.

Reply

I don’t get pedicures often, but mostly because I don’t feel like I should subject another people to my feet. I’m also perpetually missing at least one toe nail which make it look weird when I paint my toes

Reply

I don’t have runner’s feet, but I do have work feet.. they’re pretty veiny, but hands are the worst. My veins pop out all the time, even when I’m not doing a single thing, but a photographer found them to be “beautiful” so at least someone appreciated them. I don’t really get pedicures, I do my own feet (I did work at a beauty store for a few years) and I wear a size 9 running shoe, at only 5′ 3″… but that runs in the family on my mom’s side… might explain why we’re awkward runners but great swimmers….

Reply

I had runners feet for sure, and yes have lost a toenail after a marathon. I usually get a few pedicures a year and love them!
6.5-7 in a running shoe.
And brownies!!

Reply

I don’t get pedicures. I hate filing! And my toenails are nastyy. I’m a 9.5. Any dessert… anything banana. Best flavor ever. Good luck to Brittany!!!

Reply

I have never had a pedicure…

I am a 9.5 or 10 in running shoes. I use to be a 9 and then after my 3rd kid, my feet grew :(

I really would love some of these http://pinterest.com/pin/73042825178581338/ right now…I’m going to make them for a friend who just had a baby when I take her supper.

Reply

I’m glad to know someone else hasn’t had a pedicure! People generally freak out when they find out I haven’t.

That dessert looks SO good!

Reply

if i could have any dessert right now itd be a GIANT piece of my moms chocolate khalua cake. YUMmmmm

Reply

I’m used to getting regular pedicures but haven’t gotten one in awhile as my big toenail fell off a bit ago (yay for runner’s feet!). Now it’s mostly grown back and I definitely need to get a pedicure, I’ve been itching for one for a few weeks now. I always go with blue polish and silver sparkles.

6-6.5 in running shoes.

There’s an ice cream shop in New Orleans called Creole Creamery (I used to live there). They have this one desert that consists of 15 scoops of ice cream and as many toppings as you want. If you finish the whole dessert and leave a clean bowl, you get your name on the wall. I would have one scoop of every flavor and for my toppings: chocolate and carmel sauce, whip cream, cherries, sprinkles, and toffee bits.

Reply

Love the color you picked for your toes! Hot pink is my first choice as well – anything to brighten up otherwise dreary feet. And I love the theme you picked for your nursery! My mom gave me a bear when I was little that plays You Are My Sunshine when you squeeze it, and that song always reminds me of being a little kid :)

Reply

I don’t get them too often, but I do them myself regularly. I have never lost a toe nail, but I definitely have runners feet. I’ve had both big toenails turn black though after one of my half marathons.

I wear size 8 running shoes.

A lemon square would be my dessert of choice. :)

Reply

Is it possible to be addicted to pedicures? Because if so, I “suffer” from pedicure addiction. (by “suffer” i mean, “completely embrace”) I go for one every week in the summer… I make myself cool it in the winter and go every other week, but yeah i LOVE them. Its just an easy, relatively quick, relatively inexpensive way to pamper yourself. It’s my me time:)

ps i love that color!

Reply

I love getting pedicures but I avoid them because of my nasty toenails (or lack of toenails). One on my right foot feel off in high school and it has never been the same :(

Reply

Carmelitas are so delicious! My sister just gave my husband a whole pan of them for his birthday. . . and thankfully I can get in on that action because I know where he hides them in the freezer!

Reply

Typically I don’t get a pedicure because of running they just get ruined so quickly. I will paint my own toes, and even though I am not the best at painting, my feet are far enough way that they look okay! I have not lost a toe nail, I buy my shoes big enough in length to allow for room, swelling, and movement! I do however wear a size 10.5. So embarrassing! I would totally have some of our wedding cake! The only bit we got was when we gave it to each other and I only got the icing!

Reply

I wear a 6 or 7 size running shoe…And I’m scared to get a pedicure because of what running has done to my feet! They’re really not too pretty.

Reply

I wanted to get a pedicure after I finished my half marathon but never did… I just did it myself. Wasn’t the same..but at least my feet like normal again! I don’t mind feet..haha is that weird? I actually like my feet so they’re always in sandals (when not in running shoes)

I wear a size 6.5 in running shoes.

I would like a slice of ice cream cake or strawberry shortcake.

Reply

I just got a pedicure the other day and had to explain to the technician that she cannot touch my calluses- I worked too hard for them! ;)

Reply

I also have to explain that and also to go softly when massaging my shins/calfs – the technicians are really unforgiving on knotted muscles when it comes to massaging – which I love except when it comes to my shin splints. Ouch!

