LOVE Saturday mornings.  Once again Billy outdid himself and was up at 3:30 a.m. to fix my phone and guess what…..he did.  Literally, genius.

So, we didn’t really get much sleep but surprisingly both of us are really happy and energetic:)

Workout:

-7.5 mile recovery run 8:13 pace.  It was so nice to just run at whatever speed that I wanted and just enjoy listening to music and thinking about everything.

-I taught spin and all of my favorite spinee’s were there, it was magical.

After a quick shower at the gym, I rushed over to a baby shower for a good friend.

Nothing says I love you like a friend that makes you an amazing breakfast.

Crepes filled with nutella and fruit topped with homemade whipped creme and nuts with a side of eggs.  w.o.w.

When you are used to eating plain oatmeal every morning as you are trying not to burn yourself while rushing to your next class, this was a delicacy.

I have known these girls since jr. high and one since elementary school.

I think I am a little behind on the whole baby-making thing.  Don’t worry there will be a little Billy Jr. running around in about a decade or two:) for now I am loving holding my friend’s babies until they poop and buying them adorable outfits.

Off to a Christmas party?!?! My family is trying to extend the holiday’s as long as possible.   We were all in different places for Christmas so we are officially changing today to be Dec. 25.

Do you ever shower and get ready and the gym?

-Pretty much everyday of my life.

Do you still hang out with your high school friends? Do you keep in touch with them?

-Yes and Yes

What are your favorite crepe fillings?

I was making mine purely nutella with at least 1.5 cups in each but then my friends made me put fruit in them.

You desperately need a twitter account. LOL.

I need to add you on facebook…. do you have a facebook? Can I be your friend? :)

I still hang with my HS friends too…. :) a few will be in my wedding!

You have PLENTY of time for babies! Get that Olympic experience under your belt first! (I was 36 when I had my first).

Crepes from the corner stand in Paris…the best no matter what's inside :) Nutella-banana for a treat; egg, cheese, mushroom for a meal.

No gym now…just running inside The Gate or beside the bay, but that is what I used to do…when I actually took the time to "get ready".

My best friend I have had since I was 5…that's a long time. I do still keep in pretty close touch w/ some good high school buddies.

Have fun at that party!

THANK YOU for the AMAING CLASS this morning… When baby comes I will have major spin withdrawals… noooo!! My favorite filling: NUTELLA!!

You've got a while to do the baby making! :) That wall of photos is AMAZING!!!

Yummy! Those crepes look AMAZING!
Hope you have a great weekend!

I live about 10 blocks from my gym so I can get home quick enough for showers. :)

I am not as close with high school friends as I am college buddies but definitely still in touch.

I've only had fruit filled crepes before but nutella sounds like HEAVEN.

Loving the pictures on the wall behind you guys in that pic!

Reply

Is that pictures at your friend's house? I love the wall of photos behind you.

Love, love, love the babies in the photo too!

Nutella crepes are my favorite!

Depends on the day. Sometime I will shower there, sometimes I come home.

And Yes to high school friends. I graduated with a small class so we all stay in touch and try to visit with one another whenever time allows.

Reply

I have never gotten ready at the gym, but maybe I'll have to try it; you make it sound fun!

I don't keep in contact with friends from high school.

Just give me a crepe with anything, and I think I'll be good!

Reply

The Crepes look amazing!! Billy is a keeper =D
I like blackberries in my crepes and sometimes I put in cottage cheese with them or banana- but berries are best!

Nice work on the recovery run. You can start working on the babies soon so the rest of us have a shot at winning the races =D

Just kidding ;)

Anyone who lòves Nutella is awesome in my books.

I need to start showering and getting ready at the gym..it would save me LOADS of time!

Slash crepes = pb&j allll the way. With bananas:) Or bananas with pb, both rock my socks

nutella filled crepes sounds amazing to me! I still talk with a few friends from high school – love it! we have so many weird, weird memories together :)

Reply

I don't talk to too many of my high school friends (except on Facebook). I prefer not to shower and get ready at the gym but I will if I have too :) And I don't think I have ever had a crepe??? I guess I am missing out! :)

I just found your blog through Clean Eating Chelsey. I'm in love. And through stalking your pictures, I saw you recently eating at Cafe Rio. And from stalking your About page, I can tell that you recently ran the Utah Valley Marathon since I have a picture of my mom up on the same podium! So, I'm guessing you are from Utah. Hey, me too! So, now that I've sufficiently creeped you out… I'm Teri. Nice to virtually meet you. :)

QUESTIONS FOR YOU IF YOU HAVE TIME!! :)
Funny I was just going to ask you what you ate for breakfast??? and also how you feel about protien shakes after working out! I Love all your cute outfits.

