This summer has been a crazy one for me, so no races unfortunately. But I do plan on doing a 10km or half marathon (or both!) next summer and I would love to have a raceday journal to log it all in!

My favorite (& only) race in the past was my first 10 km last year. I finished in 1 hour 1 minute 1 second, which I thought was pretty awesome.

My most favorite ice cream flavor is cookie dough ice cream or vanilla!

ps. I’m going to go “like” raceday on facebook right meow.

I JUST (and I mean 2 minutes ago) registered for a 5k in Sept that is held at night, the shirts glow in the dark, and anything that glows is highly encouraged during the race. So we are going to be tricked out with glow sticks, necklaces, etc. Should be a ton of fun!

Fav ice cream flavor: toss up between mint choc chip and pb choc.

Well a race I WAS looking forward to was a half marathon in October in Newburyport, MA (i.e. beeaautiful) and it’s all about being eco friendly. My shirt is going to be a tech shirt made out of recycled bottles! However, because of the stress fracture in my foot, I don’t know for sure if I can do it. :( Hopefully I can. But my first marathon is in March in Atlanta and I want to make sure I can do that, so if skipping that half is required, I’ll do it. Hrmph.

What an amazing book! I’ve never seen a race book before!
I am running the Bath Half for the 3rd time in March next year. The first time my goal was just to finish, the second time I wanted to smash my goal and finish in the best time I possibly could but my sister got sick half way round and I ended up walking the last 3 miles with her, holding her up… not a great finish but at least I didn’t leave her to pass out on her own!
This time I am running on my own and I am determined to kick ass!

Omgosh that book is SO cool. I never knew that existed! I have a lot of catching up to do but I have wanted to do this run for about a year, so my shin just better toughen up and get over this stupid injury! I would LOVE for the mud run to be the opening page of my very own Raceday book! I will totally go like page and update my facebook status about this post and tweet about it, but I have to wait until after work (so I don’t get in trouble) and I will comment about that after I do!