Reply

I love pedicures but only get them during the summer. I know some people will get them during the colder months just to pamper themselves, but I don’t see the point. I want to show off my pretty toes!

Dessert I’d want right now?? Cannoli Cream Cake. Full disclosure – it’s on my blog right now ;)

i love how Brooke has the biggest smiles in all her pics. its almost makes it seem ironic that you say “Brooke really likes _____” bc it seems like she is like her mom and really likes everything. I can only imagine the fun in your house everyday :)

Reply

I will admit that I’m glad you wear a size 10! I never knew that and for some reason, I assumed that you had small feet. Weird.
I wear a size 10 in regular shoes and a size 11 in running shoes. That’s huge.
Love the pedicures! I need to go more often!

I am also in the process of decorating a nursery for my daughter who is due in May!!! So much fun =) !!!! I actually also put up “You are my sunshine” decorations!!!! I found the cutest print outs on ETSY that go with your theme as well!!

Love the color nail polish you chose – I almost always pick some type of bright pinkish color, perfect for spring too :)

Reply

I get a pedicure once a month in winter and more frequently in summer – maybe the reason I do NOT have runner’s feet…running shoe size 8.5….I would love my fave dessert right now- factory mud pie from Cheesecake Factory!

Reply

I didn’t lose any toenails until I trained for a marathon. I was so scared mine wasn’t going to grow back because I know a runner who lost her toenail permanenlty, yikes! I know I could never be a serious runner because I’m vain about my feet. Plus my husband is a feet guy:)

Reply

Your feet look adorable!! I might go get a pedicure today now.. I really need it!

Reply

I have told you several times about carmelitas and your need of making them. I am saddened you didn’t believe me until now ;) If I make them though, it’s trouble. I eat them for breakfast. It has oats in them, so it is all good, no worries.

I get pedicured a few times a year…because I have runners feet. I have lost 2 toe nails (1 of them I have lost a few times – they are never the same once they fall out). Ross says that those workers couldn’t get paid enough to touch my feet. Sweet, isn’t he?

I wear a size 8 running shoe.

I hope you have fun wherever you are going!

Reply

Ugh my feet r disgustING right now. Runners feet are awful! Your toes look really pretty! I always get a French pedicure when I go bc I find them too hard to do myself lol.

I wear a size 7. 7.5 in runners bc of the black toenail issue…

Santana Row is awesome! My company has an office in Santa Clara, and I LOVE eating in the yummy restaurants on Santana Row when I travel there. It’s especially nice when your company is picking up the tab.

Yes, I too suffer from runner’s feet. But, those calluses are like battle scars that I’ve proudly earned from lots of miles running and hiking. I can always tell when I increase my mileage because my battle scars become more prominent. Yuck but totally worth it! I wear size 9 running shoes.

Reply

i love getting pedicures, but i really don’t get them all that often. i have all my toenails, but i’m just training for a half right now. usually towards the end of my training, they do get really weak and kind of soft, but (fingers crossed) i still haven’t lost any. we’ll see what happens with i start training for my first full in a couple of months!

i wear a 7.5-8 in running shoes, it just always depends on the brand.

and i LOVE ICE CREAM! give me a shake or a sundae any day of the week!

Aw yes to runner’s feet! I especially like when I take off my shoes after a long run and my socks have blood on them. Such a sexy sport running can be at times! ;-)

I wear a 10.5 or 11 running shoe. Yeah, I have big feet.

Have a great weekend! I get a pedi a few times a year and ill be getting one next week after Boston, I don’t want to ruin it at the race, and I need those calluses.

I love that nursery theme! My momma sang that song to my sisters and I all the time

Brittany looks like one of the happiest people ever and those bars look oh so delicious! I never get pedicures but got one about 2 weeks ago and have been thinking maybe I’ll need to make it a thing. My tootsies are in such sad shape! I wear a 9.5!

I’m about to lose a toe nail right now and I have a couple blisters/calluses at the end of my toes. I think it’s because my running shoes are too small. I wear a size 9 in regular shoes. What size running shoes should I get?

Reply

I usually wear a size 9, and needed to get a 10.5. I ended up going to a running store for a proper fitting, totally worth it (especially because its usually free :P). I think one size up is pretty typical.

Reply

I lost a toe nail before I learned how to properly sized my running shoes… Who knew I needed a 10.5 pair of sneakers… ;)

Just got a pedicure yesterday ! Runners feet definitely needed it ;) Woot ! :D

Reply

I’m always losing a few toenails during a training season, so I just paint polish where the toenail should be… at least it makes me feel better looking at them! I have gone up a half size in my running shoes, 8.5 now.