Hmm…i like cinn. and sugar in my crepes! and I must be in Paris while eating them :)
No, dont keep in touch much with high school friends. :(

1. Never showered at the gym, or gone to work straight from the gym.

2. HS Friends – yes! Two were in my wedding. We're just a little spread out now (MA, OR, NY, NJ, MD, CO, VA). For the last 2 years we meet up at one of our friend's family's cottage for a weekend in the summer, that's been a lot of fun! Was able to see mostly everyone over Christmas break too. No babies from HS friends yet; but my college friends have started with the babies. We're 27, but I don't think we're ready yet!!

3. Nutella in crepes is the way to go! See my St Martin post. Lovely French couple on the French side of the island selling crepes from a pink and white stand next to the road :) There's a crepe place near where I'm from that serves breakfast and dinner! It was great 5 years ago, but haven't eaten there since. The idea of dinner crepes is crazy to me! http://www.simplycrepes.com/Menu/entrees/tabid/285/Default.aspx

So I am super behind on commenting but here goes a novel: I feel totally behind on the baby wagon BUT Bo complaints, I am
Impatient and selfish so kids would probably be dangerous, not to mention, I spend too much $$ on running paraphernalia to sacrifice it to someone else.

I still talk to my bff from high school, she is still my bff and is my maid of honor. The other people I have lost touch with over the years, but I feel so fortunate to have an amazing person who I have known since age 8.

Never ever ever showered at the gym, mostly because I live .5 miles from my gym, but it's also a fear thing. If we move, it will change I'm sure, but I relish it now!!

Reply

I wanted to tell you that I tried a stationary bike for the first time today!! However, I was sad though because the gym I joined doesn't have a spin class… your class sounds like a blast!

Reply

I spent the weekend getting my butt kicked by my sister who teaches spin in San Francisco. It's been years since I've taken a spin class….but now I may be addicted. So. Much. Sweat. It was amazing. Time to find a gym in Boston with kick-a** spin classes.

Yep!! Everytime I'm back in good ol' SLC I meet up with my high school bffs and we have breakfast or lunch and reminisce about that one time at band camp. It is awesome.

Reply

I used to shower and get ready for work at the gym all the time! I had it down to a science. :)

I have some great friends from high school (really since a lot younger than that) and we get together as often as possible. Most are married with babies or pregnant! Billy and I have some time before we have babies. Prob not quite as much as you and your Billy, though – we've getting old! haha. :)

Reply

Nutella is obviously the best..with bananas & strawberries inside. I LOVE my high school friends, and we always hangout and have the best time when we're all home on breaks.

Reply

how fun! all of my friends from high school are having babies too… talk about peer pressure. i think we should form a support group for people who want to wait just a little bit longer… :)

my high school girls? yes and no. we're scattered across the country and some are better with staying in touch than others. i'm one of the ones that is SUPER bad about calling….

i love crepes of all kinds. i'm an equal opportunity crepe lover. i'm partial to lingonberries. i like to pretend i'm swedish.

Reply

I almost never shower at the gym. After years of being an exercise when I wake girl, I have shifted to evening workouts, so I come home and go to bed a sweaty mess. If I swim, I shower, but otherwise, I wash my face and call it done.

Highschool friends … no not one.

I have never, never, never had a crepe. You're making me wonder what I am missing.

I want your playlist! I wish you could post some sort of datafile, that your bloggie friends could download.

Reply

So fun! I had chocolate crepes tonight for dessert and they were to die for.

I don't usually shower at the gym, I prefer to go back home because I don't want to have to lug my clothes, toiletries, towels, hair dryers, etc to the gym. And if I go between classes I just go to the next class stinky.

I am still in touch with my close friends from high school. I actually was in New York with one this weekend!

Nutella is awesome. Anything chocolatey or nutella-ey in a crepe is bangin.

Reply

raise your glass is my current power song. a few weeks ago, i listened to it for 8 miles. that's a lotta pink.

Reply

Yup, I am still very much in touch with my H.S. friends. They're all scattered around the world and I'm happy that some of them are also here in the U.S. =)

My fave filing would be fruits. Esp mangoes. We have the best tasting mangoes back home. =)

Oh my gosh I'm hungry again now, even though I just ate. Those crepes look amazing. If you guys ever make it to Seattle again, you have to go to Sally's Crepes in Cap Hill. They are phenomenal, sometimes it takes a long time because its this tiny hole in the wall place where its literally just Sally making crepes

Reply

I used to shower at the gym once in a blue moon. Gym showers skeeve me out, though, so I always wear flips and shower again as soon as possible!

