Fish Theme Date Night

We put all of our trust in Groupon once again to choose where we should go to eat for our date night last night.  Groupon pulled through and took us somewhere delicious.  Maybe the reason that we have liked every new place that we have eaten at lately is because we are the least picky people in the world when it comes to food.  As long as there is something fried or cheesy on the menu I am sure I will be happy.

The deal was $20 of food for $10 = a lot of food for two people at this restaurant.

We started with clam chowder and lemonade (DP for the Billy) and we both loved it.

Once the bowls were officially licked clean our meals showed up.  I chose a baked potato instead of fries, I really have a problem and can’t turn one down.  I have been hiding how many of these I eat a day from you out of embarrassment but the number is > than 2 a day and some of those potatoes have been eaten before 9 a.m.

When we were finished ordering we still had a few dollars left to spend on the Groupon and so a side of onion rings was necessary, they definitely count as a serving of vegetables right?

We got home, turned on the tv and within 5 minutes I fell asleep.  I woke up when a teacher called me to see if I could sub one of her classes for the next day.   It was awkward when she said, “Did I wake you up?  It is only 8:15 pm.”  Yes, yes you did and I was even having a good dream when she did;)  Good thing I love her.

I got my second wind and continued with the fish theme of the night while watching the Lakers game with Billy.

It is going to be an exciting weekend for us.  We are going to go to Northern California Saturday morning to check out another law school.  Hopefully we make all of our flights (we fly buddy passes thanks to my awesome brother).  I just had to include this pilot picture of him with his daughter because it is too cute.

PS let me know if he is ever your pilot:)

Like yesterday’s question for Seattle peeps….WHO IS LIVING (or has lived) IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA?!?!  What is the racing scene like?

Anyone else traveling this weekend?  What are you most looking forward to this weekend?

What time did you fall asleep last night?

How many days this are you running?

-4 wahoo!  Billy has moved up from 5 days a week to 6.

Happy Friday Janae! I hope you make all of your flights. I would love to live anywhere in California!

That is too funny about falling asleep at 8:15…it’s not that I have ever done that before;-)

Reply

I think that bedtime at 8:15 every night might be my new thing:) Thanks so much Becky and you can come visit and stay with us in Cali anytime!

Reply

None of your pictures showed up for me : (
Any time is potato time!

Have a great time in California, and have a wonderful weekend!

Reply

HEY HEATHER!! Thanks so much and sorry about the pictures but they should be working now:) Have an amazing day!

Reply

Well, I have also lived in Northern California, but probably not the area you’re looking at. I only made it 6 months in Arcata/Eureka before I ran back home. Weird place. But other parts of NoCo are really spectacular!

Reply

Bummer that Eureka was a weird place…glad you went back home though:) Have an amazing day Rachel!

Reply

Haha, I live in Eureka now. It is a special place, that’s for sure! I moved here from Alaska, so it is weird to live in a place where the weather never changes, but I’ve got opportunities for snow and heat really close by. It does grow on you after awhile ;)

Reply

I live in NorCal! Just moved here recently and can’t offer too much info on race scene but it seems like there are always some races within an hour or two of San Francisco. I just finished my 2nd half marathon this past weekend – the Divas Half! The weather here is uhmazing for running (I’m from humid South Florida originally ;).

Reply

If we move there will you hang out with me:) CONGRATS on your 2nd half marathon, that is AWESOME!! I bet the weather feels good after Florida ha!

Reply

Aw what a cue photo of your brother and his daughter!!

Groupon, Lifebooker, Living Social, all those websites are the best! I’ve gotten some awesome deals on there. At first I didn’t believe it was real but it actually is haha.

Reply

I have never heard of Lifebooker, I am going to have to look into that! Have a great day Megan!

Reply

Its great, check it out! They have some nice gym/exercise class deals. Enjoy your weekend :)

Reply

Sounds like an awesome date! If only I could see the pictures! lol

Reply

Sorry Sara! The pictures should be working now! have a great Friday!

I was just in Northern California (San Francisco + wine country) and I don’t know about races but I saw a TON of people running. Driving through wine country there were a lot of people on road bikes, too, which looked super awesome. You can’t really beat the scenery. I loved SF, I’d go back to that area in a heart beat.

