1/2 jar pb=1/2 of a serving right?

Valuable life lesson of the day: Do not bring a half-eaten jar of pb to school with you and a spoon unless it fits into your budget to buy a new jar every other day.

Better believe I scraped every last bit out of there:)  No peanut left behind.

———————————————————-

To help Billy see past my crazy dirty hair I fixed us up some chicken tacos.  Thanks to everyone’s advice I used the CROCK POT to make me seem like a superstar by whipping up a speedy dinner.  Chicken in crock pot and dump a load of taco seasoning in and then go for a run.

I found random tortillas in our freezer (if I am dead tomorrow it is because I ate tortillas that are probably 5 years old) and heated them up on the stove.  Presto…….just add some cheese, avocado, salsa, lettuce, sour cream and a head of broccoli on the side and you are good to go.

How often to you go through a pb jar?

-I am embarrassed how quickly I did, but it felt so right.

What do you think I had for dessert last night?

-A- Sour Patch Kids, B- Rocky Road Ice Cream, C-Snickerdoodles or D-all of the above.

I cannot be trusted with a half empty jar of PB!!! It would be GONE in an hour! :)

I'm sorry you have to look at socks on your floor now – that would drive me insane… taht is until Charlie ate every last one of them.

Reply

I just packed mini to-go cups of peanut butter in my travel bag for the Little Rock Marathon this weekend! Yum!

All of the above on the desserts, for sure!

Reply

my best friend used to tell me I smelled like peanut butter. She told me it was seeping through my pores!!! I've since cut down but I'm sensing a comeback

Reply

I did pilates for about 6 months a couple years ago- it was awesome until we got a different teacher (then it sucked!)
All my roads around here are like trails- filled with sticks, potholes and danger. So, yes!
I eat a ton of PB- can polish off a jar a week.
For dessert last night I bet YOU had all of the above. I continued in my mini-twix binge of glory. Yummmmm.
(all those socks make me feel very upset. I HATE sorting socks! Poor you….)

Reply

I used to go through a large jar of peanut butter in 3-4 days. Now I try to hold myself to 2-3 (ok, definitely less than 6) large spoonfuls per day :)

Reply

Dang those tacos look good and it's 6:30 am….

Love when you post your playlist! I think I need to throw Remember the Name back on mine. I'm remembering loving that song at one point!!

Your socks-hilarious! Wait until you have 3 kids and have to sort socks. We've given up. I buy new socks, ponytail holders, and bobby pins once a week!

I go to spin once a week. New teacher, blahhhh. Not as fun as my kick your trash Becca!!! I'm begging her to come back!!!!!

I love trails. One day, when I can't run faster anymore, I'm just going to run trails….

PS-You are a sweet sweet girl, really know how to make a person's day and I just love everything about you:)

Reply

I loved your post on the scale. I have not weighed myself since I read it! My relationship with the scale drove my husband crazy! It has felt liberating not weighing myself and than having my feelings about myself be dictated by the numbers. I LOVE running on trails! We have a 2.5 mile trail that is in the woods and has some major hill it is the best! When my children were a few years younger I use to jog the trail with my triple stroller! I love your blog you have definitely became my running hero!

Reply

omg i have done the half a jar thing before too- we all do it!! usually a jar lasts a little over a week for me!! not a huge jar though.. medium sized!!
YOU HAD sour patch!

Reply

I lose socks all the time! I can't even count the number of unmatched socks we have in our drawers right now! It's so frustrating!!

Reply

I bought a jar of honey peanut butter (justin's if you haven't tried that brand you have not lived!!!!) and looked at the jar yesterday umm yeah definitely almost finished off the jar in less than a week. That in itself is disgusting, BUT I also have been eating maple almond butter and Chocolate almond butter too. (all justin's brand) SO I am basically on nut butter overload but it feels so good to be an addict sometimes!!!!

Reply

The teacher makes or breaks the class for me. Music can be a huge help but if the teacher is energetic I'll get into it even if I hate the music. I have done one trail run but I want to do more! I'm more of an almond butter kind of girl, I love the peanut butter in reeses though! I would guess all of the above? Your tacos sound fabulous, I love Mexican food. Your hubby is a lucky man.

Reply

For me the concern would be more about whether I could budget in 1/2 jar's worth of calories before I worried about the cost of the peanut butter itself. Knowing that as my miles increase so too can my intake of high calorie yumminess is definitely motivation to keep running. As if I needed motivation. :)

Reply

Those tacos look awesome!!
I wish I could go to one of your spin classes.

