My family takes Halloween very seriously.
We don’t mess around when it comes to costumes.
Even during my most awkward years of life, dressing up was something I looked forward to all year long.
And trick-or-treating still happens at the ripe old age of 25. The blessing of having neices and nephews to take around trick-or-treating and the sweet souls in my parents neighborhood that still offer me candy because they know I love it so much.
So, here is the DEALIO……
The sis and I are running the Provo Halloween Half-Marathon and we are dressing up big time!! We are hoping to win (the costume contest, not the actual race).
We have our costumes decided on (we are going to be the same thing) but I wanted to play a game with you.
The first person to correctly guess WHAT WE ARE DRESSING UP as will be sent their most favorite treat/candy package ever. I will tell you once the costume has been guessed but I will not tell you who won because I don’t want to give it away until the race. If you guess correctly I will email you and ask you for your favorite treats and address……

My initial guess (like Lindsay was some kind of candy) but if you are in it to win it, you may have taken it to the next level…. and it has to be something you can run in… I am seriously overthinking this! Angry Birds characters?
I don’t have any halloween plans or a costume, we live in a neighborhood now so we might just hang out and give out candy to the trick or treat kiddos! (and eat a bag for ourselves)

I just got really excited by two things in this post:
1) it reminded me of the Santa costume we found at a garage sail for our dog, Salsa. It is super obnoxious, and therefor so are we, but it’s too funny not to be worth it :-)

Awesome! I just saw an ad for that race and thought how cool it looked! I can only guess you’l be big bowls of salad??? I will be dressing up as a marathoner because I will have (hopefully) finished my first half the day before.
