I did it. Spin craving FULFILLED!!!
Remember how people stole my spin bike all morning long? I showed them and hit up a killer spin class last night.
The music was awesome, my legs are finally capable of moving again after Monday’s long ride (ps my diaper shorts are the brand LG and I am only a teensy bit sore in the nether regions which is a miracle). Last but not least, I in fact did end up with one drop of sweat in my eyeball after some wicked sprints. If you are a long time reader you know that is my favorite thing in the world (besides the whole burning sensation in my retina thing).
I know, I know……if it wasn’t for my day job I would be a professional iphone photographer.
Enter in a wardrobe change (okay, just my shirt), I couldn’t let my mother know that I came straight to dinner from spin with no shower (if it makes you feel better I did 10 swipes of deodarant on each pit on the way to the restaurant).
My Gma had to postpone our date a day and my mom knew that my heart was set on soup and that the thought of chewing anything makes my head crack in half. So, she tooke me for tortilla soup. Crackers=free carb that I can let absorb delicious soup and they are soggy enough to cause no pain.
Complimentary ice cream cones? I swear, if every restaurant did that, none of them would ever go out of buisness.
Same nail polish from July 10, 2011. Awesome.
When I got home from school yesterday and started crying to Billy about the fact that I couldn’t live with this tooth pain until Sept. 22 (the next available appointment that they had), my phone rang. The sweet nurse said that she pulled some strings and I am getting the insides of my tooth ripped out at 9 a.m. TODAY= no more pain, hallelujah:)
I will be requesting laughing gas.
I will also be requesting one of the nurses to hold my hand for the shots and sing to me a soothing lullaby until I drift off into a deep laughing gas dream.

OMG girl, I cannot believe you’re so brave about teh dentist. I would have been crying like 2minutes into the appointment. I HATE needles in my mouth. I have no problem with them for shots or donating blood, but I get hysterical when they want to give me a shot in my gums. Good luck to you today!! Hope you feel better soon.
And I just moved to an apartment ACROSS THE STREET from Jason’s Deli. The free ice cream blows my mind. As does their giant salad bar. Awesomeness.

I haven’t really downloaded anything since I made my little girl Taylor’s first year dvd. There is a huge list of songs that i want. I would like the ability to to snap my fingers and automatically br dressed and ready for the day. That way i wouldn’t have to do my hair or makeup everyday. It's like marble sponge cake…nothing beats chocolate and vanilla! :-) Ooh, I totally agree with you. Teleportation would be amazing! :-D Half of our family is in New Zealand and I am always telling Tom how amazing it would be if they invented teleportation, lol! :-P Seriously though. I hope someone does ;-) It could be like in Harry Potter, when they can kind of teleport themselves – but I don't want to get winched or whatever happened to Ron when he got his arm broken/ripped off in the last movie. Laughing gas isn’t even enough! Youre nerves are exposed and will be poked, prodded and moved! If you can withstand that without novicane I applaud you. As a dental student/future dentist I can tell you that I havent met a person who refused anesthesia!
You are just so brave.. I can’t even begin to start. I’ll shed a tear of pain for you..
You might want to expand your eating choices with yogurt, pudding, mashed potatoes/garlic-y peas, guacamole, yam soup and such!! Feel better!

Apparently we totally have a Jason’s Deli here. How did I not know about this? The menu is completely right up my ally. Ironically it is right across the street from my dentist. When they say no eating for an hour, that doesn’t include ice cream right?

I do wish I woke up with teleportation because gas is freakin’ expensive and it takes too much time to just drive to the gym and drive back sometimes. I need those extra minutes so I, like you, can shower or at least spray myself a couple more times with perfume.
I wish I lived near you and not on the other side of the country so we could enjoy some ice cream cones together!!!!

– LOVE LOVE LOVE one of my FAV lunch date places :) I love the turkey wrap with tomato soup and I dip my wrap into the soup bc honestly everything is better dipped in tomato soup and HELLO free ice cream machine!! I saw a sign on it once that claimed ‘fat free’… I’m sure it’s not sugar free which is why it tastes so so good, but I’ve been known to have one cone as an appetizer and then another for dessert :)

I love sprints so much too! When I am teaching, I motivate my class by telling them to think of their worst enemy and any frustrations they are having in their lives and just bang it out on the bike….not quite sure if it works for them, but it works for me!! :)

I LOVE Jason’s deli.. Get a potato! (oh sorry… after your teeth are healed.. better get some of magic calcium (AKA Yogurtland!) in your body STAT) They are amazing and GINORMOUS! I was thinking ‘well i’m not that hungry (liar) I’ll just get a potato’… yeah it was the size of an infant and I ate the whole thing! You’re insanely brave about the dentist. I havent’ been to a dentist in over 10 years… I HATE the dentist!! Nurses don’t let me hold their hands anymore because I bruised the crap out of a poor nurses’ hand at the dentist once. In my defence, the dentist promised he would tell me before he jabbed the massive needle into my gums… I don’t know how he thought he’d stick that in my gums without me noticing, because it hurt a TON, which was totally amplified by the fact that I jumped when he did it… and squeezed the nurses hand overly hard. And this is why I don’t go to the dentist :)

two. I would choose to FLY! Or maybe teleportation because my hair wouldn’t get messed up that bad/I wouldn’t get helmet hair from wearing one while flying. Because that would probably be dangerous?
three. I have NO idea but I would like to think Kix. Just because they are always so tasty. Not too sweet and not too bland. Plus, you can add Nesquick chocolate powder on top (really to any cereal…like I have since 6th grade) and then pour milk on top and the WHOLE bowl is that much more delicious and divine and you get chocolate milk to slurp up at the end. The end.
four. I’ve only been once. But I loved it. Especially all the “free smells” they give out!!

My kids and I talk all the time about the super powers we would want. My daughter wants to be like elasta-girl on Incredibles so she can reach food from the couch and not have to get up! My son wants to fly, or be invisible. I would agree that teleporting would be the best – with 3 kids to get ready, I am scrambling to be on time. Wished for that super power many times!