Reply

GOOD to know that there are a bunch of people out running. Your little vacation sounds amazing and if we move there you better visit us all of the time:)

Reply

That father-daughter picture is adorable! I’m definitely not traveling this week unless you count the 11-mile run I have scheduled for tomorrow morning. Only 2 weeks until my first half! Oh, and I run typically 3 days a week or at least I have been for this training. 6 days seems like so much!

Reply

11-mile run is definitely traveling…good luck, you are going to rock your first half marathon wahoo!

Reply

That date sounds delicious! Have fun and good luck catching your flights to Northern CA. When do you guys decide where you’ll move and Billy will go to school?

Reply

Thanks so much Abby! We will probably be deciding within the next month….AHHHH!!!! Hope you have an amazing weekend Abby.

Reply

Groupon is the best thing invented, especially for date night! We’re so cheap we bought a coupon book for our city:)

Reply

A coupon book for your city?!? I totally need one of those, that sounds awesome!

Reply

The racing/getting outdoor scene here is awesome! Especially if you are going to live in the Bay Area. Check out South Valley Endurance–they list some but not all races and they send you email notifications of new races. Awesomeness. I’m a Utah native, but will never go back!! It’s awesome here because we still kind of get four seasons. I’ve lived in SoCal too but I’m now NorCal for life!!! We can go skimboarding together in Monterey when u move here ;)

Reply

CASSI, thank you so much for commenting and helping me out. So good to hear that you love NorCal so much…that makes me so happy. You better hang out with me if we move there!

Reply

That’d be awesome if your brother was my pilot! It’d be like I knew him!

That is so much food for $20! I’m jealous. Then again, we are using Mike’s birthday gift card to go out for Indian tonight. I can’t wait!

Have fun this weekend!

Reply

Have SO much fun getting Indian food tonight, that sounds so so good. Tell Mike happy birthday!

I would looove to live back on the West Coast! Can I come live with you and Billy if you move to California?? haha I’ll babysit!
This weekend I am traveling! I’m going to Boston to visit my friend from college! It’s my first time there and I’m super excited!
Safe travels Janae!

Reply

YES AND YES, move in with us and we will run and eat all day together:) Have so much fun in Boston with your friend and safe travels to you too!

Reply

We live in Northern California (Mt. Shasta). There are tons of races in SF, Davis, and Sacramento. Usually a three to four hour drive for us. We are an hour south of Oregon so we hit some races there too. What area are you guys looking at?

Reply

Santa Anna! Good to hear there are so many races in that area and I would love to do some in Oregon too! We better run together if we move up there!

Reply

Of course we are going to run together! Possibly every weekend :)

Reply

I’m going to have a baked potato for lunch today :) I’m running a 5k with my mom on Sunday called “Run Like a Mother.” The shirts look really cute and this will be our first race together. Can’t wait! Oh, and I just found out that my Wal-Mart carries Shot Blocks, gels, and those Sports Jelly Beans. Who knew??

Reply

Good thinking with the baked potato for lunch:) AHHHH that 5k sounds beyond fun. Good for you guys and I want to hear all about it. WAL-MART carries those things….AWESOME, thanks for letting me know!

Reply

Have fun in Cali this weekend! It sounds like you guys had a fun date night!

We’re doing a small amount of traveling…not too far though! Just to my sister in law’s house for a mother’s day shindig!

I didn’t go to bed until midnight and i am feeling it this morning!

I’ve been trying to work out 5 days this week! Almost there!

Reply

Thanks so much Laura! I hope you get some more sleep this weekend and have a blast at your SIL’s house!

Reply

I haven’t seen a pic of you with swedish fish in a while!! I have a 10k that I’m looking forward to this weekend. I’m running it with Dean :)

I went to bed at 11 last night…way too late. By eyelids feel like they weigh 37 pounds.

Reply

HAHAHA I finally felt like eating them again…this baby is making me crazy. SO SO FUN that you and Dean are running a 10k together, I can’t wait for all the pictures! Get some sleep tonight!

Reply

Love No. CA! I was born in San Francisco but we moved when I was baby, from what I understand my parents loved living there just got transfered for work. Lots of family in the Santa Rosa area and they all raised wonderful children so seems to be a good area for families. Don’t know specifically but I am pretty sure there is a strong running community. Try checking out Runners World online forums, they have a CA page and you could ask some people there – really nice people.

If I could I would be in bed by 9pm at the latest.

No traveling but I am most looking forward to my 25K trail race in my favorite local trails!