My hs friends are still some of my best. I keep in touch with them WAY more than most of my college friends.

Reply

Again, super jealous of your insane speed. Can you bottle some of it and send it to me?

I sort of keep in touch with some of my HS friends, but don't hang out with any of them. Funny story, in '08 I went to visit a friend in Germany (she was a foreign exchange student my junior year), and while I was there found out a friend from high school was ALSO in Germany! And not too far from me, so we met up and spent the day together.

Crepes must be filled either with fruit, nutella, peanut butter, chocolate chips, or some combination of the 4. And smothered in whipped cream.

I showered at the gym a couple of times. Wish I still had a gym to go to… but living 25 miles from the nearest town kind of puts a damper on things.

How awesome is the photo collage in that pic?!

Good Job on your run :)

I absolutely love your spin class music list!! Awesome! I would love to take a spin class with you :)

My favorite fillings are: any type of fruit :)

Oh, my gosh! Look at Jen's sweet little girl! I feel like I should know who everyone in this picture is, but I only recognize three of you.

And since you were asking:
1. No. I don't go to a gym, so it would probably be weird if I showered there.
2. Yes. Fo sho.
3. Nutella & bananas together or Raspberry jam alone.

And BTW: I'm loving that I get to keep tabs on you.

Reply

1. There are entire weeks where I realize I haven't stepped foot into my own shower. The good news is, the gym and pool showers are pretty decent and get warm water.
2. I only keep in touch with like two high school friends. The rest of them weren't really worth it (sounds mean, but you'd agree if you met them).
3. My cousin lives in Burlington, VT and there's a creperie up there. For dinner, I had one full of vegetables and some sort of delicious cheese, and for dessert we had a BROWNIE wrapped in a CREPE. If I knew how to add pictures to my response, I would. Everything was un-be-liev-a-ble.

Have fun at your "Christmas"!

i love crepes! I wish we had a crepe place here!

Have you ever used baby powder to soak up some of the sweat out of your hair? I tried that after a friend tipped me off (I was teaching 2-3 classes at the gym a day and all the washing was wrecking my hair). It was a FAIL. Why? Because white + brown = gray!!

P.S. Let me know if you try the "switch" trick in your spin class. I want to hear if your peeps like it as much as mine did!

I think I only shower at home like once a week and my high school friends are my best friends- love them. Nutella crepes are the best in the world!!

Reply

I still have 4 friends from high school and we get together whenever we can. Love them so much!

I've never made crepes but if they're made for me – YUM. When I was in France I think I ate 5 in 3 days. SO DELICIOUS.

Reply

That breakfast sounds delicious! My HS friends are my best friends! I don't keep in touch with my sorority sisters like I do my HS besties! I have never showered at the gym. Although, our gym is very nice.

Reply

That breakfast. I need it! There were only 39 people in my graduating class, and 13 of them (exactly 1/3) went to the same college (including me)! We all keep in touch and some of them are still my best friends. Then again we have gone to school together since kindergarten so I don't really even know what life would be like without them!

And you look AWESOME in the baby picture! How do you get your bangs to be so great? Mine are always a greasy mess flopping into my eyes, agh!

Reply

YUM! Isn't nutella the best thing on earth??? I got hooked while in Italy last summer. Ate a whole jar in a couple weeks :)

I love that you share the playlists, gives me new ideas for my running mixes!

Reply

I probably shower and get ready at the gym 50% of the time on weekdays.

If I was making a crepe I would most definately fill it with dark chocolate dreams peanut butter and banana and/or strawberries. Yum!

Reply

I've never actually showered at my gym. For whatever reason it sort of creeps me out.

I am still in touch with a lot of people from high school, even though I live so far away. They are still some of the first people I call upon when something really good (or really crappy) happens.

I can't say I've ever had a crepe. I know, I'm sheltered.

Reply

Ooohhhh Nutella – so dangerous! (But oh so good.)

That's awesome you still keep in touch with your HS friends. Sadly, there's only a few i still talk to. :P

Reply

How old are you? 24? You're definitely NOT behind in baby making!!! Your 20s are for runnin'!

Reply

I shower and get ready at the gym at least twice a week. Last year during the winter I showered more at the gym one week than I did at home. Saves on water!

My MOH is my friend from high school, we met in 7th grade and have stayed friends since then!

Reply

I'm scared to shower at the gym, it kinda creeps me out lol.

Crazy how much your blog has grown. 66 comments in a day. You should feel very accomplished!! I love the pic of all your high school friends, since I know some of them, its crazy Jen already has a baby!!
