Mom, I am going to be on TV

This is the second time I have been on tv…the first time was when I was interviewed in Canada.

The cutest Catey and I had the coolest experience yesterday!  Inside Edition is doing a special all about pregnant runners and so we ran for them and answered some questions about how running has been going for us while pregnant.

DSC 1199

Are you ready to be inspired?  Catey is due in ONE WEEK with baby #9 and she is still CRUISING.  She is so strong, determined and beautiful. I hope hope hope hope I will be running like her at 39 weeks.

Some of the questions included things about what other people say/think about me continuing to run, how it feels to run pregnant, what my doctor says about my running and why I am so crazy.

DSC 1213

After running around in the 93 degree weather the Billster and I headed over to Costco.  On the way to my parent’s house somebody (I won’t name any names) made a sharp turn and our beautiful eggs broke in my car.  Luckily only 3 made it to the floor but we (Billy) scrubbed it all out.

Photo 2 copy 2

A few of the eggs got onto the driveway and so we had to use the hose to rinse it off and then this happened:

DSC 1259

Billy came up with a brilliant strategy to use the children to block the water.

DSC 1247

They weren’t allowed back in until they dried off in the sun.  This is the longest that I have ever seen those kiddos sit still.

DSC 1264

Everyone had ham and brown rice for dinner but I just couldn’t eat it for some reason and so I whipped up some thick carby goodness.  I am becoming very high maintenance about my food… must be a joy to be around me.

DSC 1271

Note to self:  Anytime I get sad or I am in a bad mood just look at this picture (not just because of the ice cream but because of those smiling faces).

DSC 1269

Dessert was delicious and we all lived happily ever after.

NEW HRG BABY POST HERE!!!!

——————————————————

Have you ever been on tv?

-Whenever I see a news camera I try to walk back and forth in the background as many times as possible until they get mad at me.

Do you like to lay out in the sun or do you get bored?

-I used to enjoy it but now I get bored too fast unless I have a really good book, fun people to talk to or a ginormous ice cream cone to keep me occupied.

What temperature is your limit when it comes to running in the heat?

What do you think when you see a pregnant runner running?  Do you know of people that think it is dangerous?  Do people ever try to convince you that running is bad for knees/joints/etc?

How fun that your going to be on tv! I think its great that you continue to run while your pregnant. As long as you’re healthy and the baby is healthy, why not? Now the baby will coming out already running :)

I like to lay out with a book or else I get bored.

I ran a 5k over the weekend in about 75 or 80 degree heat and I almost died. I don’t do very good with heat.

Have a great day!

Reply

WAHOO to your 5k…dang, I would have died in that heat too! Hope you are having an amazing day Heather!

Reply

I hope you (Billy) didn’t miss any eggs–or it sure is going to smell this morning;-)

I am not a warm weather runner, so about 70 degrees is my limit–but if it is humid, forget it! I can’t lay out in the sun for very long either–I get bored and I hate being hot ( I am picky;-))

I love when I see someone pregnant running, its so inspiring!!!! My mom thought it was dangerous to run while pg and I had a co-worker who would make snide remarks. What really gets me is the people that say running is unhealthywill ruin your body are people who have NEVER ran…don’t knock it until you try it!

When are you going to be on t.v.? That is so cool!

Reply

HAHAHA I was so worried when I got in the car today that it would smell awful but it didn’t wahoo:) I am not sure yet about the date but I will let you know as soon as I know. I would have to say 70 is usually my limit too!
Those people that think it is unhealthy have never ran AND they have never done their research!

Reply

Congrats on your 2nd tv appearance!!! Your basically famous now!!!
And YES I could lay in the sun all day long every day if I had the choice.

Reply

HAHAHA thanks Alyssa. Hope you get a relaxing day in the sun soon!

Reply

So much fun! Last week Tina Fey was filming in my neighborhood and I was trying my hardest to walk around the area and get on their movie :)

Can’t wait to see you on IE!

Reply

TINA FEY….oh my goodness, that is so so exciting. It makes me even more excited to hear that she is making a new movie wahooooo!

Reply

When can I watch you on TV?! So cool! I avoid cameras so you will not be seeing my face on screen ever.

I can lay put in the sun for a while, but i usually fall asleep and then get burned. The heat just knocks me right out. I won’t run if it gets above 75-80 because the energy just gets sucked right out of me since it’s so humid where I live.

