I hit my sugar limit but it was more than worth it.

What do normal human beings do for dinner when their family doesn’t live minutes away?  We got over just in time to let my sister know to double the noodles because Billy and I were there to eat.

We have another curly to add to the blog today, my nieces adorable friend:)

DSC 0378

My sister is strange and mixes in the sauce with the noodles.  We grew up always topping the noodles with the sauce (does that make sense?).  It was beyond delicious though.  She used whole wheat noodles and made some veggies too.  I didn’t want to fill up because I had something else on my mind.

DSC 0380

I forced Billy to drive clear to the other side of town because there was something that I needed.  I googled it earlier to find out the exact time that the ‘now serving hot donuts’ sign was going to be on because if that sign is on you get a free one too!

DSC 0383

One dozen glazed donuts for 2 people and 2 assorted donuts just for me (no sharing allowed and he knew that going into it). The worker made sure to ask me if I still wanted a maple bar instead of the small maple donut because it was 29 cents more….I stared at him and told him that money does not matter when it comes to things like this.  I would go into debt for that maple bar if it came down to it.

DSC 0389

I actually went a little more crazy (probably because I crave donuts 24/7) than usual and ended up feeling a little sick.  #worthit.  I know you didn’t think it was possible (I didn’t either) but my body does in fact have a sugar limit.

We ate our donuts with some milk while watching UFC cage fighting, my perfect idea of a date.

I am really sorry to put a picture of a foot just below those gorgeous donuts but I have to tell you about Billy’s weirdness.  When he is just sitting around normal his toes naturally curve back like that.  It feels weird to him to straighten them? This is weird right?

Speaking of feet.  They say your feet can grow a 1/2 size while pregnant.  It is true and my feet are now officially bigger than my husbands.

—————————————–

I need to know what your guess is on the latest HRG BABY POST!!

—————————————-

When you make spaghetti do you mix the sauce in with the noodles before your serve it or add the sauce on top of the noodles when it is on your plate?

Do you have a Krispy Kreme near you?  Do you have another delicious donut shop near you?

-It is a sad thing but Utah does not have the best donut shops (or any for that matter in our area) besides Krispy Kremes….they were really delicious though.

Do you have cute feet?  Anything weird about your feet?  Do you think feet are gross?

What was the last thing you watched on tv?

I am so jealous of your donuts! For my bday I plan on getting a dozen donuts and eating them all myself.
They closed down all the Krispy Kremes near me. Now you can only find them at the grocery store, but it’s not the same. I love Dunkin Donuts.
My feet are no cute, at all. I wear a size 11 running shoe. Nothing cute about that.

We top the noodles w/the sauce, I totally had to teach my husband when we were dating…it drove me nuts to do it the other way;-)

I do not have cute feet, at all. Size 11, second and third toe are the same size, frequently missing toenails–I blame it on running, but my feet weren’t so pretty before I started running either;-)

Have a great Tuesday Janae! Were there any donuts leftover for breakfast?

Growing up we always put the sauce on top of the noodles but when I met my boyfriend, his family mixed the sauce and noodles. I like that so much better that I do that all the time now. Sorry to my mom for switching over!

Now I REALLY want a donut! We have so many donut shops in NY but I still think Krispy Kreme is the best. Hands down. I love me some glazed!

The last thing I watched on TV was the NY Rangers game with my boyfriend. Neither of us is really into hockey, but its the playoffs so what the heck?!

I am no longer a donut person. In high school I worked at a donut shop where I would eat the fresh from the oven donuts and more munchkins than on should eat in a lifetime over the course of the 6 months I worked there. Now, I can’t eat donuts anymore.

Reply

Yum donuts! I love Krispy Kremes hot, glazed donuts. I also LOVE Dunkin Donuts strawberry frosted with sprinkles :) They are great. I prefer to go to Dunkin Donuts as they also have fantastic coconut flavored coffee.
I always put my noodles first, then sauce and then grated cheese. However, I typically end up mixing it up as I start eating.

Reply

Krispy Kreme used to only be a “vacation food” before they came to Pittsburgh. I remember one trip to the outer banks when my cousin and I would eat a dozen a day… #fatkids. You can’t beat the free warm donuts!

Reply

My toes do that too! I always thought it was because I have a high arch but I have no idea.

I had a lot of donut eating contests when I was in high school so now they’re not my favorite. I will still eat them by the dozen but usually just buy other stuff.

