As soon as I got home from work yesterday I grabbed a handful of grapes, my computer and got under the covers. I had a mission and that was to catch up with Modern Family.
The Disneyland episode was the funniest episode I have ever seen and the part where Phil and Luke get so excited because they find out that Luke is tall enough to ride Indiana Jones made me laugh for 3 minutes straight. I feel like I can really relate with Phil…especially his love for cotton candy and roller coasters.
I fell asleep for a little while and before I knew it Billy was waking me up to go for our run together.
We did 7 miles on our favorite road and it was HOT outside. Our overall pace was 8:28 and it was so nice to not be carrying around my huge phone to use as an ipod on the run. My new shuffle was perfect and I love the length of the headphones that come with the shuffle.
We decided to have a really chill night and do the least amount of things as possible. We watched our gameshows (why do I become addicted to things so easily?), painted my toenails, packed and cut up watermelon. Dinner time came and my body needed pancakes and eggs.
For some reason I hate measuring pancake ingredients and just take a guess with the amount of bisquick, eggs and milk to add. Usually this method works out for me but not so much last night…just a little dry but nothing a 1/2 cup of syrup couldn’t fix.
Billy had another softball game and they won, I wonder if it embarrasses him a lot or just a little bit when I make up special cheers for him and perform them when he plays well.
It is an early morning for us! We had to leave the house by 5 to get to the airport on time. We will be touring Santa Clara law school today, exploring the city via our running shoes and hanging out with THIS GIRL!!! She is in the same area this weekend and so I am stalking her down to hang out.
What is your run this morning? Long runs or races?
Modern Family fans out there? Did you see the Disneyland episode?
What are your favorite brands of running/workout shorts?
When was the last time you went to Disneyland or an amusement park? Any in your area? Favorite ride?