I personally admire pregnant women running and exercising in general. I’ve never seen a pregnant runner, but at my gym i was behing a lady killing it with the free weights, doing squats and shoulder presses and other exercises I can’t name. When she went to put back her (15lb!!!) weights I noticed she was pregnant! I think that is awesome and hope I can stay that active down the road when I have a baby.

I’m sorry you’re missing Lagoon day! I always missed Kennywood Day (the amusement park near me) when I was little because it fell on someone’s birthday/graduation/wedding etc. I hope you do something else fun to make up for it!

Reply

Yes, I will let you know when they let me know when it will be on. I am like you and I usually fall asleep too! WOW, that pregnant woman at your gym is inspiring me, that is awesome! You will definitely stay that active. Bummer you had to miss Kennywood Day….I hope you get to go to an amusement park soon!

Reply

I’m not sure what the little one on the left’s name is…but she is a spitting image of you!! Are you sure you didnt just pop out a 5 year old yesterday?

Reply

You are right…she really does look like me. I don’t remember having her but who knows with this pregnancy brain of mine ha. Hope you are having an amazing day gorgeous girl!

Reply

Congrats on being on TV! I’d love to see that, seems like an interesting topic. I know people at the gym who give looks to pregnant women running or working out. Didn’t these people ever see the Sex and the City episode where Charlotte runs while pregnant?! I give you ladies so much credit, you are all amazing!

I was on TV once when I was 11. I was interviewed by Al Trautwig at the Lake Placid Goodwill Games that they used to have. I had won a contest and was part of a group of other kids who won a trip there and got VIP treatment. That was probably one of the coolest things that’s happened to me.

I LOVE the pictures of the kids and Billy laying in the sun. It made me laugh, thats such a cute one. I get SO bored laying in the sun at the beach or something. I get hot easily and uncomfortable haha. If I have a pool to swim in though, I’m good.

Reply

Oh my goodness, I absolutely love that episode of SATC….thanks for reminding me about it. Holy cow, that is so cool that you won that contest!

Reply

OMG that’s so awesome that you’re going to be on TV! I’ve been on TV once, but just the local news channel for an interview!

I do enjoy laying out if I’m by a pool, if I’m not there’s not a chance in hell I’m laying out without some kind of water accessible! It just gets too hott baking out there! LOL

I’ve run in 90 degree humid weather before for a race! It wasn’t fun and I was happy when it was over!

It’s a rare occassion when I see a pregnant runner, but I commend them. I mean I hope I will be able to do that someday. It just seems soo hard with all that extra weight! But I guess if you go at a slower pace it would be a littttttle easier.

Hope you have a good day! :D

Reply

Local news…that is awesome. What was the interview about? 90 degrees AND humid…girl, that made me sweat just reading about that race you did. Yep, the extra weight definitely makes a difference. Hope you are having a great day too!

Reply

When you’re on tv, that’s when you know you’ve “made it”…congrats on your appearance, girlie! Your nieces and nephews are getting cuter by the day, clearly they take after their aunt’s exquisite taste in ice cream :)!

Reply

Hahaha you are right. I am truly proud that I have left my legacy of ice cream love with them:)

Reply

Oh my goodness, Your baby bump is looking so cute!!

Reply

Thanks so much Kris, you are so sweet!

Reply

How cool that you’re going to be on Inside Edition!! Do you know when it airs??

Reply

I am not sure yet, they said they will call me and I will let you know asap. Have a great day gorgeous girl!

Reply

I don’t really have a temperature limit for running, but I do have a humidity limit. Running in above 90% humidity makes me hate life, so I stick to the treadmill.

You’re so famous!! That’s awesome!

Reply

I didn’t know it was possible to get above 90% humidity;) That is just ridiculous!!!

Reply

love edy’s slow churned! you are such a funny writer. that’s awesome that you’re running and pregnant (and crazy).

Reply

Isn’t it the best ice cream ever?!? Thanks so much Mary, you are the best!

Reply

I used to watch Inside Edition all the time when I was in high school!!! Too cool that you’re going to be on it!

Reply

You better watch it again when I am on hahaha!

Reply

I am so excited to watch you on tv!

Reply

Thanks Caitlin, I will let you know when it is on!

Reply

I’ve been on tv singing a song with my cheerleading squad in high school haha. The local stations used to do this thing called “football friday night” and every week different sport teams would get to run it!

Reply

WHAT!?!?! That is so cool! You sung on TV…WOW!

Reply

Haha yea…just local TV. And thankfully it wasn’t just me singing. That would have been scary for everyone ;)

Reply

Have you ever been on tv?