Reply

I put the sauce on top, but that’s because I often love the noodles plain with just salt and parmesan on top.

Hope you don’t take offense to this, but I am not a big krispy kreme fan.

All feet are gross!

I just started watching Make it or Break it after reading about you watching it awhile back. With my background in competitive figure skating, thought i’d find it interesting. That show is addicting!!! ABC Family has a way of sucking you into their programs and not wanting to turn the tv off!

Reply

One of the biggest things I miss about Ohio was the donut shop in Springfield, where I worked. They seriously had the best donuts I’ve ever eaten in my life! Krispy Kreme is good, but they are nothing compared to Schuler’s! ;) Oh man, now I want a chocolate creme-filled donut!!!

Reply

I usually put the sauce on top of the noodles. In fact, we had spaghetti last night too.
Don’t think less of me, but I do not like donuts. I know, the horror.
I hate feet. I don’t like other people’s feet or my own. I don’t like when people touch my feet either. Clearly I have issues.

Reply

I pretty much have the ugliest feet on the planet! Not only do I have bunions, but my second toe is so much longer than my big toe. My husband calls me “finger feet” because my toes actually look like fingers. Attractive, right?? :)

Reply

I live in NH, no Krispy Kremes anywhere near! When we visit family in Georgia, we eat Krispy Kreme for dinner a few times while there. Of course, when they are fresh and warm!!! Yum!
I hate feet. It’s true. It’d also true that the more/farther I run, the uglier my feet get. Good thing I think they are gross to begin with! :)

Reply

I always top my noodles with the sauce! And do I have cute feet?! Oh goodness no! I’m pretty sure a week after my very first “long” run 4 years ago is when my feet lost their cuteness.. no regrets :) Have a good day janae!

Reply

We have Tim Hortons here which is like at every block, but I’m over it! I just hit up Starbucks, and it’s more for the bevies! I haven’t had a donut in so long, but now you got me thinking…

Reply

My dad’s feet always curve like that, too! I pointed out that it was weird and he seemed to have no idea that it was different from everyone else. I have a huge gap between my big toe and the rest of my toes on both of my feet…but other than that my feet seem to be pretty normal.

I love Krispy Kreme but my favorite donut is definitely a boston creme :) — custard not cream filling!!

Reply

I can’t handle Krispy Kremes (or donuts in general) for that reason- the sugar hangover kills me! I have to say, I’m with your sister on making pasta…always always stir in the sauce. I hate getting a bite of dry pasta!

Reply

Donuts = delicious!

I mix in my tomato sauce too, that way someone doesn’t hog all the sauce!

Reply

I haven’t ever craved donuts…until you became obsessed with them! I have the ugliest feet in the world, but I am so proud of them! I have numerous photos of them with gross running ailments; my husband gets pretty creeped out when he’s looking at photos and comes across one!

Reply

ohh i LOVE krispy kreme!! i haven’t had it in forever though. i definitely need to get on that stat!
i always thought my feet looked alright until my dad and brother started making fun of me for my “crooked big toe”. haha.

Reply

I think it’s a BOY!
We used to have a krispie kreme down the road but they shut it down! I loved going and getting fresh from the fryer glazed “appetizer” donuts while waiting in line for the star of the morning: a glazed chocolate donut.

Reply

Growing up we always put sauce on top of our noodles. Now that I’m a grown up I always mix the sauce and noodles together in the pot before serving. There aren’t any donut places close to me–they do sell Krispy Kreme’s at the gas station though, but they’re never warm. I’m not big on donuts anyway, I’d choose a Snickers or Reese’s cup over them any day ;) My feet are big (10) for my short frame (5’4″) but I love them cuz they always take me where I need to go!

Reply

Ooh, I totally agree on the doughnut shops in Utah. We moved here from Sacramento, where there were several good, old school doughnut shops, where you could get a fantastic cake doughnut. Here, not so much. I do have to say Tasty’s is a pretty good choice, if you have them down that way (or if you are ever passing through Layton)

Reply

Now I cannot stop thinking about Krispy Kreme donuts. Thank you very much :)

Reply

Both, sometimes I mix and sometimes I don’t!
I don’t have one by me, and are you ready for this?! I have never had a Krispy Kreme donut! But a grocery here bakes really yummy donuts Saturday mornings while I am shopping and tempts me. Come to think of it its been a while so this weekend I might need to get one.
I don’t need I have cute feet, my big toe it really big. But my Mom has cute feet, I was always jealous!
I watched election results last night…lame I know. haha

Reply

Sauce is not mixed in – mainly because I eat whole wheat the the bf white pasta. I love Krispy Kreme (my southern family introduced me to them) but can only have them when they are hot. We don’t have any near us in NY!