Reply

I usually do my own pedicures – my feet are pretty janky! But I wouldn’t trade them in for a non runner’s feet any day :)

I have baby feet and wear 5 in regular shoes and 6 in running shoes!

I have some yucky runner’s feet, like dry-cracked heels and ugly toes with calluses all over them. Plus the nails themselves are…just ew. I’m actually too embarrassed to get a pedicure.

Reply

Do you get pedicures often? Do you have runners feet? Ever lost a toenail?
Yes, I love pedis. I usually slack off in winter but must get them once per month in the summer!
I have never, thanksfully, lost a toenail!
BTW: I love your pink toes. That color is amazing.

What size shoe do you wear in running shoes?
6.5 in most running shoes, but sometimes I wear 7.

I love pedicures!! I’m going this weekend to get one…my first for the season!! Yay!!

I love mani-pedis and I could really use a pedicure right about now! My feet aren’t too bad, some blisters and bruises here and there from running and fashion-before-pain flats. I believe I wear 9.5 in running shoes…whatever size they are I love them!

Man, there is nothing better than a pedicure after a long run — especially when they massage your calves! I thought I had the world’s most giant running feet (I wear a 9.5 running shoe) so it’s good to know I’m in company with someone as awesome as you! I lost a toenail my first half marathon a year and a half ago, and right when it grew back, I dropped a heavy metal pole (I was putting together our hammock) right on it, and it fell off again! Luckily, I have all my toenails right now, and I hope I can keep ’em for a while!

Reply

I never get professional pedicures but I have quite the impressive nail polish collection and try to do my own toes once or twice every other week. :) I feel more accomplished when I do it myself and it’s relaxing and cheap!

I’m a size 8 shoe… the average American woman! Haha

Reply

I haven’t had a pedicure in ages. I am planning on getting my nails done before I go to Vegas for my sisters bachlorette. or maybe before Blend retreat. haha.

I haven’t lost any toenails (yet, knock on wood) but I relatively keep my nails short since my water polo days :)

I wear a size 8 in running shoes.

I love your idea for the nursery. So cute!

I went to high school with Brittany’s sister! She’s from Alaska, right? Real world colliding with blog world. :)

Yes!!! That is seriously so cool!

I have size 9 running shoes. And yes, they are definitely feet that belongs to a runner. I don’t get pedicures or anything, but sometimes I’ll go get an hour body massage for 20 bucks in Cupertino, and they will massage the feet for a good portion of it. Feels so great after a race!

Reply

Carmelitas? What are THOSE? And I think it’s so cute that you are toenail polish twinsies. :)

Fun Friday Questions:
1. Do you get pedicures often? Do you have runners feet? Ever lost a toenail?
No, no, and no. Well, I give myself pedis if that counts. LOL. I wear a size 8 in normal shoes, but wear a 9.5 in running shoes because I’m terrified of losing a toenail.

2. What size shoe do you wear in running shoes?
See number 1.

3. If you could have any dessert in the world on a plate in front of you to eat right now, what would it be?
Grilled cheese sandwich. I know, I know… it’s not *technically* a dessert. But it’s National Grilled Cheese Sandwich Day (oh, glorious day!) and it’s all I can think of eating right now.

Reply

I can’t believe that after 41 marathon and one ultra, I’ve only lost two toenails! Maybe it’s because I go up one size in my Asics from an 8.5 to a 9.5. I love peditures, but only get them during the summer when I’m wearing sandals and people can see my ugly runner’s feet!

Mint chocolate chip ice cream!!!

3. If you could have any dessert in the world on a plate in front of you to eat right now, what would it be? Cheesecake!!!

I have the grossest runner’s feet! My sister along with anyone else I actually show my feet to freak out when they see them-purple toe nail, lots of blisters, calysts-YUCK! I am also someone who is embarrassed when I go to get a pedicure.

I am a size 9 in running shoes.

Dessert-give me anything, but maybe wait until tomorrow. Big hilly race tomorrow for 10 miles. Trying to carb up today!

I don’t get pedicures nearly enough. Maybe 3 a year but I’m pretty obsessed about keeping my toenails polished and SHORT!!! Yes, I’ve lost a couple of toenails but they didn’t turn black just kind of “flicked off” one morning. Ewwww…..
Now as for shoe size….I’m a giant at 6’0″ tall so if my feet were small I would look like I would tip over right???? That’s my thought process anyway. I wear a size 12 in running shoes but ONLY an 11 in regular shoes.
Not really sure what dessert I would love plopped down in front of me right now….I’m thinking a tub of butterscotch blondies that I get from a market that is two hours away. I had two tubs in my possession last Friday but unfortunately….they are gone. =(
Good luck to your friend running Brittany!!!

