Today’s workout: Started with 2 lamesauce miles. I literally came home and crawled back in bed. I was being super grumpy and didn’t want to run and instead watched The Biggest Loser while drifting in and out of sleep again. I had 12 miles on my schedule so I decided to do the things that MOTIVATE me to run (click here to see what those are) and I got myself back up to run again. I decided to forget those first two miles even happened and did my scheduled 12 @ a 7:15 pace and felt awesome.
I came home and chugged a protein shake with glutamine and did some Jillian Michaels yoga meltdown. My muscles were tight city but felt great after a few sun salutations:)
I wish I could say I got ready and did grading and other productive things but that would be a lie. Instead, I changed into my spin clothes, vacuumed my car, rented Eat, Love, Pray from Redbox and made the most delicious lunch ever. I have to say that this is my ideal way to spend a day off from work. Donut-TV in bed-Run-Lunch-Yoga-Blog-Movie-Spin. I just need to figure out a way to make this routine a daily occurrence.
My salad had spinach, red pepper, broccoli and grilled tilapia that I coated in Italian bread crumbs before baking. Fiber baby.