So far I cross-trained 1 day, ran 2 days, rested 1 day and not sure what I am doing today. Probably stretch and rest for my race tomorrow.

Reply

That is awesome you were born in San Fran and that you still have a lot of family up there. GOOD to know that it is a good family area. I didn’t even think about the RW forums, thanks so much. GREAT workouts this week and good luck at your race tomorrow, a 25k trail race…that is awesome!

Reply

O wow, N. Cali is so beautiful! Hope you make all the flights.

Reply

Thanks so much Allison and have a great weekend!

Reply

I hope you make all your flights!! I am traveling A TON this wkend and really wish I was flying instead! I have to drive to another state for a wedding rehearsal/dinner tonight (my husband is the best man). Then I have to drive home after the party tonight, teach aerobic 7-11am, drive back to the wedding location, and then drive home again after the evening wedding! UGH! Then on Sunday I have to teach my aerobic classes and drive to my home state to do a family get-together for Mother’s Day…and then drive back home to begin the school week. SOOOO that is a total of 24 hours of driving in 3 days covering 3 states. NOT FUN!! :o)

Reply

Thanks so much Colleen. WOW!!!! Your weekend sounds out of control but I hope you have a blast at the wedding and family get-together. 24 hours of driving…you are going to go crazy sitting still for that many hours. Good thing you will be teaching a bunch of classes!

Reply

Hahaha!! It’s hilarious that you “know” me so well! You have read my mind….I am going to go crazy sitting for that long in the car!! :o)

Reply

yum, those fish and chips look awesome. i havent had that dish in a while…might be time for us to reacquainted ;)

i’m looking forward to (hopefully) running this weekend in beautiful weather and spending time with my mama…i havent really run this week bc i’m still getting over my injuries and i’m trying to take it easy running wise till marathon training starts. I still work out 6 days a week and i’ve been cycling a lot though :)

last night was late for me..1030 pm! I usually get to bed by 930ish since i work out early morning but dinner ran later then usual..i was falling asleep on the ride home, haha.

Reply

I think you might have to go this weekend for fish and chips. Your weekend sounds perfect and you are being so smart about your recovery. You are going to be strong and healthy for Chicago!! YAY for cycling, wish we could to it together.

Reply

I lived in NorCal in the bay area and the racing scene is amazing, there are always plenty of weekend runs and a TON of trail races. San Francisco has a huge running community, I am sure you will love it if you go there!!! Plus there is pretty good weather all year round for running because of no snow :)

Reply

Thanks so much for letting me know Amanda and I have really been wanting to get into trail races wahoo! You just got me so excited…NO SNOW HALLELUJAH!

Reply

Haha I think when you’re pregnant you are allowed to eat as much weird stuff as you want – so no shame in the baked potatoes! Plus that actually sounds good for breakfast…

Reply

I am glad you agree with me ha:) Have an amazing day Katie!

Reply

I just moved from NorCal (Sacramento). Running was great there. There are races almost every weekend this time of year. The Bay Area also offers a ton of races and running groups. I love NorCal. I hope to be back there one day.

Reply

Thank you so much for commenting! SO good to hear that there are a ton of races and running groups. How about you come back if we move there and we can run together all of the time!

Reply

I live in the Sacramento area, and there are definitely LOTS of races! I love that we are only hours away from awesome places (the coast, the Bay Area, the mountains…) and you can’t beat the weather! I don’t know if you are allowed to say what area/school you are looking at, but I hope it’s near me! :P

Reply

Glad you ended your night with swedish fish, the fish theme needed that beautiful chewy treat.

Reply

It just seemed right to end with the red fish shaped sugar bombs:) Have a great day Alex!

Reply

8:15 is my bedtime too and I’m not even pregnant!

Looks like a great day, enjoy your weekend!

Reply

Seriously, 8:15 is the best time ever to go to sleep…I think I am going to stick to it. Hope you have an amazing weekend Kelsey!

Reply

i have that same plaid shirt :)

have a GREAT weekend!

Reply

I fell asleep at 6:50 for about an hour. And then my mom called me (thank goodness…6:50?!) and then watched some TV before going to bed at 11 :)

Reply

6:50…that is awesome. How cool would that have been if you slept through the entire night!