I seriously love that theme! TOOOO cute.

Can’t wait to see the new nursery decor! Brooke has the greatest smile in these photos!

I have been thinking about getting a pedi soon because my feet are just… mangled. I only get them like 4x/year though. I wear an 8 in running shoes. Any dessert at all right now would be a blondie with vanilla ice cream and caramel. I NEVER get to have it because whenever I’m out with the hubs he refuses to split one with me and we end up getting lava cake. BOOO

I rarely get pedicures, and only when I’m abroad, for some reason! I usually do my own toenails, which I should do soon, because sandal-wearing weather is coming…
I have never lost a toenail, and hope I never will! I am training for a marathon next fall, so that could just be wishful thinking.
I wear size 7.5 running shoes, though it varies between brands. I used to be a size 8 when I was a teenager, though. Maybe my feet shrank, who knows.
I just ate lunch, so I am quite full and not really in the mood for dessert, though I’ve been craving froyo…

I think I’m on the verge of losing my first toenail! I can’t believe I haven’t lost one before, I feel like it’s a runner’s rite of passage. I wear size 7!

I don’t get pedicures often because I usually just do them myself, but I do definitely have runner’s feet :/ I lost my big toe nail last summer and it was NOT pretty but it’s all grown back now :)

I wear a size 10 shoe as well!!

I haven’t lost a toenail yet. I try to get a pedicure every three to four weeks in the summer and every five to six weeks in the winter. I am beyond ready for a pedicure on my one good foot at the moment, but I refuse to pay full price to get one foot done.

I wear size 10 running shoe. We are shoe twins!

Dessert right now would be a Krispy Kreme donut! I actually bought one on the way home from work today that I’m saving for later tonight.

My size 8 running feet are too ugly to show anyone! I have an awesome black toe nail that doesn’t hurt, but refuses to go away! Yuck!

My toes are bright pink right now too! I don’t think you have runner’s feet, they are cute! Hmm I think I would choose an apple pie with ice cream on top, yum!

My feet are gross… I don’t know many runners who are going around asking to be foot models.
I’ve lost 3 toenails in my running days….so far.

I used to get pedis often, but I am trying to be a little more frugal, so I have been doing them myself. Lord knows I have enough nail polish to do the job. (It’s a compulsion…) I wouldn’t say I have runner’s feet, thankfully!

I wear always thought that I wore an 8 in my Brooks, but last night the fellow at Road Runner said I should absolutely be in an 8.5 and was shocked that I hadn’t ever had black toenails. That ShoeDog business is awesome, by the way. I suspected that my stride had changed from the last time I was fit for running shoes, and it’s true! Still a heel striker, but better in so many ways than I used to be.

7 Layer Bars are mega-delicious, but I think I would kill for a legit brownie with coffee ice crea, and hot fudge. I’ve been very strictly dieting lately :)

Looking good! I had a pedi yesterday too and it was SO necessary! Can’t reach my feet very well anymore and man, do I abuse them! Love Brook’s nursery theme! And, I’m a size 10. Yikes!

I wear size 11 running shoes. *gulp*

I have ugly feet whether I run or not!

Any dessert in the world? Well tomorrow we are making THIS and I feel absolutely indebted to tell you about it because it just looks so amazing that I know you would probably flip… ;) http://www.kevinandamanda.com/recipes/new-recipes/ultimate-chocolate-chip-cookie-n-oreo-fudge-brownie-bar.html
Can anyone say YUMMMMMMMY?!!!!!

I can’t bear having anyone touch my feet (seriously, it’s a thing, and I kick when they try) so a foot massage would be hell for me. If I try really hard, I can manage a pedicure, but I’ve been trying to save money and doing them at home. Not the same, obviously, but minus the potential kicking… Have fun at the wedding!

I only get pedicures on special occasions. My feet at hideous because they are all callusy and blistery.

I wear anywhere from size 9-10 depending on the shoe.

Cute toes! I have runner’s feet too and I don’t even run that many miles a week (20-ish). I was so proud of having all 10 toenails since December but just yesterday I noticed one was turning black again. Geez.

Funny about Brooke and the shoes! My daughter had some very specific shoe preferences early on too. Right now her favorites the ugliest Dora crocs you ever saw.

I wear a 11.5 your toes do not look like running feet

You actually make it seem really easy with your presentation
but I in finding this matter to be really something which I believe I might never
understand. It seems too complex and extremely wide for me.
I am having a look ahead on your subsequent put up, I’ll try to get the dangle
of it!