Also Southern Favorite – Krystals (spelling) best mini cheeseburgers EVER.

I don’t understand Billy’s feet. Haha.

Reply

Billy’s feet are so strange. Then again, my feet are pretty gross, so I shouldn’t comment.

I usually mix my noodles and sauce.

Reply

haha we usually put the sauce on top too, especially with spaghetti! And I actually cannot remember the last time I had a donut! I can’t anymore because I can’t have gluten, but I never ate them because one was never enough! Haha not all of us can eat a dozen and look as gorgeous as you! I’ve decided your body is fueled by sugar (and string cheese), what are your secrets??

Reply

I love donute, LOVE! I’m actually very lucky that there is no Krispy Kreme near me or I’d probably get dia-beetus…. Jeesh.
I am a sauce-topper because then I can have as much or as little as I like, legit…
My feet are so icky. Feet in general are icky….!
Last thing I watched on TV was baseball, per the norm!

Reply

Mix in the sauce!

I wish we had a Krispy Kreme near us! I love those little golden glazed donuts of happiness! In Boston we basically only have Dunkin Donuts – about 6,000 of them!

My fiance made me watch Rattlesnake Republic last night on Animal Planet. It’s about people in Texas who catch rattlesnackes for a living. And that is why I like alone nights with the tv so I can watch Make it or Break it and Modern Family!

Reply

I mix the sauce in with the noodles. It seems to have better flavor in my opinion. I have a Krispy Kreme right down the street from my house and when it first opened they had to have traffic control because the lines were outrageous! I only go there once in a while but hate that Krispy Kreme is hard to avoid when I am running a local route near my house :) I am always tempted to stop but I don’t!

Reply

Oh my god, I want donuts every single time I see them on your blog. I might love them almost as much as you do. We always top our noodles with sauce, and that way everyone can get their perfect sauce to noodle ratio going.

Sorry your feet have grown so much! While it’s fun to have an excuse to go shopping, not so much if you’re only going to be able to wear said shoes for a few months before things get back to normal.

Reply

Mmmm now I want spaghetti with the sauce mixed in and donuts!! We don’t have a Krispy Kreme anywhere near where I live. I’d say the closest one would be a solid 12-15 hour drive and over the border!

Thanks for the advanced notice of the foot picture.. haha feet gross me out SO badly, I can’t even look at them! I throw up in my mouth a little when my bf cuts his toenails, I can’t even be in the same room.. EW! My feet are cute-ish, as far as feet go I guess.. They’re pretty small but wide so they’re kind of funny looking. I just don’t like feet! LOL!

Reply

I always mix the sauce in. But then again I hardly ever make pasta so the less dishes to clean sounds better to me. So by adding it straight to the noodles I dont have to worry about heating it up in another pan.

We dont have krispie kreme which is ok cuz they are not my fav. We DO have Peter Pan donuts and they are SO SO good. And now that brooklyn flea started on the weekends just a block away from us we have Dough and they are even better! (We are spoiled cuz we have some of the best food in ny)

I have never seen that with the foot thing, it is like he was in heels all day and his feet formed to that shape(hehe)

We just watched the new Marley Documentary on appletv. It was really good.

Reply

I always mix in the sauce with the pasta instead of topping them. That is kind of weird, sorry Billy lol
I have really big feet (size 10) and they’re super skinny and narrow. It’s so annoying going shoe shopping.
I have no idea where there is a krispy kreme around here!

Reply

my family always mixed in the sauce with the noodles but Kevins family tops the noodles with sauce…Kevin is Italian so he claims his way is right…but I can go for both ways (i need it drenched in sauce no matter what)

You make me want krispy kreme so bad!! No donut shops around here (lots of awesome bakeries though…for some odd reason i never see donuts there) so if we want a donut fix its Dunkin donuts…as long as i can have my munchkin fix, i’m ok ;)

umm, no. my feet are not attractive..mostly because of all the running but also because I have big feet and a slight phobia of pedicures, lol!

