It looks like my niece is about to land on her neck but don’t worry she landed on her back. My brother is an ER doctor and he says trampolines, long boards and rollerblades keep him in business.
The tramp is totally worth it though and the number two reason I am livid at my femur is because I had to watch from the deck. I am the trampoline queen. You should see my double back flip.
Then we headed inside for a dinner made by the sister. Rice, a honey chicken/veggie stir fry and some bbq chicken and potato crackpot creation that I brought. I felt like I ordered a healthy version of Panda Express’s two item meal….all we needed was a styrofoam divided plate.
After dinner my bro-in-law (sissy’s husband) threw a tantrum because we wouldn’t make him ice cream (mainly because we didn’t have the ingredients). I thought that I had issues about my ice cream cravings.
After dinner my mom treated me to a head massage. I didn’t think my hair was that dirty until I saw this picture and the right side of my head looks like I spilled baby powder all over it. Head massages are my favorite but next time mom you should wear gloves because who knows what is in that rats nest.
Dessert was a crazy delicious vanilla bean cake and I promise it is somewhere beneath the strawberries and cool whip.
Slobbery kisses are my favorite.
The bro-in-law did his first marathon on Saturday and I had to take a picture of him limping down the stairs….I am sure you all know that feelingafter a hard race- man, those stairs hurts.
Overall, Sunday night dinner was a success and it helped me forget about the fact that I should have been laying out all my gear, hydrating, and hitting the hay early to catch the bus to Hopkinton. Next year right:)
Running isn’t going anywhere and it will always be there waiting to be my best friend again and to spend every morning with me frolicking through the roads (or treadmill for 8 months of the year).
GOOD LUCK BOSTON RUNNERS!!!!
Did you have a trampoline growing up? Do you have one now?
-Yep until we moved and then I lived on my neighbors tramp. Literally, thank you Swensons, Mckells and Sorensons for allowing me to spent 3/4ths of everyday in your backyard.
What did your mom do for you when you were little/teenager/now to comfort you?
-She gives the best head massages and my whole body goes limp when she does.
Tell me about the time that you have been the MOST SORE from a race/workout?
-After my first marathon I literally stayed in bed all day long because I was so sore and made Billy wait hand and foot on me and I considered 4 limb amputation.