-I proposed to my husband on TV. Plus I was interviewed when he was in Iraq. And I’ve been local TV on my friend’s program several times. :)

Do you like to lay out in the sun or do you get bored?

-LOVE the sun!

Reply

JEN..that is the coolest thing ever that you proposed to your husband ON TV…WOW!!! You were interviewed and on your friend’s program too…you are famous!

Reply

That’s awesome you’re going to be on tv, again!! And WOW, your friend is a ROCKSTAR!! Baby #9 and due in one week – props to her!!! :)

Your nieces and nephew are seriously the cutest kids!!! Love that you get to spend so much time with them and are always having a blast with them!!! Enjoy all the fun while they are young!!!

Reply

Seriously, she is beyond amazing! Seriously, little kids are the best and I am going to miss them way too much when we move away:(

Reply

You’re such a superstar – I love it! I am in a few commercials on our local channels (for gyms that I work at and one for a frozen yogurt place), and I was in a music video when I was little.

I can’t believe your friend is about to have her NINTH baby…that makes my head spin. Daniel is the youngest of seven, and I thought his family was huge. I can’t imagine NINE babies…..are you going to have that many?

Reply

I want to see you on TV!!! I’ve been on the news a couple of times… Don’t worry – I wasn’t being sought after by the police or anything. :)

I used to lay out quite a bit. Now I’m pretty careful about sun exposure. Being active outside I get plenty of it even with sunscreen, but these days I am usually in the shade if I can help it. My grandpa died of a very aggressive skin cancer several years ago. That pretty much changed my perspective and habits.

I did the Cellcom Green Bay Half Marathon on Sunday (my first half since my pelvic fracture in April 2011!!!! Slow as molasses, but I did it!!!). The race was shut down due to heat just a couple of minutes after I finished. Out of a field of 7400 total, only 10 full marathoners (basically the elites who won prize money) officially got to finish, and about 1/2 of the halfers did. A lot of people continued any way. I personally felt fine, but I seem to handle heat a little better than some, and also I knew I could push too hard, and needed to keep it slow if I wanted to keep my hip happy and healthy. I think that mindset (along with walking through and drinking at EVERY fluid station and running through EVERY sprinkler) kept me safe. Seeing and hearing ambulances every where and people on the sides of the course was also all I needed to be careful. A lot of sick people. :( A bigger city probably would not have shut down – it’s sounds like Cleveland was very similar this weekend, and they didn’t – but GB simply doesn’t have the emergency medical resources and was stretched to the limit.

So I guess I haven’t found my heat limit yet. :)

(Sorry for the novel)

Reply

That’s so cool that you were interviewed!

I’ve never been on TV. :(

Napping by the pool is my fave, and I would do it more if it wasn’t so bad for the skin.

In the Houston summers I will only run early in the morning (starting no later than 7) or late at night due to the heat. And in the occasion it’s over 100, then I won’t mess with it at all.

I love when I see pregnant people running! I think it’s great that they are continuing to stay fit even though it’s harder on their bodies.

Reply

OMG the kids on the pavement are too funny! My husband dropped some of my raspberries coming out of Costco last night! :(

Reply

HAHAHAHA that is hilarious! I love Billy using the kids as a shield – sheer genius! He’s getting a button ;)

That sounds so cool that you’re doing a pregnant running interview. I can’t wait!

Reply

Your little neice (the one with the brown hair) looks so much like you! They are all so cute! :) I was on TV about once a month for my previous work – was able to talk to people about being healthy and what they could do to avoid chronic diseases. I used to recognized by random people all the time too. Can’t wait to see your interview! Do you know when it airs?

Reply

I’m antsy to just lay there in the sun but I’m ok with music or something to read! At least for a little while!
I was on tv once my dad did a cooking show for a while on a local tv program/channel and I was his “assistant” a couple times (when I was like 10)But that was the extent of my acting career hahaha

Reply

awww thats so exciting. you’ll HAVE to let us know when it airs so we can tune in!!

i’ve never been on tv before…i dont think!

I’m pretty prone to getting sunburn rather easily so I dont really lay in the sun. i’m the girl that slathers on SPF 80 at the beach and hovers near the umbrellas ;)

most of mine and kevins family is supportive of my running but I do have some people that lecture me on how bad it is for your knees, joints, blah blah blah…I just nod and smile politely. Its always the people who have never ran before or arent really active that say those kind of things. Same as inactive people who think you are crazy for working out 6 days a week…everyone is different right?