Reply

Northern California born and bred! Woo! The Bay Area running/sports/outdoorsy scene is incomparable- really! There is ALWAYS something going on and beauuutiful places to explore (run, hike, bike etc). And, hello, don’t even get me started on the crazy foodie culture! If you aren’t familiar with a local favorite Title 9 sports- check them out! My three sisters and I are all running on of their 9K races together in September. It’s going to be another gorgeous weekend here in paradise- come play!

Reply

Have such a great weekend! And is there an option of moving to Seattle that I missed???!!!! DOOOOO IIITTTTTT!!!!!

Reply

1. Your new necklace is super cute
2. My boss called me recently at 7:30pm and I was asleep-awkward! But it was seriously the longest week everrrr
3. Have a great time visiting schools. This is such an exciting time for you guys! Congrats to Billy for being so awesome :)

Reply

I went to bed at 2:30 last night (this morning)! It was opening night for my show and we had a little talk back and party. But I still had to get up to run and get some bank stuff sorted out. Adulthoooood.

Reply

My sister lives in between San Fran and Sacramento. When I went to visit last fall, we did a fun 10k trail race on Thanksgiving, and the company that organized it seems to do a lot of fun trail races, including half marathons! Brazen Racing is the name. I get sad when I get emails from them because I live all the way in Georgia.

Good luck choosing a law school!

Reply

Have fun in California this weekend! We have a bunch of friends who live in the bay area and love it there. I’m very partial to the Lake Tahoe / Sierra Eastside region – although I don’t think there are any law schools over there :-)

Reply

I live in the Sacramento area and love it! If that’s close to where you’re looking, I can point you guys in the direction of an awesome running club!

Reply

Thanks so so much! We are looking into Santa Clara…is that close by?

Reply

It’s a couple of hours. I actually just moved from that area – great weather, a couple really good areas to run, but REALLY crowded. You’ll LOVE the campus though, and as an added bonus there’s a Costco super close (as in a mile away)

Reply

That picture of your brother and niece is so cute! I hope he’s my pilot one day. It would be such a fun coincidence! I am going home to Ohio this weekend for mother’s day. :) There will be lots of fun dinners and cupcakes involved! I usually run 4 or 5 days a week…I used to run more but I wasn’t strong enough and got injured too much. Maybe I’ll get back to more days/week in the future! Have fun in Cali!!!

Reply

Born and raised in northern California. It is hands down the BEST place to live. The running community is huge! My dad founded one of the local clubs, the buffalo chips. My mom runs with Folsom trail runners and then there’s the fleet feet racing club. There is no shortage of gorgeous running paths and trails. The American River Trail is superior to the Provo river trail (of course I’m partial, haha). What school are you checking out? My brother graduated from McGeorge and I know people in law school at Davis. Which is you’re headed to Davis it’s about as bike friendly as city’s come!

Reply

WHat a fun date night!! I love lemonade….mmmm. I might need some today, now that you mentioned it :)

Cali sounds fun!

Reply

How far north!? I’m in Southern Oregon, super close to the border and girrrrrrl, if you move here you better get ready for some amazing trails and amazing running! Let me know if you venture to Oregon!!

Reply

I lived in Norhern CA for a long time, they have some great races, especially bay area. Now that I live in central CA, I have to be careful where I race in northern ca when I visit my parents, because some of those races are very hilly, but the bigger problem is elevation. Whoa.

Reply

What part of NorCal? I live in Sac.

Reply

Santa Clara…is that close by?

Reply

It’s about 2 hours away. How long are you going to be here? If you move here, I’d be willing to drive and meet you 1/2 way to run!! I love it here!! It does get warm during the summer (in Sac). There are always races and clubs here. It’s a fun place to live!

Reply

My mom is living in Northern California right now and she just loves it there :) Its so beautiful! You’ll really like it, I promise!

This week was boo on my running, I barely got out there at all, ahh. But tomorrow I am running the Doggie Dash with my BFF and her doggie so that is going to be a lot of fun.

Reply

NoCA? Yes! I am just a few minutes from NoCA! We don’t have as many races here as a large city. But we have just as many trail races as we do road races. And mountain bike races!

This weekend? I finally have a day off! It’s probably been a month since I’ve had a day off. And will probably be close to that until my next one. Good thing I love what I do!

Last night I was out at 11:00! I’m still getting use to the fact that all primetime shows come on an hour later here than they do in the Midwest. Back there I could watch them and be out at 10:00!