The last class I went to was ZUMBA. The instructor and the music make or break it for me.
I bought a 2kg jar of PB from Costco, so I don't have to worry about running out anytime soon :)
I'm going to go out on a whim here and guess D- all of the above :)

Reply

Wow.. that's a LOT of socks with no homes. I did a water aerobics class with my MIL and few weeks ago.. WHOA. It was hard. I can run half marathons, but will be completely sore the day after water aerobics.

Reply

Haha oh the socks! Such an issue.

I went to my first spin class on Tuesday morning and thought of your spin song lists! The instructor was awesome and the song list was perfect, but it would have be SO MUCH FUN for you to be the spin instructor!!!!! :)

Haven't been on a LONG trail run, just a few miles. I liked it much more than sidewalks and treadmills!

Reply

we buy our jars of pb at costco/sams and as difficult as it is to get down to the bottom of those monster jars- its always done…there are currently 4 at our house right now- and if you have a problem with germs and want a pb sandwich from my kitchen then you have to bring your own
I would also like to guess E- you probably had something else besides those glorious deserts that you left off
I'm doing my first trail run 5k this weekend- any tips? I don't really know what to expect other than to watch where i'm going!

Reply

D-All of the above!

I do group Hot Yoga! It is silent….but I probably would enjoy a cycle fit or body pump class…love the up beat music!

We go through crazy amounts of PB! Costco size too! The tacos looked super delish!

Reply

Your sock situation is the story of my life with my husband. Every week we have mounds of missing sock pairs. I don't understand where they go!

Reply

I only buy one tub of peanut butter per month between me and hubby. I love peanut butter but not that much that I will finish half a jar of it at once.

Reply

Love the sock update. You guys kill me!

We go through so much PB in my house because both Mike and I love it, but so does Bungee! She goes crazy when we give her the empty containers to "clean." It was also like the best day of our lives when we discovered the wonders of natural pb, it's soooooo good!

Reply

I definitely wish I was in your spin class. You always have the songs I like. PS: That might mean you have terrible taste in music because I for sure have TERRIBLE taste in music. What's up Spice Girls????

Reply

You eat so much broccoli, have you ever tried broccoli rabe (also referred to as broccolini)? It's kind of like a mix between spinach and broccoli. You just sautee it with EVOO and garlic for about 15 minutes. Its really good.

Reply

I am not a group exercise fan at all. Most of the classes seem kind of lame at the Y.

I love trail running! I started last year with my dad and after my first time on a very difficult trail and doing a face plant, I grew to love it. I raced a 5 mile race and a half marathon on a trail and have another trail half in April!

I eat PB every single day, so I go through jars of PB all the time. Right now I have 3 jars plus 1 jar of almond butter open at home.

Dessert is for sure option D!

Reply

I eat tons of peanut butter!! =D
Those tacos look/sound delicious! Makes me wish that they sold tortillas here….when we want tacos, we get to make our own tortillas.
As for dessert, I choose D.

Reply

thats a lot of peanut butter! hahahh

and thats a lot of missing socks. hahahahha. hopefully u will find their mates!

i have done a train race before. and looooooved it. wanna do many many more!

Haha oh nooo so many lonely socks!

DANG those socks!! :) I hate it when that happens with our familly too!! I think we have a sock monster in our dryer that eats the other one! How else can you explain how the disappear!!!

I'm gonna say A&C!! Regarding fitness classes…I'm the same as you. Music and teacher have to be pretty good!! Music especially!!! :) You're so right about the trails!! I'm soo happy for you that you are mixing up your runs AND getting outside!! :)

Have a great Wednesday!!!

Reply

I haven't been to an exercise class in 2 yrs

I do most of my training on a dirt road that goes around Shriever AFB,, kind of a trail

I don't eat pb really that much anymore :)

I vote for all the above!

Reply

Ah, the socks! I am a stickler for all my socks coming out of the wash in pairs and if they don't….then I have anxiety issues.

Reply

You need Costco sized PB stat!! hahah

The last group exercise I did was boot camp. I agree – music makes the class! I may have done embarrassing dance moves in between exercises and got laughed at.

I've never done a trail run but I want to try one!