Reply

I actually don’t like spaghetti. When my mom would make it I would eat the noodles plain or put some soy sauce on it. weird. I know.

I wish we had a KK near me! I don’t really like any of the donut shops here in Houston..BUTTTT I am going to Austin this weekend and they have KK and another donut place that’s supposed to me top 10 in America, so I’m def going to try and hit that up!

I wouldn’t say my feet are hideous, but they aren’t cute either.

The last thing I watched was a One Tree Hill rerun.

Reply

-I grew up in a house where we always topped our own spaghetti, or any pasta dish actually. My fiance thinks this is weird.
-I really really don’t like my feet, and running doesn’t help that (hello dead toenails!). Gross.
-Last thing I watched on tv? baseball game last night!

Reply

My feet do that too! It only makes us faster =)

Reply

Oh, those donuts have me so hungry right now! They look delish! Need to find a Krispy Kreme near me pronto…

I have weird feet. My arches are crazy high and I have a broken toe (the fourth one in) that curls under. But that said, my feet are super cute. :)

I do mix in a little sauce into my pasta, just to get it wet, and then I put more on top. You can never have too much sauce.

Last thing I watched on TV – House Crashers. Love that show.

Reply

I grew up with the sauce being mixed in :) I’ve never had a krispy kreme, the horror!
I just have really big feet, and they definitely grew one full size between all of my pregnancies!

Reply

Running has destroyed my feet, always a sore spot. My sister hated sauce so we never had sauce mixed in, even at a restaurant she would order pasta plain with just butter. if they put the little green topping on it she would flip out and have to send it back, hilarious.

Reply

I live in Winston Salem (NC) which is where the krispy kreme headquarters is haha. i had NEVER had krispy kreme when i moved here and my boss and coworkers couldnt believe it that we all took a group trip there at like 8 in the morning so i could expereince it. haha, they take this stuff seriously here i guess!

Reply

that is weird about his foot! cracked me up though.

is your t-shirt from old navy? if so, we are twinsies, I wore that shirt yesterday tooo!!!!

Also, I had a dream last night you and I ran a race together. Isn’t that weird?? Or wait did it actually happen?

Reply

Crazy but my feet got smaller when I was pregnant. I use to wear an 8 and while I was pregnant with my second child my feet would swell, as soon as I had him all of my shoes were too big. I now wear a 7/7 1/2.

We add the sauce over the top. I like a lot of sauce and feel like I never make enough for a box of noodles.

Reply

I’ve never really considered my feet before … but no, they’re not cute. Does anyone have cute feet?! Other than babies in cute little Nikes?

I always serve noodles and sauce separately. When my mom did this for us as a kid, it allowed my sister and I to use minimum sauce and maximum cheese :)

Reply

I always mix the sauce in with the noodles.
We used to have a Krispy Kreme by my house but for some reason it just didn’t make it. It’s now a Chick Fil A. Go figure.
My feet are not cute. Little but not necessarily cute. Especially since I lived in my running shoes all weekend and now have a few blisters…ewww.

Reply

Sauce on top of the noodles so it stays saucy & doesn’t get absorbed by the noodles.

We have Krispy Kreme (they even do preschool field trips), but sadly, the best donut shop closed: Montgomery Donuts (named for our county). We used to get them after choir practice every Sunday. Mmm…

Feet don’t bother me, but I have 3 weird toes on my left foot that are sorta missing the top joint and barely have toenails (pedicures look really wacky). The big and small toes on that foot are fine, though, and my right foot is normal (except for the black toenail, of course).

Last show I saw on TV: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse cartoon. Last show I *chose* to watch on TV: University of Maryland women’s lacrosse team winning the ACC championship game :D

So I drempt about donuts last night! lol. We must be on the same wavelength. Those look sooooo good. My husband swerves across all lanes of traffic when he sees the ‘hot’ sign on at KK (and as you know, that is not a good place, traffic wise, to be swerving).

Then when I left the gym this morning I could smell the bakeries donuts. That was just torture. Speaking of, you need to get some donuts from the Lehi bakery. SO good. They have the yummiest maple bars. They have maple frosting on them, not a glaze and it just takes it up a notch. Perhaps they will change your mind about donuts in Utah!