This week I move up to running 4 days a week per my 10K running plan. Ran Tuesday & Thursday. Will run tomorrow & Sunday.

Reply

And Cycle Oregon will come through my town in early September! Cannot wait to see it and cheer on the cyclists!

Reply

Everybody laughs at me because I am usually in bed between 7:30-8:00 during the week! I get up at 4:15 though, and I need my rest. lol.

I am running 5 days a week. Marine Corp Half Marathon next weekend!

Reply

I think Runner’s World rated the SF Bay Area as the #1 city to be a runner. I’ve done a few trail races down there (I live in Humboldt Co.) and they were nothing short of amazing. You should definitely check out the trail scene too!

Reply

Love this- good luck on the Cali trip. That will be so fun to live there and hopefully a trader joe’s will be close by! My husband is a pilot as well…so I know the fun associated with flying stand-by! Cutest picture of your niece!

Reply

Thanks so much Riley. That is AWESOME your husband is a pilot. I can’t wait to have a TJ’s…FINALLY!

Reply

I am doing zumba at 5 AM tomorrow morning for Relay for Life, and then I’m teaching zumba class at 10 at the gym. After that, I think I’ll take a nap. We also have a graduation party to attend, and then we’ll celebrate Mother’s Day with my mom.

Have a great trip!

Reply

Northern California has a GREAT racing scene!! There are also a lot of beautiful trails and a lot of trail running races of all distances. Ya’ll should definitely move here :) If you’re near Palo Alto, stop by ZombieRunner to check out the minimal running shoes and get a coffee
Is Billy looking at Santa Clara?? That’s my alma mater and it’s a wonderful school.
Just curious, do you have tater tots AND a baked potato in that picture?? As a fellow potato lover that made me happy

Reply

Megan, thank you so much for your comment. He is looking into Santa Clara and that is so cool that you went there. If we live there you better hang out with me all of the time! I wish they were tater tots…they were popcorn shrimp and super delicious!

Reply

There’s a farmers market on Sundays outside from our running store (Palo Alto is pretty close to SC). Why do I feel you two would love it here?? Oh, and be prepared, it’s gonna be nice and warm this weekend :)

Reply

OMG!!! I live in Northern CA! What school? Awesome… Happy early mothers day : )

Reply

It is Santa Clara…is that close to you?

Reply

Yes that is very close to me. Also a GREAT school! If he decides go there we can be new BFF’s! LOL

Reply

You should probably find a law school in Georgia :)

Reply

Have fun traveling this weekend!! You look so so gorgeous in that picture. Seriously Janae you are just beautiful inside and out. I just love you!

That picture of your brother and his daughter is quite possibly the cutest thing I have ever seen. LOVE!

Reply

I’ve lived in NorCal almost all my life. I love it here more than LA (where I’ve also lived), but less than San Diego. San Diego is my favorite California city. My boyfriend spent his first year of law school at Pepperdine and then transferred to UC Davis, where we are now. If Billy is looking at Davis or might want to transfer there in the future, let me know and I’ll give you my boyfriend’s email. This is such an exciting time for both of you! :)

Reply

That is awesome, thank you so much Amie. I will tell Billy about this. San Diego is incredible. Keep me updated with how you are doing and have a great weekend!

Reply

So I am completely obsessed with your blog.. my husband asks daily have you read the girls blog from Utah yet, ha ha. I hope you continue to have a wonderful weekend and nothing but safe flights.

I’m actually flying on Monday… To Kuwait!! My husband got a contracting job there and has been there for a month already.. so I’m very anxious to finally get over there with him!!!

Reply

JESSIE!!! Your comment made my day, seriously that is so sweet. KUWAIT!!!! WOW!!! That is so so cool…how long will you be there? I need details, so cool!

Reply

Well its a year long contract and once the year is up, we can decide rather or we wanna stay there or see if there is any opportunities for another country.. we shall see. Sad thing is I’ve only found one marathon there… And so not sure if ill ever be running outside due to the 110+ temperatures… Boo

YAY FOR FRIDAY! And YAY for Date Night! Glad you had fun! Have a happy and safe trip to Cali this weekend! Say “hi” to the West Coast for me! :)

i really like your yellow necklace! if fish-themed date night is in the future, i can’t wait to get married. i generally go to bed by 10 but could probably fall asleep right now (it’s 2:30 pm). yep.

Have fun on your trip!