Reply

I thought of you this morning when I was tearing apart my drawers looking for matching (or at least nearly matching) running socks. ;)

Reply

I literally had at least 1/4 of a big jar of almond butter jar with my breakfast yesterday…didn't even get a stomach ache! Sometimes my appetite is crazzzy.
The tacos look awesome – I have to remember the crock pot next time!

Reply

I love that spinning playlist! My favorite song to run to right now is "Mr. Brightside"–love it!! And I am going to a group exercise class today!! :)

Reply

IF the sock has no match, throw that away! :) brian would do the same thing though! :) we will probably have the same sock basket someday!

Reply

Agreed that you need to start getting pb at Costco. They have Almond butter too.

Love the playlist — The Killers are great for getting going!

Reply

I just want you to know that I LOVE your blog! I have been reading a couple of weeks, but this is my first comment. I am the same way about losing pairs for socks. Now my husband makes me bundle them when I take them off, so that they are together and he unbundles them when he puts them in the wash. (Yes..my husband is a superhero and does all of our laundry!) Keep up your great work!

Reply

its been too long since ive been to a group class… i should go to yours! the teachers and their music makes it for me. we go through costco size tubs of PB about every other week. hubby and i are both super obsessed. coco puffs (3 bowls) was my dinner/dessert last night :)

youve inspired me to break out the crockpot tonight!

Reply

i eat PB out of the jar like it's going out of style.

Mmm chicken tacos. now thats one i havent had yet and am now surprised i havent. ha

Reply

Thanking you making my stomach turn inside out and start to eat itself. Those tacos look amazing! Peanut butter….goes on everything.

Reply

I go to kickboxing every Monday! Nothing like ending the week by punching the air, haha. I don't go through PB that quickly, but I could eat an entire jar of almond butter.

Those tacos look delicious!

Reply

the sock problem is big. the PB problem might be bigger.

we have both at my house.

Reply

I can't believe you have that many socks without matches! Holy cow!

I hate to admit that I still haven't been to a class. I am thinking of going to one tomorrow morning as I have to get up EARLY anyway.

I trail run very little but I would like to do it a lot more! Especially because I got awesome trail shoes for Christmas.

We go through peanut butter somewhat quickly. It's usually what we have every morning but I don't think we go through it as fast as you…

And I think you had all of the above.

Reply

I bet you my pb intake is even more embarrassing.

I JUST CAN'T HELP IT.

…and, quite honestly, I don't want to. ;)

Reply

Your food pics make me want tacos for breakfast! Yummm! love trail running…getting ready to take my first spin class! Love pilates classes…but they are only as good as the instructor…and I love mine.

A jar of PB goes pretty quick…especially in the summer when I eat PB and banana smoothies like 2x a day! YUMMY!

Reply

D – all of the above!!!

I did my first trail race a few weekends ago, and didn't realise that it's name (Hillbilly 5k) was linked to all the HILLS we would have to run until it was too late. So it was super awesome hard and fun!! Running on flat, non-snowy road now seems so easy :)

Reply

I went to a great Spin class Tuesday night. Billy and I go through peanut butter and almond butter pretty quickly in our house! There's never a time when we're out, though. I'd cry. Dessert last night was Chocolove sea salt & almond squares and a ridiculous amount of dried mango. Once I start…

Happy day, pretty girl!

Reply

I teach spinning and I think the best comment I got was: "you kicked my ass. you're like a peppy drill sergeant with good music."

When I go to classes I want good music, lots of energy and a little bit of friendly yelling.

I go through peanut butter faster than should be humanly possible.

Reply

I look at all the food on this blog and (as a former obese person – I lost 80 lbs and have kept it off for 1 1/2 yrs with running) I do not know how anyone can consume that many calories without gaining weight. I'm not obsessed but I have to keep that in mind or I will start putting on the lbs. Then I realized that you probably burn at least 4,000 calories a day with all that running/spinning. Wish I had time to do that! If I get in a 9 mi. run I consider it a great day.
I love PB but have to take it easy.
Unmatched socks are just part of life. A lame part.
I like trail running but I live in a city…hard to find them.
Thanks for an inspirational blog…I'm enjoying hearing all about the products you like and the training food.
Cheers!

I have my favorite group exercise classes – power yoga & spinning! The instructors are high energy, helpful, and have GOOD music, which is the best part for me. In my spinning class, we did jumps to Justin Beiber, everytime he said Baby. I'm not a big Beiber fan, but that pretty fun to do.

