Well that felt better than expected!

I had my best feeling marathon in a long time (and ran a smart race ((for my fitness level right now)) for the first time in forever).

I am also positive I had the best support crew ever.

3:15:14 for the day with some negative splits!  I’ll have my full race recap up on Monday and of course randomness tomorrow for you! Hope you are having a fabulous weekend and I can’t thank you enough for all of your sweet words this week!

Congratulations! I’ve been thinking about you today. My only marathon was the St. George Marathon 10 years ago. I’ve done a lot of halves and 10ks since then, but no more marathons. Still it’s one of the things I’m most proud of.

You might have been too fast, but if you saw a group of people offering free button slaps and water spritzing, that is my dad’s family! They cheered him in his 28th consecutive St George Marathon today!

Nice job! Negative Splits! Did you see the deal from New Balance? If you run a marathon with a negative split, they’ll send you some free shoes. If the link doesn’t work, google The Strava Back Half Challenge
