Billy, don’t worry I hold onto my iPad very tightly and I will never ever drop it from the stair climber that is 10 feet above the ground. Reading makes the time fly by as I climb up stairs. The little book holder on the one and only stairclimber at my gym is broken so I have to resort to the death grip. In case you haven’t noticed, we kind of have an obsession with Apple products.
Why is it so much harder to do other forms of cardio for an hour compared to running? Please give me the answer.
After the gym I had a hot date. Billy bought a groupon deal for Smash Burger and I know I say this over and over again but you really have to believe me this time, this was one of my all-time favorite meals. The burger was perfection, on a whole wheat bun with the spiciest jalepeno’s and grilled onions. I had the wedge salad on the side and I am pretty sure I could live off of this for the rest of my life.
I wish I would have taken a close up picture of the salad because it deserves a post all by itself in order to describe how good it was…cheese, bacon, red onion, tomatoes and a creamy dressing….yes.
SmashBurger, I will be back tomorrow for the full wedge salad.
And what do we have here? Look what was directly next door to Smash Burger. What a coincidence that I even had a buy one get one free coupon in my purse waiting to be used.
Billy is a purist and only gets one flavor and one type of topping (tangerine tango with granola) and I had 3 flavors and 9 different types of toppings (I only fill up my cup half way with yogurt and then layer on the toppings). The little ball things are called Bobo balls and they are filled with fruit juice and pop when you bite them, takes me back to my Gusher days in elementary school (and last week).
Meat, salad and sugar….Billy has learned the way to my heart. I guess it is pretty easy to get to my heart.
After dinner one of my bestest friends ever and her fiancee came over to drop off my bridesmaid dress….please fit please fit please fit. Most gorgeous couple ever.
Only 5 hours and 40 minutes of work today, I don’t know why i call it work because I really do love every second of it and today we are playing soccer outside….better believe I brought my cleats.

I agree about walking stairs. I have never been on a stairmaster, but I literally get winded walking up two flights of stairs. And this is the same person than can run multiple marathons in one year. What the heck??

That burger sounds delicious. The best meal I had lately was last night! It’s restaurant week in Boston so 3 course meal for a much cheaper price. Started with thai chicken satays, then extra cheesy extra crunchy mac n cheese (bacon was the crunch) and finished with a nutella banana chocolate crepe. I left in a food coma with a banana chocolate food baby.

I had some fun jobs in college and law school, but as far as real jobs go, the one I have now is probably my favorite. I like the type of work that I do and the hours aren’t too bad (for a lawyer anyway). I love Groupon and buy them all the time. Last year I got an amazing full day at a super nice hotel spa for about 1/4 of what it would have been otherwise. We’ve gotten some good food deals too. I got married in May. Our anniversary is coming up on May 8th.

I actually love my current job. I work at a law firm, but it’s so much more lax than most firms I’ve worked for and no one is pretentious at all. It’s the people that make the job, and the hours aren’t insane (unlike some firms I’ve worked for, where you’d out in 12-14 hour days and were tired all the time). My dream job would be to be a personal trainer/ fitness instructor a la Biggest Loser. I pretty much want to BE Jillian Michaels!

Last night, we grilled seasoned turkey burgers and topped them with goat cheese and grilled red, yellow and green bell peppers. Served with fresh green beans, sauteed mushrooms and a spinach salad. We got married in February, which is funny because I never thought we would get married in the winter months. However we had to if we wanted Adam’s brother who was currently serving in Afganistan to attend. He had to plan his leave just right. Thankfully, he was able to attend. I always thought I would get married in May or June.

My husband and I are the exact same when it comes to froyo! He gets 1 flavor and toppings that match. I get like 5 flavors and toppings that don’t match (like fruit and candy with fruit and candy type froyo). His is always better tasting than mine, but I can never decide on just one thing I want! dream job is my “job” now. makeup artist. I somehow even got published in glamour mag a few years ago. my fav is photography makeup and natural makeup. my most favorite client ever was the most precious lady who was sick with cancer and was getting a family portrait done and a couple of weeks later, her family came in and said she had passed away but she just “glowed” in the pics!!