I love summer & fall trail runs! All my high school cross-country runs were on trails, and there's something about being surrounded by nature and watching your every step that stimulates me, and makes my runs awesome. You're right – all those hills & uneven terrain will definitely make you stronger! You go girl!

Reply

Hey! Quick question: when talking about your spin classes, what do you mean by 'dancing' during one of the tracks? I take tons of spin classes, and have never heard of that before!

Reply

That is just an amazing amount of mis-matched socks! Too funny.

Love PB–we go through it very quickly around here. Love trail running…give it a try.

Reply

Hey girlie. I'm with Jenn…with 3 kids, we lose socks like crazy!!! In fact, I just bought myself some new running socks yesterday. If you are ever in Portland, I will show you some AMAZING trails but I don't trail run often. Depends what kind of peanut buttter it is. What kind do you eat? My neighbor just got some peanut butter in the mail from Whole Foods yesterday and it compared their peanut butter with Jiff or something…amazing the difference. I hope to go to spin tonight for the first time in awhile. Since I rarely run with music, it is always a treat to have a good playlist…I'm pathetically lazy when it comes to making a good playlist…it is overwhelming to me really and I don't have enough time in the day to do the other things I want….on that note….turning off the computer now.

Reply

I vote to throw out all the mismatched socks, go to Costco and buy 5 packs of the same kind of sock. You'll never have the problem again!

I've done one trail run – just one – and it was a race. It wasn't very technical, which was awesome, and I liked how serene it felt. I, however, did not like the wall of hay I had to climb near the end of each loop (there were three).

And for dessert, I had some nasty, no sugar added ice cream. I have no idea why I bought it so eating it is like a lesson in buying good stuff.

Reply

I love trail runs! They are my favorite! Something about being in nature, surrounded by god's beauty, and running in the mud is so freeing and relaxing!

Side note: totally love the title of this post! I got through PB like its my job!

Reply

Maybe your orphan socks can come get with my orphan socks and they will all be one big happy family (and you guys can move to Texas so we can be best friends).

Thanks for the peanut butter confession… so glad I'm not the only one…

Reply

The last group class I took was yoga. For yoga the teacher makes all the difference. The music really doesn't influence my enjoyment. Now, for spin or pump, music is key! Last week at spin the music (and the mike) were too loud and I left with a headache. Not fun. (Hoping things are better tonight)

I don't trail run regularly but I did run a night trail run 5k. I had to have a head lamp and boy was it fun! I can't wait to do it again next year.

Reply

You are super women girl. Making amazing dinners, running trails, and working fulltime. Those tacos look delish. I am thinking you should let me move into your treadmill room and let me eat your yummy meals each night.

I haven't ever really done a trail run. (unless you count running through the everglades in Florida during Key West Ragnar.) I'm sure running trails will make you faster, stronger, and make running streets feel like a piece of cake.

Reply

If I don't have a match for a sock, I may mix & match (if it's a place where I don't care).

Reply

Your chicken tacos look delish! We had crock pot chicken last night too!
I love group classes, but if the music sucks then it's really hard. You know I love trail runs. I like not knowing what is around the next corner, having to constantly adjust my cadence, jumping over streams, crossing ice rivers… o.k. that wasn't much fun, but everything else is the best.
I think you need to buy peanut butter in the big economy jars. Smith's has great deals on that as we go through a ton too. But I have 4 kids I can blame it on! Have a great day!

Reply

Thanks for the shout-out and comment on my blog!! You are too sweet!!

I love your blog and all your dedication to running–you keep me going!!

your running and your food just rock! My two favorite things!

Most pb will last a month for 5 ppl. Peanut Butter & Co's Dark Chocolate Dreams lasts approx 2 days for just me. I buy an extra for the rest of the fam. :) And PS I sort of miss you over at my blog. :)

Reply

Last group ex class? Pilates. What can I say? I'm obsessed. If its good enough for Kara Goucher, its good enough for me :)

Reply

Don't you just love the crock pot? So easy! It's like an over but better!

I don't eat a lot of peanut butter but the hubs is a big pb and J fan! I also make pb and nutella sandwhiches. Have you ever had one of these marvelous things?

Reply

I LOVE MR. BRIGHTSIDE!!! I was such a Killers fan in college and recently heard brightside at a restaurant and am totally obsessed again.

