My ideal day= hanging out with people as much as humanly possible. I like alone time too but life is just better when you can be wild and crazy outside in 75 degree weather (how there is still that much snow in the mountains, I do not know but I did make Billy build a tree house in the back yard in case there is a flood from all of the melted snow).
After some quality girl time, it was off to Cafe Rio for my most favorite salad ever. Thank you to teacher appreciation weak for providing us with free salads (we even got the expensive steak salads muhahaha, we know how to cheat the system)…….if you recall we are the cheapest people alive and people know that and give us food gift certificates because they worry that Billy may starve to death because I eat all of the food in the house before he can even get to it.
Look who came with us…..the sister. Why does she have to act grown up and take a normal picture and look like a super model. Gosh, I have a few things to teach her.
The sissy took us for fro-yo afterwards with one of her gift cards (Yogurtland, I am not cheating on you, my sister forced this upon me and it was only 1/88th as good as your yogurt). I had to chase Billy around the store in order for him to be in the background of my picture. It’s not like I ever talk about him or post pictures of him on the blog, it is like he is getting sick of me forcing him into the blog 12 times a day.
We sat outside and ate our ice cream. Summer is here people and Vitamin D from the sun has the same effect on me as endorphins do……..the lethal level of happiness occurs when the two forces are combined and I get to go running outside in the sun!
We went back to my mom’s house because clearly 24 hours of not hanging out with her is way too long and she had a special treat for me and Rachelle.
She is pointing out to you the fact that it was part blue (even though it looks green) because we have a weird obsession with blue raspberry flavored candy, my mom knows us to well.
A gummy snake complete with a rattle, head and scales was shared while we watched Teen Mom 2 on my laptop. No, I did not force Billy to watch such a show and he watched sports in the other room. I think he was more than okay spending a little time away from the girls because we were so hyped up on sugar it was scary.
Time to go teach some spin and spend some time at the pool and FINALLY go to Costco. Hope you have the BEST Saturday of your life!!!
What is a pool NECESSITY for you?
-Lotion (I hate dry, pruney hands more than anything) and something to read. Okay, a few more include music, gum, sunglasses, a best friend or two and chapstick (at least 3 different ones in case one gets lost and the other runs out from applying it every 48 seconds).
If you could choose a gift card to any restaurant near you what would it be?
-Cafe Rio……hint hint to any student’s parents that read the blog and want to get an end of school gift for me.
What is your favorite way to lie/sit as you are watching a movie?
-I LOVE laying on my stomach at all times with a big fluffy pillow under my chin or on a bean bag-we need one of those again!