Oh and Billy’s feet are weird ;)

Reply

Noodles and sauce separate until leftover time…pack it all in together.
My feet are officially an entire size bigger, after pregnancy.
My feet are officially fugly. So ashamed of it. But, in my old age, I’ve gotten over the horror of it. So far my kids’ feet are cute like their daddy’s…he would not approve of me saying his feet are cute…

Reply

Next time you’re up in Salt Lake, go get some donuts from Banbury Cross on 7th East (near Trolley Square). They are so delicious, especially if you go in the morning and eat them right out of the oven (greaser?), and especially the maple bar. Also, try the Dunford Donuts chocolate cake donuts you can find at Costco. They may even sell them in Provo. Check em out!

Reply

My husband does the opposite-his toes curl under when he is just hanging out. We weird!

Reply

I think I warned you about your feet growing in another post. No one tell you about that. And mine never went back. Sorry.
No Krispy Kream around here, but we have a great family owned donut shop that is amazing. And the donuts are huge.
I have runners feet, so they are ugly.

Reply

for the ragnar relay, they were giving BOXES of krispy kreme donuts away to each participant at one exchange. i must not be pregnant bc they didnt s0und appealing. of course, it was 3 in the afternoon and 90 degrees too so maybe that had something to do with it.

Reply

Sorry, your feet will grow! LOL!!!!!! Hormones can cause your joints to spread even in your feet, not to mention all the water retention. :)

Reply

Add the sauce after fo sho.

PS: Utah does have one of the best doughnut shops called Provo Bakery. Have you not been there? It is sooooo gooooood. You know I mean it b/c of all of those o’s. I promise you will not regret it.

Hey cute Girl! I was just taking a break from studying for my Kinesiology final and was cracking up because Billy either has shortened Flexor Digitorum longus and Flexor Hallucis Longus muscles or those muscles are extremely tight and need to be stretched. Congrats on your run on Saturday and I am so excited to here what you are having. My guess is a Girl!!

Reply

Billy and I grew up in neighboring cities and the donut shops in CA have ruined me. I compare all donuts to them and whenever we go down to visit I always make sure we stop at a donut shop. The are a little crunchy on the outside and I hate that donuts here in UT have frosting on them, nasty.

Reply

My first metatarsal is held together with a pin and I can feel it shift when I stretch. It’s super-weird! Not as weird as Billy’s feet though ; )

Reply

Ok, this is hilarious because my husband does that with his toes when he is standing!! He says it’s because he has flat feet so it feels funny to stand with his whole foot touching the floor. I don’t really get it. Boys are weird…

Reply

Whoa! That is crazy about Billy’s toes!! Probably his secret to speed ;).

I did not know that Krispy Kreme gave out free donuts! I like other donuts places better than KK…. like our little local bakery place.

I mix sauce + noodles…. but my parents serve it separately. Funny how you notice those things too!

I watched some of the Today Show while I was getting ready for work this morning! I such a grown up HAHA!!

Reply

Hmmmmm, I am going to say that you are having a boy :) Little baby Athol :D I just had to say that, it is from a VERY funny movie, do you know which one??? Anywho, I can’t wait to hear the news!! For some reason Krispy Kreme donuts make me sick…don’t know why! When they first came to town I was so excited to try them and they didn’t agree with me, haven’t had one since! Ream’s bakery in Springville has WONDERFUL chocolate cake donuts, you should give them a whirl! That is strange that Billy’s toes do that :D I think pretty much all feet are weird!

Reply

I grew up in North Carolina, home of Krispy Kreme, so they are the Ur donut, as far as I am concerned. When I think of donuts, I think of Krispy Kremes. We used to sell them for school fundraisers, and on those days the whole school smelled like donuts. At first it was awesome, but after a few hours (and consuming a few donuts), it was kind of gross.

And Billy’s feet are strange. All feet are strange, but those are really strange.

Reply

I put the sauce on top of the pasta but my boyfriend mixes it in. Both work for as long as it tastes good!
I love doughnuts! YUM. There are a lot of doughnut places in New York, even guys in carts selling coffee, doughnuts and muffins in the morning.
This past weekend Ryan and I watched all the episodes on Modern Family. I’m in love with that show now!

Reply

-Sauce (but not a lot) on top of the noodles. My husband does the mixing thing.
-I don’t think I have a Krispy Kreme near me in CA, and didn’t in NJ, but I used to in NY. They were really good hot. There seem to be a lot of donut shops in SoCal, Yum Yum Donuts is the closest.
-Maybe Billy’s feet are primed for fore-foot striking and speed.
-Watching Breaking Bad on Netflix.

