How many l̶i̶c̶k̶s̶ bites does it take to get to the center of a̶ ̶t̶o̶o̶t̶s̶i̶e̶ ̶p̶o̶p̶ an apple the size of one’s head.

-I counted, 45.

Breakfast of champions: Honeycrisp apple and pretzels stolen from my in-laws before we left.

Don’t mind the greasy hair, maybe I will wash it on Thursday.

As I was getting ready for bed last night I set my alarm for 4 a.m.  Yep, I did.  Our flight left at 6:45 a.m. this morning and I wanted to get in a short session at the gym before we left.

Rewind, really 4 a.m? That is ridiculous.

I will be home by 5 p.m. today and will have time to go to the gym after.  It seemed normal to me to do anything to get that early morning endorphin pumping sweat on.

My name is Janae and I am an exerciseaholic.

I didn’t get up this morning because I knew Billy would probably send me straight to the looney bin but you better believe I will be going when we get home.

So, when does exercise become an addiction? -Exercise is always good for you right.

Anyone else truly addicted to exercise?  Make me feel a little better:)

-I like to tell myself that I do it because I am training to someday be a 2:50 marathoner (I am a dreamer but I will do it someday….just give me a little time) but I know deep down at least during this time I am injured, I exercise for the prozac effect and the feeling of accomplishment:)

-At least I am not doing it purely for burning calories or weight loss.  A few years ago that used to be the only reason I worked out, now I don’t really even think about that. I also make sure to have one rest day a week.  Sometimes, more during running training.

Sometimes I share a little too much personal information but I think you must know by now my head is a little crazy and I truly love hearing your opinions!

Don’t forget to enter my giveaway!! And also check out the cutest Keri’s soft sole giveaway! I hope I WIN!!

i'm proud of you for resisting the urge to get up and exercise this morning! i'm sure that billy appreciated not being up that early :)

i have always exercised only for the endorphin/prozac benefit of it. i fall off the bandwagon if any other reason comes into play. "being fit" has never been enough of a motivation for me.

I will admit that I do think about calories when I run, but it's become more of a fuel and energy replacement thing than a weight loss thing. And working out is so not a weight loss thing for me anyway–it's a strength, sanity, and accomplishment thing!

I'm sure that workout will feel so much better after your flight, too! ;) Safe travels! :)

There are worse addictions to have.

Waiting was probably a good idea. Your legs will appreciate the workout after sitting on the plane. Have a safe trip!

Hi my name is Emz and I TOO am an exerciseaholic.

That being said……never at the unheard of hour of 4am [okay, but only 1-2 times per year].

you're not alone. I exercise 6 days a week too =)

whoops, didn't mean to hit delete! Anyway, I used to be that way, I totally understand. But now my body works better with a little extra rest. I can go harder the next day. So when we will travel, doing 30-45 minutes runs, circuit routines, or yoga keep me sane until I can get home and back to routine. That being said, everyone has their ways and what works for them. Ya know? Safe travels and have a great workout when you get home

Not sure if you have ever looked at Dr. Tim Noakes' Lore of Running, but there IS a section there on exercise as an addiction. Not telling if I am an addict or not…:) …besides, I think the researchers still aren't sure if it's a legitimate disorder. That probably doesn't make you feel better. :/ If you are in hot pursuit of a 3 hour marathon, you are allowed to exercise 6 days a week. :) Blah! Enough rambling !!!

Anyway, sounds like a good airplane breakfast. You look too cute with that apple! :)

I'm the same way about exercise! I've been known to get up at 4:00 AM to work out but it's not far off from my normal wake up call of 4:30 AM to work out/run before work. And a 2:50 marathon…go for it!!

I love exercising too – I usually get up at 4:30 to do it. I've cut back though. I used to every day, but cut it down to 5 days a week. I'm okay with it… I think.

My philosophy is that if you enjoy exercising – why not do it? Up until last week, you could bank on me exercising 5-6 days a week (usually more than once a day). I now signed myself up for the 365 day workout challenge – where I'm shooting for some form of exercise each day for one year. Excited to do this.

6 days a week-sometimes 7. If I have to I get up at 4. If I cant run I walk and even on rest days I run 4 miles. I cant deal with a day sans excersize. Mostly because I like to eat AND I enjoy not being obese. Though currently I think I need to run 20 miles a day to stave that off. Back away from the crunch and munch..My back fat has come back and thats WITH 65 miles a week. If I stopped I would be Jabba the mom.

Are you on JetBlue? Cause I'm a flight attendant, and that setting looks awfully familiar! ♥