I think its so AWESOME when I see a pregnant woman running, who knows if i’ll get comments from family or friends when I get preggo but I am def planning on running during my pregnancy as well! i think you are amazing!

Reply

I am on TV for a living! :) I’m a reporter. So, yes. I’m on TV everyday!

I used to really love hanging out in the sun but I get bored too. I need a book to pass the time. Or a nap.

When I see a pregnant runner, I think “kudos!”. Pregnant runners are superstars.

Reply

How cool is that!!! I definitely hope to be a pregnant woman that continues to workout. That is my goal! I like to lay out in the sun but I get bored pretty fast too.

Reply

I’m trying desperately to increase my heat tolerance so I can run more, but right now I just can’t stand the thought of anythng above 80-85°. Yuck.

Reply

So cool – you are a fantastic role model for women who want to continue exercising while pregnant. I’m no expert, but it just seems to me that you are doing it right – listening to your body, having fun, and not stressing or pushing it too hard.

Great Dreyers buffet! :-)

Reply

That’s awesome that you’re on tv doing what you love!

If I drove by and saw everyone on the driveway like that I might be really confused, hahah.

Reply

HOW COOL!!! That’s so exciting!!!

I always think how awesome a woman is when I see her preggers and running! I always hope I’ll be like that when I’m pregnant too. GO YOU!

Reply

Awesome for you!!! You are such a celeb! ;o)
I mention my adventure races to you a lot, well, I have been interviewed/followed by local news stations regarding these races. I am leader of a team of 6 (loyal group exercise members and my friends!) and we have place in all of our races. The news caught wind of it and has “specials” on our trainings and upcoming events!
I cannot lay out in the sun anymore. I could lay out for hours in my teens and early 20s, but now I feel like it is a total waste of my time. Honestly, I just can’t sit still for more than 5-10 min.
Heck, I live in the deep south…bring on the heat! 100 degrees + and I’ll still run! I find pregnant runners inspiring. Good for those women (and you) for being active and keeping your body and your baby’s body healthy!!
People constantly tell me that I am “breaking down” my body w/ all my working out—even though it is my job! I totally ignore them and you should, too!

Reply

Please tell us when it airs!!! I watch Inside Edition on commercials of the Big Bang Theory, so I don’t want to miss you! :)

Reply

Running pregnant fears would only seem to be the same as running non-pregnant fears, meaning; is it a blistering, ‘we are about to cancel it or offer deferments’ weather? Are you running the same amount you did when you wilted away your flesh, stopped having periods (am I allowed to say that hear?) and your resting heart rate doubled its normal? Or you running until you sleep at night, dreaming of running, and when you wake up, you find you are actually running?

Not sure if you remember The Jade Rabbit, but maybe getting pregnant through pre-marathon relations and feeling the tingle of conception in your womb at the finish is the way to go.

90 degrees is my limit, maybe 90 at the end is okay, but like running in super cold, anything that magnifies my stud factor is okay with me. Good thing god didn’t let men get pregnant, huh.

Reply

that is so cool, I want to see the TV spot! I can’t believe Caty is on baby #9!! I couldn’t even imagine having that many kids! I love that your niece is always in some sort of tutu when, does she get to wear them to school? If so I am jealous!

Reply

I can’t wait to see you on TV!

My mom had her knees replaced with artificial joints a couple years ago, and I stayed with her in the hospital to help her with her rehab. I got up one morning and went for a run from the hospital- both to check out the city and also to get some of my stress worked out. It’s hard to watch someone struggle with new knees! When I got back from my run, all the patients kept telling me that I was going to wear out my knees. It was hard to argue with them- but I wish I’d known more of the studies showing running actually helps your joints. :)

Reply

That is so cool!! You are so awesome. When will it air?

I don’t mind laying in the sun for a little while. I usually just listen to music while I’m doing it.

Reply

I defly want to keep running when I am pregnant. That is crazy your friend is on baby #9 and running at 39 weeks! Whoa she is my hero!!!!!!!

Love to layout. But I also like a pool nearby to take a dip in when it gets too hot. 80 is prbly my limit and I have never been on TV. Thats ok tho cuz I am major camera shy ;)

Reply

How cool is that! :) Before finding all of these great fitness blogs, I wouldn’t have given it a second thought to see a pregnant woman running. Now? It inspires me to run!!
:)

Reply

Walking while I was preggo was a challenge and your RUNNING in 90 degree heat? I don’t know whether to love you or hate you right now?! I’ll go with….LOVE, that’s awesome. And you’ll be so much better for it come the labor and recovery afterwards. You’ll be feeling great and fancy free…just really tired :) Plus you seem to have a great handle on resting when your body tells you to rest so you keep doing what your doing for as long as you can!

