Remember on my birthday last week when I said I had good news?

Say hello to the newest employee of Google and Gold’s Gym.

IMG 7786

I had the Google spin audition last Wednesday and the Gold’s Gym audition this morning. For google I actually taught one of the classes and then today I just did a few songs for the director.

Both gyms do not offer child care so I will be doing the early morning classes before Billy has to go to school… looks like it is back to waking up at a decent hour again:)

For Google I will be a sub for a little while until a class opens up but I am pretty stoked because I get to eat breakfast at their amazing cafeteria (seriously, it is ridiculously good) after I teach a class. I start teaching at Gold’s in just two weeks.

It felt so so so good to be teaching a cycling class again. I kind of love it a whole lot. Getting paid to work out is pretty much the best.

We are off to take Brooke to her 6 month appointment. Hope you are having an amazing day! See you in the morning!

Congrats on the spinning jobs, that is great!
I always wondered how much time it takes to find/set up your play list and coordinate to the workout.
Could you do a post on how you do this?
I would love to be an instructor but I am not too into my ipod and guessing I would have to invest serious amounts of time picking songs, setting up playlists and mixing it up (and I do none of the above!)

Thanks!

Way to go!! I’ve been considering attending a Spinning certification course this weekend, but it’s a pretty big investment for someone who is currently unemployed. Do you have any advice? I love indoor cycling, but am not sure how good I’d be as an instructor!
