-Leggings are the best invention ever. I just rotate a few maternity shirts with my leggings and I am set.
-36 miles last week and all of them were outside, I haven’t gone without a treadmill for that long in a while. I have found every drinking fountain and restroom within 7 miles of my home.
-I read that in the last few weeks the main thing going on is that the baby is putting on more weight and fat. I can honestly tell the difference (okay, it probably is just in my head) but my hunger levels have gone way up recently. Eating a full on meal in the middle of the night happens more often than not.
-I found a DOCTOR!! Turns out there was only ONE in the entire area that we are moving to that is in-network with my insurance and he is going to take me. Biggest blessing ever.
-I go through at least a bag of sour gummy worms a day. My habit is getting expensive.
-Curly (my niece) talks to my stomach all of the time. I actually don’t remember the last time she looked me in the eyes because she is always staring directly at the tummy.
-I hit that special mark in pregnancy that you hear women talk about where they absolutely can’t WAIT any longer to have their baby. I have yet to find a position besides being in the pool that feels remotely comfortable. Poor little thing must be so squished in there.
-Have you ever seen cuter shoes in your life? She is going to come out running.
I wanted to play a fun game (well fun for me at least) and have you guys GUESS when you think I will have the baby (DAY and TIME). My due date is on August 24th so guess away!!!! I will send a package of the most delicious treats to whoever guesses the closest day and time to when I have her!

I’m going to guess that the little lady will be early and come on the 20th during the middle of the night, 4am. But I am also going to guess that you will have a short/easy labor, none of this multiple-day-labor things that I have heard some people have.

You are just too cute. I have to say, as excited as I was to meet my baby, I was a little sad too because I was so used to being with her for 9+ months. I’d talk to her on my way to work, home from work, at the gym, etc. I looked nuts, but it was the best feeling. I’m sure I’d feel differently if I were a SAHM. Of course, nothing beats that first moment when you lay eyes on your baby. It’s love at first sight all over again.

Ya know, what worked for me TWICE to go into labor early was to visit a NEWborn baby, sent me into labor within 12 hours for my 1st and 3rd baby (so first was 11 days early and 3rd was 16 days early)…funny thing is, it was a baby from the same couple each time (the dad is best buds with my hubby). I kind of got on them about not having babies at the time I needed them for my 2nd, 3rd and 5th children…. =)