Reply

when will you be on tv!? I’d love to watch this episode of Inside Edition. let me know!!
I’m so glad running is safe while pregnant!

Reply

I would love to continue running when I’m pregnant! it inspires me so much to read about women like you who keep running. I much prefer to run when it’s not blazing hot outside, but it does feel good to really sweat out there. anything about 80 or 85 is pretty brutal for me.

Reply

Congrats on being on TV! You are totally my inspiration! My husband and I have been talking about having a baby and he is so worried about me running because everyone says it is so bad. I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow to talk about it. I am so thankful for having your posts to read! Thanks.

Reply

I was on tv for the Lifetime movie Marry Me and I was an extra in a couple of scenes in the Footloose remake.

I get way too bored now, so I never lay out in the sun.

The heat does not bother me so I run no matter what the temp is. Just like playing in Nationals and other matches for tennis during the summer when its over 100 degrees and at least 10 degrees hotter on the tennis court!

I think its great when I see a pregnant person out running, especially the ones that run marathons and are used to it! I have to be careful running because of all the damage I have suffered training for tennis. Tennis courts are brutal on the body.

Reply

I can’t wait to see your TV clip, you’re famous ;)

And what a bummer about the eggs, good thing you were able to get them cleaned out quickly!

Reply

What a fun experience! I’ve been on TV a couple times, just for a fundraiser run our school did and a staples advertisement, which was so embarrassing! I hope to never come across that again. 9 babies!! That is hard core! I’m super impressed by that. I actually get super bored lying out in the sun, so I never go to the beach or anything.

Reply

Inside Edition? That’s so cool! Whens it going to air?

Never laid out. I have two skin tones: lobster red or pale as a ghost. I don’t tan.

My daughter has that same dress Curly is wearing! Costco? Too cute!

Reply

Your niece on the left in this picture looks exactly like you!

Reply

When does the segment air?? I’d love to watch it!

Reply

I want to see your interview, that’s really awesome! I think it’s so awesome and inspiring that you are still running so much while pregnant.. haha I think your mileage is better than mine and I’m not preggo :) You are going to be my inspiration to be awesome when I get knocked up one day :-D Plus I really love reading all your baby posts, I love how you’re so candid about it. I will definitely be re-reading ALL your HRG baby posts one day!

I don’t like being on camera myself, but (brace yourself, this is weird) – I love getting my DOG on camera!! My bf is a news reporter and I’m always trying to work the dog into his stories haha. People who watch the news are probably wondering why on earth there’s always a little white dog running around in his shots hehe.

Reply

You belong on tv. Love it!!
Baby #9. Holy crap. Amazing.

Reply

Because of my job, I’m on TV at least once a month. And we have a department rule, whenever one of us is seen by another in the media and called out on it, we have to buy donuts for the entire dept. It’s gets spendy. =)

I like to lay in the sun sometimes. We do at the park on occasion while reading or people watching when it’s not too hot. If it’s hot, I need to be laying out near water. Preferably a beach, but a boat/lake or pool will do.

Reply

And my younger daughter and a family friend were on TV Sunday talking about the eclipse! They had attended a watch party with a few other hundred people.

Reply

How fun that you’re a preggo runner tv star!! And the 9 month pregnant superstar with 9 kiddos…whoa buddy!! I checked out her blog…I will be taking some notes from her on handling my..ehem…2.
I’m a sun snob. I don’t really like running in hot sun. 80 or so is pretty much my limit. I’d rather run in the early morning…or later evening.
When I see a preggo running, I think they are super human.

Reply

That’s so cool about being on TV! Let us know when it will air!! And I seriously hope when/if I get prego, I will be able to run and exercise all the way through the pregnancy like you guys. I have a feeling I’ll just get lazy. :)

Reply

39 weeks with baby #9 and still running. She is supermom! Love that. You are doing great J!! Can’t wait to see your segment on Inside Edition. That’s neat!

I worked in TV for a brief stint so I have some of my old stand ups and a few cheesy commercials, lol. Maybe I’ll convert them from Beta one day so we can all get a good laugh :)

Once the temp gets over 80 running becomes really hard for me. I can do short miles but long miles? Eeeek!