Reply

Hahaha SOOO MANY SOCKS!!! I could definitely survive on Peanut butter and peanut butter alone; it's soo good!! But it is super high calorie…800 for half a jar? eh, not so bad if it's a meal right! :)

Reply

Our spin instructor drives me nuts with her music. She doesn't put together a playlist before class. She just plugs her iPod in and flips through songs the whole class. We did end up with some good ones last night though. My favorite was Metallica's Master of Puppets during sprints!

Reply

No shame- I go through PB quickly too!

Spinning is my favorite group exercise class, and I have the same requirements. The teacher has to play good music and have lots of energy!

Reply

I actually have 4 tubs of pb on the go, plus my homemade choc pb. Plus loads of other nut butters. I am obsessed. :)
I love the motivation from the instructors in classes- off to body pump later :)

Reply

1. I went to an ab class at my gym this morning before work. A good class has to be fast paced though. I hate when the instructor gives too many breaks or doesn't do things fast enough. I want to keep my heart rate up!

2. I go through PB jars way too fast.

3. I had an ooey gooey single serving brownie from Life {and running} in Iowa- so good! Here is the link http://nicandkier.blogspot.com/2011/02/ooey-gooey-single-serve-brownie.html

Reply

Once the pb jar is open, I can't be held responsible for what happens next. I try to balance this with my budget for groceries but that isn't always the case. Sometimes laundry day gets skipped and replaced with a new jar of pb. What can I say? Life's about sacrifices :)

Reply

That was great! I eat a ton of almond butter! (maple flavored justin's is the best).

My husband and I have a constant sock issue as well. I feel like they are "our socks," and for some reason, he is not interested in "my socks" because they are cute and colorful–but he could if he wanted to!

Love reading your blog!

Reply

Never done a trail run, although i love hiking. I think i'd look around too much and fall over.

Sometimes my yoga class has had 30 people in it which would be fine if the room was big enough we were pretty cramped that day. I find that I have to really like the instructor for me to enjoy a class. I got really sad when the Zumba instructor i like left, i haven't been to Zumba since :(

I ate Dark chocolate covered almonds for dessert last night

Reply

I am excited to go to my first spin class. I'm also nervous… Haha.

Reply

thank god you gave us a sock update! i was on the edge of my seat wondering how that all panned out.

Reply

Oh socks haha! I must say I am kind of obsessed with matching all my socks up – I get quite angry when they come out of the dryer and 1 is missing. I turn into full out search and rescue mode!

I'm not huge on group ex. classes but the last one I went to was at Vida in DC. It was ok. I think I am too competitive so stay in a room and go through the same exercises as everyone else.

I trail run occasionally, wish I did more though! I would love to hit up some trails out west with you, if I ever make it out there! And PB is my downfall – Skippy Natural. I can rock a jar of creamy and a jar of crunchy in one week. I could find an excuse to put PB on anything!

Reply

I went to a Zumba class on Tuesday night, and now I'm seriously thinking about becoming an instructor. Not because I was all that good my first time out, but because teaching the class is the only way I could afford to go weekly! Loved it – and yes, the music was a huge part of my enjoyment

Reply

You should make a sock monster doll. Or 40.

What was the last group exercise class you went to? What makes a class good or bad for you?

-Oh, jeez, I don't know. Wait, yoga. It was fine.

Do you trail run?

-YES YES YES I LOVE IT.

How often to you go through a pb jar?

-It takes me about a month to finish a jar, mostly because I forget about it.

What do you think I had for dessert last night?

-a spoon of peanut butter, actually, because my stupid diet doesn't allow sugar.

Reply

A few weeks ago my friend and I may have snuck into a Zumba class at our old college…at least we blended in with our Nazareth sweatpants.

Peanut butter doesnt stand a chance in my house…I'm always making peanut butter cookies.

Your dinner looks sooo good, I'll definitely be making that soon!

mmmmmmmmmm, totally drooling over your chicken tacos! Hello delicious dinner!!!
That is a lot of socks without friends LOL! We have a basket I keep in the laundry room of un-matched socks. Drives me insane that I can't find the other ones!!!

I trail run twice a week, you really need to concentrate so you don't face plant. It is keep for agility, and it gives your body a break from the pavement.
Love trail running!
I used to hate PB, but I overcame it and had some on toast with a banana for breakfast today and rubbed my tummy and felt happy.
Avo is the best! It makes you pretty too which explains why you are so gorgeous. The good fats are good for your skin.