Reply

There aren’t any Krispy Kremes in Chicago, but we do have a TON of Dunkin Donuts (one on every corner, it seems like)…and the Donut Vault and DoRite Donuts, which are gourmet donut shops. SO DELICIOUS.

Reply

I worked at Tim Hortons throughout high school and part of university and used to go home smelling like donuts (trust me, this is not a good thing) so I don’t get too excited about donuts anymore :) But glazed were my favorite and I always loved when I was assigned to fill and decorate the donuts.

Reply

Oh my gosh – my feet are horrifying. I was actually thinking when I saw that picture of Billy that I would never allow a picture of my foot to be posted on the internet. Everything about them is wrong!

Reply

I’m terrified to get preggo for that reason alone. if my feet get any bigger, I’ll be able to be classified as a duck.

Reply

When you come to Arizona, there is a place called “bosa donuts” that everyone RAVES about! You will have to check it out!

Reply

I always grew up putting it on top, but now I mix. I guess I’m growing! lol

Reply

Hahaha- I can just imagine everyone checking out their feet after reading this. Feet are so weird. My toes look alright, but I have wide food & can’t buy certain shoes because of it.

I never mix the sauce with the noodles… reminds me of school lunch spaghetti, which I wasn’t very fond of :).

I watched Celebrity Apprentice. I’m a reality tv junkie… love Survivor, Celebrity Apprentice, Amazing Race, Dancing with the Stars, Chopped, etc.

Reply

I top the noodles with the sauce (LOTS of sauce!).
The last TV show I watched was How I Met Your Mother.
And I gots me some ugly feet, hehe.

Reply

My feet used to be really cute. Like, I could’ve been a foot model…for real! I think it’s possible that Billy’s toe situation helps him run fast…a sort of built-in propulsion thing.

I wore a 7.5 shoe in all types before kids. 4 kids later and I keep pretending I’m still an 8.5 when I’m really a 9 now :P

Reply

We also TOP our spaghetti with sauce–no mixing allowed beforehand! haha.

I don’t like donuts…..so sorry :( And yes, I have weird feet with bunions b/c of ballet and pointe shoes!

Reply

All I can think about is donuts now…thank you. With only an orange and granola bar left here at work, I am really sad now.

Reply

I mix the sauce in the noodles for my kids, I top mine, and my husband throughly mixes his in on his plate.

O.my.goodness. I am so jealous of your donuts. There no good donut shops around here, one of the grocery stores is alright. I suppose this is good or I might weigh a million pounds. Every once in awhile I hit my sugar limit. Normally I have nooo problems though :)

Cute feet. Absolutely not. Running has taken its toll on them…however my little toe on my right foot overlaps the 4th toe. It’s pretty weird. Feet are ehh to me I don’t want your feet in my face, but I don’t think they’re gross.

I don’t remember what I last watched on TV but last night’s episode of Make It or Break It is calling my name when my kids are napping!

Reply

I love your niece’s expression in the background! My sister’s feet grew a full size when she was pregnant. :)

Ok, so you & Billy need to run the Krispy Kreme race that take places at NC State each year. Craig graduated from NC State & said the race is pretty awesome…I mean, just the fact that people accomplish running after eating a dozen donuts is pretty amazing to me :)

Reply

My feet officially grew half a size with each child (I stopped at 2!!!) and they have stayed that way :-( I miss being a UK size 5!!!!!

Reply

I have to disagree about no good donut shops in Utah. Go to Banbury Cross in Salt Lake (by Liberty Park on 700 East). Their donuts are the best I have ever had. It’s best to get up here in the morning though because they run out of some flavors fast! They make a bunch of flavors of donut holes too so you can eat like 20 of those and not feel bad :p. But the donut holes tend to go even faster than the donuts.

Reply

OMG. Yum! Did you eat them all?! I would not be able to resist…

Reply

I grew up with my Mom mixing the sauce in with the noodles before serving. I do the opposite now!

Just a little FYI about your feet – yes they grow during pregnancy and the longer distances you run! My feet were a size 7 before pregnancy. Two years later and after a big jump in mileage running, I now am a size 8 or 8.5 in sneakers! CRAZY!

Reply

I am a pediatric ortho nurse, and our surgeon says that as people get older their arches flatten out. Therefore the feet lenthen. Just a fact of life.

