Yoga or baking. I think you know which one won this morning.
I used to to exercise e.v.e.r.y. single day of the week.
Now I have realized that there are so many benefits to taking a rest day each week. Rest days are especially important now that I am trying to get my knee better in time to start training for Boston. At least that is what I keep telling myself to make me feel better about waking up at eleven and laying on the couch as long as I can before I throw on a skirt for church.
Besides just baking today I have managed to PREP all of my lunches and breakfasts for the week, crack one of my favorite bowls, bonk my head hard on a cabinet and I don’t even know how this happened…..
I like to tell myself that my mind is just so busy thinking about really important things and equations and stuff that I kind of do a few stupid things every now and then because I am so preoccupied with genius type things.
Lunch was a spinach salad and a sandwich. The sandwich is filled with mozzarella cheese and a caramelized pear. Sounds weird but I am pretty sure it was the best sandwich I have ever made.
I just received the best thing I have ever gotten in the mail. (Technically it came yesterday but we are too lazy to walk all the way to the mailbox everyday)
I may have peed a little.
Coming in second.
Life is good.
