1. Got to meet up with the girls for a 6.5 mile run Wednesday morning.
2. The best part of early morning runs is seeing the sunrise while you are out.
3. Brooke feels pretty proud that she can open the car door all by herself these days.
4. Chicken salad eaten while Andrew drove to our race expo.
5. Made it to the race expo to get our bibs. The kids have become huge fans of race expos because they always end up getting free stuff while there.
6. Yesterday, they were giving out DONUTS. This was my first race expo where that happened.
7. Our perception of temperatures is quite different.
8. Then it was off to drive up north to Andrew’s parents’ house for the next few days. Beretta made herself comfortable on the drive.
7. She is loved.
8. Apple cider from the crockpot.
9. They love the special playroom at grandma and grandpa’s house!
10. They didn’t have any fun at all up here;)
11. The rain turned to snow (which will make the race this morning quite interesting).
12. I watched You Before Me with my MIL and SIL and tried these for the first time. Sour candy
I hope you have a wonderful day and I am SO thankful for the friendships and connections I have formed with you through blogging!!! xoxoxox

Wishing you and Andrew a fun time at the race! I am thankful for the times I get to run with my husband, not that easy with little ones!

I’m thankful for a lot of things but one of them is this blog, your words and the joy they bring me. Through you i got inspired to run, i got to know a different part of the world (beautiful Utah) and some amazing people (you, Brooke, your mom and sister and now Knox, Andrew and Beretta). Thank you for that.
Ps: once again sorry for any mistakes.

Two things: 1) Your pictures give me serious mountain envy. I love my Blue Ridge, but even that’s an hour away. 2) Strawberry sour patch?! Sour Patch Kids are my favorite, so if I can’t find the strawberry kind here, please please please mail me some!

Happy Thanksgiving! Can’t wait to read about the race! How was Me Before You? I read the book and just cried and cried at the end! I don’t know if I can see the movie!
The Hungry Runner Girl
It was incredibly sad. My heart still hurts a bit after watching the movie. I mean it was great and I loved the actors but just such a sad story!

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your entire family! I am so glad I found your blog many years ago!
When I saw that photo of Brooke opening your car door…wow Brooke looks identical to Curly when she was that age!
The Hungry Runner Girl
They really do look so much alike! Crazy! I hope you have had a beautiful day Jade!
Annie @ Let's Get Mental
Happy Thanksgiving to your cute little fam! I honestly have no clue how I found your blog a couple years back but I’m so glad I did! I used to read several and then I slowly decided I needed to not be such a blog-a-holic and now I only focus on my own blog…but I STILL READ YOURS EVERY DAY! It’s just such a positive place to be and I’m grateful that there are other LDS bloggers out there who preach balance and happiness above all else. Okay, sorry for that little love letter I’m just grateful for you! :)
The Hungry Runner Girl
Annie, I cannot thank you enough for your sweet comment and friendship (via the internet) over the years. Thank you, this really means a lot!

Happy Thanksgiving and good luck on the race! I’m so happy to see a happy holiday for you this year. <3
"Me Before You" is utter devestation! My best friend shared the book with me years ago. Then we saw it together in the theater. And cried and cried. Then I watched it with my 16-year-old daughter (on Vidangel, won't let her read the book). At the end she said in a teary voice, "That is the worst movie ever! But in a good way. But terrible!" Yeah, kid, I know. ;)
The Hungry Runner Girl
YES YES YES! My heart still hurts over it. I agree with what your daughter said about it… I haven’t felt that emotionally involved in a movie for a long time!
Laura
Happy thanksgiving!!!!