We’ve lived in Sac for nearly 2 years now (after growing up in So Cal and school at BYU). Here’s a few thoughts on racing in NorCal.

1. Bay area where you are looking has a good mix up trail and road races. Several organizations run trail races a couple times a month in the Bay area. There seems like there is always something going on (I just wish they weren’t 2 hours away, hard to do that every weekend)

2. Out near Sac and Davis (which is a great City), there are less races and fewer long distance road races. And Sac and Davis are flat as a pancake. But within driving distance there are a number of races spread throughout the year

3. Santa Clara is positioned so that you can get a lot of places for races the day of (ex: Santa Clara to wine country/Napa is like Provo to SLC).

4. Be aware that the majority of races in NorCal are on Sunday (especially road races). That might not bother you, but if it does now you know.

As a BYU Law alum I highly recommend it if Billy got in. If not, I’d be happy to give my thoughts on picking a law school.

Last night – went to bed around 10. I’m becoming an old lady!

This weekend – SUPER stoked about the spa weekend planned with me and my madre!! It will be a fun time!

Running – going well. Getting back into the groove – 2 days running so far this week, going on 3 tomorrow. Tons of cross training!

Hope you have a wonderful weekend friend!

Reply

Who is your brother a pilot for? We are pass riding this weekend too thanks to my mommy. Not buddy passes but close enough!

Reply

I live in San Francisco and I love it! Agree with everyone above who commented on how great/moderate the weather is year-round. I’m a big fan of this store too: http://www.sportsbasement.com/ Great spot for runners! I see there’s a Sunnyvale location which is close to Santa Clara.

Reply

I live in the Bay Area and LOVE IT! The weather is perfect year round for running and you can always find a ton of racing. There are some awesome trails around too, if you are in to trail running/hiking. It depends where you are in NorCal, but the Bay Area has a ton to offer running wise. Also, a ton of BQ (or at least fast and flat) worthy races are easily reachable. :)

Reply

Nor cal born and raised :) the bay area, Sacramento, Davis, they all have some great races and running events. Actually I think all over California there are some great running opportunities, I hope you have a wonderful trip. If you move here you have to have a huge meet up with everyone from norcal, it would be amazing :)

The picture of the little girl with a huge black tie is so adorable!!
I fell asleep close to 2 am last night doing school work! I can’t wait for this quarter to be over soon!!

I live in Sacramento, California. I actually am a legal secretary. What law school are you visiting up in Northern California?

I live about 10 miles from Stanford. Running is huge, as well as cycling and triathlons. You would fit right in! Plus no altitude!

i live in sacramento, and there is a huuuuge running scene!! people are constantly out running around the parks and the capital, and we have loads of races here, too! ever heard of the CIM?? ;) it’s every year, right here in sac!! :) plus, the weather’s great for running, too. not that i’m trying to sell you on living here or anything ;)

Reply

I live in Sacramento. We have a pretty good racing season and this is the 30th anniversary of the California International Marathon. It is supposed to be one of the best courses to BQ on because it is a net downhill course. Where in Northern CA are you looking?

Reply

Hey! I am a first time poster, I am from Utah and have been living in Northern California for the last three years for my husbands law school. He attended Santa Clara Law School. Anyway we are obsessed with running here! fabulous running weather all year long, great races. we got into trail running while living here which was a blast. There are so many amazing places so close by when you live here . That was how we did the tourist thing, we signed up for various races in the bay area and were able to see them while running.
I am so bummed we are moving in a week- seriously

as far as road races we did the Big Sur Marathon which was crazy beautiful, along highway one. a really big race but so well organized and sort of like a big party. I have had lots of friends run the nike womens and loved it.
there is a rock and roll race and a marathon run in napa.

good luck with your search!

I live in NorCal – moved here from Boston 1.5 years ago. The racing scene is awesome! I *almost* burnt myself out by registering for every exciting thing I found from the minute I entered the state!! You guys would love it here :-)

Hey Janae! I live in Mountain View (Penninsula/South Bay) and the running out here is great! I saw you guys are looking at Santa Clara – I’m actually in school p/t for my MBA at nights! There’s a great mix of road races and trail races – and between the san francisco scene and the san jose scene, there’s tons of races to choose from. Let me know if you have any questions about the area, or about SCU. Hope your trip was great!! :)

Thank you so much! So good to hear such great things about it! I will have tons of questions for you I am sure!
