I finally got out of my lazy shirt yesterday and decided to go out into the real world. I met up with one of my best friends that I met when I lived in Hawaii a few years ago. After Hawaii we were roommates in Provo and now we live 15 minutes away from each other in California, clearly we can’t stay away from one another. Actually, I just follow her wherever she goes. Be jealous of her I Love Batman shirt.
We went to Santana Row and just sat on the bench/couch things outside and talked for a few hours.
Brooke apologized after the photo for sticking her tongue out at you. Maybe she was hungry.
You are probably sick of me going on and on about my love for living 1.1 miles away from Trader Joe’s but once again they saved the day. Their pizza dough is $1.29 and it is crazy good. We got the whole wheat, white and garlic dough and they were all really good but the garlic dough was REALLY good, I would know because I made it my duty to make sure and eat all three.
We had cheese, pepperoni and bbq chicken pizza.
Round one with some salad.
This is where it gets really good and how I made people think I was cool. If you want to know my secret for winning friends… just hand them a plate with 2,000 calories on it (make sure it tastes good too) and they are sure to like you.
You can’t make this dessert without the hot fudge that goes in between the ice cream layer and the oreo crust, it makes the dessert. I will actually be mad at you if you don’t add the hot fudge.
Everyone left at about midnight but Brooke didn’t want the party to end. She held her own After Party and I was invited:)

I love TJs pizza dough too! I may have bought it because you recommended it before actually. Maybe, I don’t really remember. I really liked it but because I got the whole wheat version my husband called it dirt pizza. He refers to the whole wheat version of anything as dirt. One day I will convince him that healthy is good!

Worked all night, so I still haven’t gone to sleep!! I can’t remember the last time I had pizza, or what I had, but gluten-free crust is on the shopping list for next week and I seriously COULD NOT be more excited. I LOVE making my own pizza!!

I have puppies. Which are like babies. They are so much fun to play with and they keep me up late! I had pizza just last night, nothing fancy, but it was delicious. A Fiery Hawaiian from Dominos. Today, I’m attempting to walk 6 miles. Since I’m really just getting back into this, I’m gonna take it slow. But I still want to go the distance. So just walking! Stayed up until just after midnight. I was just so excited that I could. This is the 1st Saturday since June I haven’t been up before 5:30 to do a long run. I slept in until 7 today :) I am doing a run through for race day. So I am up at 7 to eat and will start running at 10. It will be so much hotter than I am used to, so I think I am going to run the Provo River Trail. Are you going to do your 1st long run since baby today? I can’t believe you are already busting out 6 miles (yes I can) a few days back into running. You are seriously a machine!

The dessert looks amazing and yes we are jealous of you living so close to Trader Joe’s. The nearest one to me is about 45 minutes away. I am so enjoying this weather in Texas and went on a 7-and-half mile run this morning. My last pizza was this week. I’ve never had TJ’s pizza dough, but you have to try the frozen puff pastry margarita pizza. It’s so good. Perfect portion for lunch. Last time I went, they were out. I’m going back today to see if they’ve restocked!
I was up until 1 am, but I didn’t set my alarm this morning, so I slept until 9. It’s too hot to run because I slept in, so I’ll do it this evening. I’m already in my running clothes though, and plan to stay in them all day!

I load mine with fresh mushrooms…my fav! Sadly no trader joes here to get that crust. Dang! No race today, but I set out to do 3 miles and ended up doing 7.5 because I felt great. Wahoo!

I had the race jitters last night and couldn’t get to sleep til 3AM…yup and then my child woke up at 3:14. So we partied in the living room while he figured out his digestive issues and finally got to bed at 3:45. Funfunfun. Then it was up at 7 for our race this morning! My first since having a baby and first in two years and 3rd race ever! :) it was great! 2 miles. I surprised myself and got first in my age group!!
Last type of pizza was something I made with cream cheese, bacon, pepperoni and olives on it. Along with the standard red sauce and cheese. :)

Gee’s Janae, you have friend every where you go. I was up until 9:45 p.m., I have a 6 mile run today and I made veggie pizza’s on whole wheat English muffins…so good…big hit. I’ve been making these for years but for some reason they liked the toppings better or something. spinach, tomatoes, sauce and mozzerella. Have a good weekend.

I was up at 3 this morning to run my 2nd 20 mile long run for Marine Corps. Right after my run I got on a plane from Orlando to Las Vegas for a wedding. I was lucky to have a 3 hour lay over in Salt Lake. I saw a Cafe Rio cup when I was walking through the airport and you inspired me to try it. I have to say my life will never be the same!!! Hmm last type of pizza I had … I think it was the Mellow Mushroom house specialty, which has all kinds of meats and veggies and is absolutely amazing. I think I could eat Mellow Mushroom pizza every day and be happy. :)

Race day – just a 10k. My time was eehhh but the after party food was amazing!Breakfast burritos, donuts, sandwiches, rice and beans, fruit, Nothing Bundt Cakes, and Fro Yo. I am going to do this race every year for the food alone.

I went to bed early last night, but tonight I’m having a hard time…tomorrow is my first half and I’m crazy nervous and excited. I’m gonna pop a tylenol pm and hope that helps me make it to lala land soon! I so wanted pizza tonight (my fav is plain old cheese) but sadly, I’m lactose intolerant (pretty sure it happened after my second pregnancy but it took a good 5 years to figure out my issues!) and lactaid only helps so much…so I carbed it up with a pasta and plain sauce dinner instead.