I do boxing classes, they make me feel tough :) and I try get to a yoga class also once a week and i do group bootcamps

Mmmm peanut butter…. you know what's deadly/delightful?? Stirring a tablespoon of chocolate syrup into a small bowl with a few tablespoons of PB… mmm, heaven. I LOVE trail running, I mean, I guess it's the only type of running I do out here in Colorado! Unless I'm running to campus or something. But all my long runs gotta be in the mountains! I'd get so bored otherwise! I love the mountains!

Reply

The last group exercise class I went to was kickboxing. The instructor was amazing and I was shocked when the hour was over so fast. She had great music and lighting that made it so fun! Downside…we're not members at the gym so I had to go on a friends guest pass.

I did my first trail run last weekend. Wow….a lot harder then the rhythm you find running on the treadmill or street. But I did love it. My back did not love the downhills so I'm not going to do it too much.

I LOVE crunchy peanut butter but with my 3rd child having a peanut allergy I haven't had a pb&J in a couple years. Sometimes I just crave it! Maybe it's the protein.

I had jelly belly jelly beans for dessert last night. I'm not a huge fan of gummy sweets as my heart belongs to anything chocolate! BUT they were yummy and not near the calories as a chocolate treat! :)

Oh—since you just made taco chicken in the crock-pot. Here's another variation.
Fiesta Chicken
4-6 chicken breasts
1 envelope taco seasoning(Trader Joe's has a good one with no MSG)
1 jar of your favorite salsa
Optional additions-
1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can corn drained
4-6 hours on low and serve over rice, on a salad, or in a tortilla with your favorite toppings(avocado, plain yogurt/fat free sour cream, cheese, etc)

Enjoy!

I SO want to go to your spin class!! It sounds AWESOME! That playlist ROCKS!! An instructor TOTALLY makes or breaks a class for me. I think I have a girl crush on my current one…oh dear…!

Have you ever had chocolate peanut butter? Because THAT is dangerous stuff. Seriously that stuff can only last a few hours around me:)

Reply

lol… first I'll answer the last question… all of them!

I love trail running… LOVE it. We do more almond and cashew butter than peanut butter and go through it like crazy. The last group exercise thing I did was probably Bikram yoga about 5 years ago. Can't believe it was that long ago…

Reply

I sure as heck hope you had all of the above for dessert! Dessert is WHERE IT'S AT!

Reply

okay 1. I think I need to take advantage of eating more PB…i'm struggling yesterday and today to get enough calories in.
2. I am NOT ALLOWED to eat sugar, b/c my coach says it slows my recovery. the only time I AM allowed to eat it is once a week after my really LONG run. Jealous about the sour patch kids.

Reply

I find it entertaining that our bodies are in similar crave cycles. PB is a biggie right now. I just leave the spoon on top of the jar.

I want to believe you had all 4 desserts, but thought I might see a posted pick of the snickerdoodles if you baked them, so i am going with A.

Trail run……..love love love to do with someone, but should venture on one alone. That sounds like some optimal spiritual time.

I eat PB everyday….and sometimes twice a day….I love almond butter as well.

I bet you had all three of those things for dessert. I had a little bowl of white chocolate chips and a peppermint patty for dessert. :) addicted to white chocolate right now!

I'm going to have to go with D, all of the above. I'm totally jonesing for a sugar fix and there is none in my house.

Good luck with the socks! I can never find matches.

THANK you so much for the birthday shout out!!!! IT was a great day!! The last class I went to was yoga. I like having the music and the instructor leading. I haven;t done a trail run since September – We usually run the trails in the fall for XC training!

I think my BF wants to leave me for you so you can feed his sour patch kids addiction… apparently I eat a lot, but not enough!! The red ones are my favorite though :-)

Trail running is AAAAAAAAAAAAAWESOME!
Those socks look close enough like each other to me. I say go with the mix and match.

Hahaha phew, I thought I was the only one who ended up with a pile of ankle socks with no matches! How do I even have that many different ankle socks? Ha

I'm actually involved with a non-profit for collecting sock "orphans" :)

I haven't been part of a gym or done a group class for almost two years. Running is cheaper, but I kind of miss it!

i only go to 2 group exercise classes…spin 2-3x/week (my fave!) and body pump 1x/week. it makes me weight train, and the teacher is damn cute. he does an awesome job, too, but yea :)
good music is a make or break, along w/ an energetic teacher. i only attend certain spin classes for that reason.

i go through a jar a week, easily.
