He always catches me.
I was minding my own business and after eating a nutritious bfast I just wanted a ‘sliver‘ (ps I just learned that 200 slivers equal half the pan of brownies….dang it) of brownie before we ran out the door for church.
Yes, I am using a butcher knife to cut my brownies. It was the closest thing and I wasn’t about to walk an extra 10 steps to the other knives on my ‘rest’ day.
We may have snuck out to the car half way through church for a donut or two.
The last 15 minutes of church, all I could think about was what I was going to throw into my salad bowl. I am really enjoying not trying to budget in all of my meals for $40 a week…..this fall is going to be hard.
Sweet potato, peppers, tomato, cilantro, tomatoes, turkey, pickles, cottage cheese, hummus and broccoli slaw.
Are you a ‘just a sliver.’ pick at the baked goods person or are you normal and actually cut a pice and just eat it?
-I do both…..within 20 minutes of each other. 13 slivers and then I cut a piece and sit down to eat it.
What is your favorite sweet potato combination?
-I LOVE them with cottage cheese….heavenly!