Reply

Speaking of Costco, I saw you mom and sister there on Saturday. I was excited thinking that you would be with them, but you weren’t

Reply

That’s so cool that you are one of the faces of pregnant runners! :) And WHOA to Catey for running that long! Way to go Mama!!

I think 80 is the perfect temp! When it’s 85 and above it’s way too hot!

Reply

That ice cream looks and sounds sooooo good right now! I’m battling a sore throat and feel that I need that in order to get better, right? I’m sure things might get uber-crazy with the last few days of teaching upon you, but please find a way to post the Inside Edition link or something so those of us who are too cheap to pay for cable can watch you in all your glory! :) Or maybe just the day it’s supposed to air. I’m a pretty good detective so I might be able to find it…haha When I see a pregnant runner, I’m like “Booyah! She rocks!” I would high-five all of them if it wouldn’t be weird.

Reply

When will it air?
I totally just told my husband “my friend is going to be on inside edition” He asked who, and then was like you don’t really know her. :( But I do!
I am sure you were awesome!

People say the dumbest things to be about running and pregnancy. The last time I was told I didn’t really love the baby because I was running to stay skinny (umm I gained 35 HEALTHY pounds— but not skinny). I was told because I was pregnant I should sit on the couch and eat bon bons with my feet up. (I did that too and highly recommend it too as far as snacks go) And then when I told them I was running with permission from my doctor some one told me I she must be a quack.

This time I am not showing yet too much yet so I am yet to hear too much. But I am sure it will come. My OB is a runner and so she is very supportive.

But beware! I got nasty comments from my nosey neighbors for running with my baby in the jogger! It was a “cool” (60*-ish) fall morning (and I use the word morning loosely 10am ish) and I took my daughter out, she was in pants and a had a blanket that refused to wear because IT WASN’T COLD, I was in shorts and a tee. I get to my front yard and am dripping in sweat and the old man across the street comes out of his house to tell me it is too cold to have the baby out and I should be wearing more clothes. Grrrr. it still makes me mad thinking about it!!

Reply

Nice job on the run and the tv special!!! You’re amazing.

Reply

You guys are adorable-thanks so much for making time to be there! It was a treat to meet you! :)

Reply

First and most importantly…you got to meet Catey!!!! I love her :) She is why I started running again and part of why I began my blog. She is awesome!

Secondly, TV…yes. I was on Wide World of Sports for rowing back in the day. And I have been interviewed on the news a couple of times.

The last time I ran pregnant it was in the 80s and that was it for me!

Reply

Temperature 80s! Not the 1980s! I know that regarding me, it could have gone either way :P

Reply

you have to let us know when it airs!!

Reply

How cool!!!! You look so great. I hope to run through my next pregnancy!

Reply

That’s awesome! Hope to catch the episode!
I do not run in the heat. Well, I do but I don’t last for very long unless I can find some breeze and/or shade.
The only thing I think when I see a preg lady running is how MUCH I hope that’s me when I’m pregnant again someday! I didn’t become a runner until after my baby was born so my Dr said no running. I hope she changes her mind the next time around considering that I am more consistent with it!

Reply

That is so cool that you’re gonna be on Inside Edition. Any idea when it will air?
I’ve never been on TV. Unless you count my video year book in high school. lol

I could absolutely lay out in the sun all day. Give me a magazine and an icy cold adult beverage and I’m good to go for the long haul!

I don’t guess I really have a running heat limit. But my RACING limit is about 55-60. I remember one day last summer when I ran 4 miles when the heat index was 119. Gotta love summer in the south!

Reply

That’s awesome that they came to interview you! Excited to watch :). Back when we first got married, my husband watched WWE wrestling. I surprised him with tickets one year and that’s the ONLY time I have on TV… really embarrassing .
When I see pregnant woman running I think “that lady is superwoman!”. I didn’t start running until after having all my kids so I have never tried that.
My doctor tells me all the time that running causes bone loss. It’s really annoying.

Wow that’s awesome that you are going to be on tv. I love the picture of you two girls running! Beautiful!

Congrats to being on TV–that’s fantastic! :)

Hi! I was watching Inside Edition last night (Tuesday) and saw a preview for your running while pregnant segment. I’m 99% sure they said “coming up tomorrow!…” so I have set the TV to record it tonight (Wednesday). :o)

They could not have selected a BETTER example of a healthy, running mom-to-be. So proud of you!!! So deserving!

Seriously, you are still tiny! Tall or not, it’s hard to tell in some of your outfits that you are indeed preggers!
