I told you that we have now transformed Thursday night into date night right? I seriously look forward to it all week long and I even change out of my ‘after school pajamas’ for it…that means it is a special occasion. We are VIP members (aka we just entered our names on their website and get emails about special deals) at the restaurant Happy Sumo and tonight they had 2 for 1 on the below items.
This was perfect because 3 of the rolls included things that I could eat since the only fish they had in them were shrimp and crab.
My hot date:
And me with my heavenly mango/bacon/cream cheese with mango dipping sauce roll. I guarantee at least a weekly dream about that roll.
A close-up because it deserves to be drooled over.
Billy and I went on our second date ever to this restaurant and a little while later I got a job there (for Utah peeps…The Happy Sumo) and worked there two years. So many good memories in that little restaurant, especially the one where I was dared to eat a golf ball sized chunk of wasabi for $150….you better believe I did it. All of the burning in my esophagus made it so worth it when I was able to pay rent that month.
Awesomeness #2 of the day:
Billy’s new running shoes. How cool are these? Especially when people see him whiz by them going 13 mph.
They are the Brooks Green Silence and they are the same shoes that some of the Brooks team members wore in the Olympic Marathon Trials this year.
Can’t wait to see what he can do in these shoes for our 5k this weekend (pray he gets over his cold asap).
New HRG baby post HERE! 20 Weeks.
Favorite sushi roll?!?! Not a sushi fan….what is your favorite Japanese food dish?
Where did you go on your last ‘date’? Any fun dates planned for this weekend?
What color are your running shoes? Any Brooks fans out there? Do you ever buy your shoes online?
-Billy got a sweet deal on these ones at runningwarehouse.com