Some time very soon she really will hit 6 or 9 or 12 mtnohs (depends on the kid it seems) and suddenly enter that “cute phase” everyone is telling you about. Really. And besides, those cheeks! Despite the ear-piercing scream that had to accompany them, SO CUTE!! :)

ahhh yummy donuts!! there’s not krispy kreme around here which makes me sad :( their donuts are the best!! its funny my good friend who’s preggers too also craves donuts..hmmmm

We have a lot of local donut places here, and krispy kreme, dunkin’ donuts, etc. You would love it!

Billy’s foot totally freaked me out! It looks like a fake foot made out of rubber. Sorry, Billy, no offense. ;) I don’t think I have cute feet at all – they are little (I wear a 5.5), but not cute. Zumba-ing all the time doesn’t make cute feet.

Reply

For a moment I thought that was a photo of your foot until I saw those hairs!

I mix the sauce with the noodles, I do have many KK near me but avoid them like the plague because I have a slightly addictive personality & I am okay with feet though I never wear shoes which show my toes to work. The last think I watched on TV was a program about the Mississippi. I had no idea how long that river is nor how deep!

“We ate our donuts with some milk while watching UFC cage fighting, my perfect idea of a date.” Some people may never understand a loving relationship like this. My husband and I are similar, except ours would be: We ate our matching bowls of mixed cereal while watching reruns of Downton Abbey and the Game of Thrones.

Reply

Am I the only that is going to mention Billy’s freaky feet? have never seen toes curl like that!! It is the strangest thing. I mean, my feet are far from normal! I have a half toenail on one foot and the other is just about ready to die off. But wow, he has some funky feet! I wonder if they help him run faster?? In which case, I wish I had curling toes too!

Reply

One word: Spudnuts! They are so yummy, better than Krispy Kreme, in my opinion, and lower in fat and calories because they’re made with potato flour and baked differently than regular doughnuts. I’d say if you’re ever in Idaho, you must try some, but I think there are places in Utah that have Spudnuts, too!

Oh man so many delicious doughnuts!!

We live in Missouri but went to Atlanta this weekend so my husband and son could go to the UFC fights. They had close seats to the cage and loved it! My daughter & I went shopping instead of attending the fights :-). Also wanted to let you know that we went to a delicious frozen yogurt place called Yogli-Mogli in Atlanta. Ever heard of it? I totally thought of you as I loaded my cup to the top with all sorts of delicious toppings!

When you make spaghetti do you mix the sauce in with the noodles before your serve it or add the sauce on top of the noodles when it is on your plate? Sauce in the pan with the noodles all mixed in together.

Do you have a Krispy Kreme near you? Do you have another delicious donut shop near you? I had a few Krispy Kreme locations to pick from in my previous city. Now I don’t have any! So sad. I have finally tracked down the best donuts shop around. It’s two towns over but totally worth the occasional drive.

It looks like Billy has tight extensor tendons. Do his toes relax when his ankle is less extended (like, if he flexed his foot to 90 degrees as if he were standing upright)? I don’t imagine any problems would come from this besides perhaps irritation of the tendon sheath (these tendons work like cables through pulleys) or maybe more stress on his metatarsal heads (the ball of his foot). I wouldn’t worry about it unless something starts hurting.

Amazingly, my feet are really pretty. Size 7 (even though I am 5’6″), normal arches, straight little toes all in line, no toenail issues! I am obsessive about toenail care and I actually cut them before I get a pedicure because I don’t want the nail tech to do it wrong!

I live in Krispy Kreme’s home state! Best doughnuts ever. I replaced many a high school lunch with Krispy Kreme doughnuts (cheaper than a dollar menu meal! And much more delicious).
Have you heard of the Krispy Kreme Challenge? You run 2 miles to Krispy Kreme eat a dozen doughnuts and run back.

Fun/gross foot fact: your feet can produce 2 pints of sweat during an hour long dance class. That’s gross.

I’ve been bowsing on-line more than three hours lately, yet I never discoveered any interesting article like yours.
It is lovely price enough for me. In my view, if alll website owners and
bloggers made just right content material as you did, the net will probably be much more useful than ever before.

my wife’s feet do the same kind of curve but that doesn’t stop them from stretching out to a size 12 when weight is applied. People marvel because like you, her feet are bigger than mine. I only wear size 8 so the contrast is quite obvious, a full inch longer when we place our feet sole to sole. I must say that they are actually quite attractive.
